b) Minimum/maximum load per socket receiver (switch/dimmer)
For this, note the information on page 11 and 12 regarding the
consumers to be used).
• max. range approx. 40 m (only achievable with visual contact bet-
ween the transmitter and receiver)
• Operating temperature: 0° - 35° C
• Mains interruption: Microinterruption
Information regarding range
Ranges and faults:
The specified range of max. 40 m is the open space range, i.e. the
range with visual contact between the transmitter and receiver.
However, in practical operation, there are walls, ceilings, garages,
adjacent building, etc. in between the transmitter and receiver,
through which the range is reduced accordingly.
Additional causes for reduced range:
• High-frequency interference of all types;
• Structures of any type and vegetation;
• Conductive metal parts, which are close to the devices/within or
close to the radio link, e.g. radiators, metallic insulated glass win-
dows, reinforced concrete ceilings, etc., but also metal-coated walls
of pre-fabricated buildings.
• Influencing of the radiation characteristic of the antenna due to the
distance of from the transmitter or receiver to conductive surfaces
or items (even to the human body or the ground).
• Broadband interference in urban areas, which reduce the signal

1) Remote socket without dimmer
(model: GT-FSI-05)
All devices and consumers with a supply voltage of 240 V~, 50 Hz
and a nominal amperage of up to 13 amperes, can be connected
to the remote socket without dimmer, this corresponds to a total
output of max. 3120 W.
2) Remote socket with dimmer
(model: GT-FSI-05d)
Note:
Please note that a suitable lamp must be connected (according to
the technical values specified on page 12) for the setup and ope-
ration of the remote socket with dimmer. Otherwise, the socket
will not function and setup (e.g. allocation of the channel) will not
be possible. The remote socket with dimmer is only intended for
switching and dimming suitable lamps. Never connect other devices
to these remote sockets.
a) The following lights can be connected to the remote socket with
dimmer without hesitation:
• 230 V light bulbs: 20 - 300 W
(commercially available light bulbs)
• 230 V halogen lamps: 20 - 300 W
(e.g. most floor lamps with uplight, without reading lamp!)
b) The following lights may only be connected to the socket with
dimmer under reservation and after precise inspection:
noise distance; the signal is not recognised in this "noise".
• Radiation from deficiently shielded electronic equipment, e.g. openly
operated computers or similar.
The effective achievable distance between the transmitter and
receiver in normal operation therefore depends very much on the
installation site and its environment. Generally, if installed e.g. in a
single-family house, faultless operation of all components should be
possible without any problem for radio reception.
Connection of devices
Please ensure that you read carefully through the following sections,
before operating the remote sockets, as not all devices can be con-
nected to this remote socket set without hesitation.
Note:
You can distinguish the two models of the remote socket by the
model numbers on the rating plate.
• Model GT-FSI-05: without dimmer
• Model GT-FSI-05d: with dimmer
In addition to this, the following symbol is in the dimmable remote
socket, under the on-off switch: .

Inserting / changing batteries
• Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote
control by simply sliding it open.
• Insert the 2 batteries of the type R03/LR03/AAA/Micro into the
battery compartment. Pay attention to the correct polarity (see
diagram).
• Slide the battery compartment cover shut and press any button on the
remote control. If the batteries have been correctly inserted, the
control lamp will flash each time a button is pressed.
• If you do not use the remote control for longer periods of time, you
should remove the batteries in order to avoid leakage.
• Never recharge batteries! Explosion hazard!
• Keep batteries away from children, do not throw into fire, short
circuit or dismantle.
• Clean battery and device contacts prior to insertion, if required.
• Immediately remove depleted batteries from the device! Increased
leakage hazard!
• Do not expose batteries to any extreme conditions, e.g. on radia-
tors! Increased leakage hazard!
• Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes. When
coming into contact with battery acid, immediately rinse the
affected areas with plenty of clear water and immediately contact a
physician.
• Always replace all batteries at the same time.
• Only use batteries of the same type, do not use different types or
used and new batteries together.
• Immediately contact a doctor, if a battery should be swallowed.
• 12 V light bulbs or halogen bulbs with electronic transformers:
20 - max. 200 W. Never connect the remote socket with dimmer
to 12 V lights with other, e.g. magnetic transformers. These include
most desk and reading lamps (30 - 50 W).
Therefore, please ensure that you adhere to the manufacturer’s
specifications for lamps with transformers, as to whether these
are dimmable. If in doubt, contact the manufacturer of the lamp
in question directly. Do not connect a lamp if you are not certain.
Important instructions:
We urgently recommend that you do not use transformers in rela-
tion to the dimmer, in order to avoid any risk of damage.
Connecting a lamp that is unsuitable for the remote socket with
dimmer could result in defectiveness of the connected lamp and
the remote socket.
c) All other lights, lamps or other devices and consumers, such as
HiFi systems, computers, etc. must not be operated, because these
devices require a consistent mains voltage of 240 V~, 50 Hz. When
dimming, the voltage is reduced, which can cause electronic compo-
nents in the consumer to be destroyed.
Note:
The sockets of your remote sockets are equipped with an inte-
grated child safety lock, which largely prevents undesired access
to conductive parts. When connecting plugs, pay attention to the
simultaneous insertion of the plug pins.

brightness and the control lamp has completely switched off.
Installation of the remote sockets
Prior to initial operation of the remote sockets, please press the
NEW CODE button with a pen in the battery compartment of the
remote control, after you have inserted the batteries.
Note:
By pressing the NEW CODE button, the factory code settings
are deleted and a new, random code is created. This reduces the
likelihood of overlapping of the radio signals of the remote control
with other devices.
Plug one of the remote sockets into the wall socket intended for
use, and then plug a consumer (e.g. a lamp) into the remote socket.
Note:
Connect suitable lamps to the dimmable remote sockets! Please
ensure that you adhere to the information from the “Connection
of devices” section.
Switch your consumer on and then press the button on the
remote socket briefly.
If you press the / button briefly again, your consumer will
switch off again.
If the remote socket is already removed from the socket after a
very short period of operation, the programming could be lost and
must be repeated. In normal operation, the programming can be
saved for approx. 1 hour after being disconnected from the mains.

tions and repeat the allocation. This almost always rectifies all faults
and errors.
If the remote sockets are disconnected from the mains, the are able
to store the set channels and the system code for approx. 1 hour. If
the remain disconnected from the mains for a longer period of time,
they must be reprogrammed after being reconnected.
Please note that a suitable lamp must be connected (according
to the technical values specified on page 11 and 12) for the setup
and operation of the remote socket with dimmer. Otherwise, the
socket will not function and setup (e.g. allocation of the channel)
will not be possible.
The remote control is equipped with four channels. You can allocate
a dedicated channel to each remote socket, or you can use one
channel for several remote sockets, in order to switch them on/off
at the same time.
In order to allocate a channel to a remote socket, press the
button on the respective remote socket and keep it pressed. Now
press the button for the channel that you intend to allocate to this
remote socket on the remote control.
As soon as the channel is allocated, the consumer on the relevant
remote socket will be switched on and the control lamp in the
remote socket will illuminate (switch only). On the remote socket
with dimmer, the control lamp will behave as described under
“Display on the remote socket with dimmer”.
In order to check whether the allocation works, press the relevant
button and for the allocated channel.
If the remote socket should not respond, repeat the allocation
process. If overlaps should take place with other remote sockets,
or similar, in your household, use a sharp object (pen or similar) to
