tor) is des ig ned for vi su al authen ti ci-
ty ve ri fi ca tion of dif fe rent cur ren ci es
bank no tes, se cu rit ies, docu ments,
tra ve ler’s chequ es and other se cu ri ty
prin ting docu ments us ing the whi te
(re flec ted and tran smit ted) light and
the UV vi ewing methods, and al so add
on de vi ces DORS 10 and DORS 15.
The de tec tor pro vi des ve ri fi ca tion of

4. If the detector was ex po sed to
cold for an exten ded pe riod of
ti me, it is ne ces sa ry to ma in tain it
un der the ro om tem pe ra tu re for
at le ast two hours be fo re star ting
ope ra ting.
1. Do not in sert or re mo ve the plug
with wet hands. It may cause a
shock ha zard.
2. Re mo ving the power cab le,
han dle it by the cab le plug to avoid
the cab le da ma ge.
3. When mo ving the de tec tor, re mo ve
the power plug from the soc ket.
Otherwise, fi re or short cir cu it may
oc cur.

UV con trol
white light control
Use the switch (fig. 2, pos. 2) to
se lect the whi te light con trol mo de:
reflected white light control
transmitted white light control

1. Connect the detector to the wall
outlet (220V, 50 Hz). Power switch
indicator (fig. 1, pos. 3) will switch
on. Switch the de tec tor on with the
 on the back si de of
the de tec tor (fig. 1, pos. 7) – the
viewing zone (fig. 2, pos. 4) lightens
blue or whi te, de pen ding on the
switch po si tion “UV/white light".
      

2. Pla ce one or se ve ral banknotes at
the front pan el of the detector with-
in the vi ewing zone (fig. 2, pos. 4).
3. Use the UV/white light switch on
the front panel (fig. 2, pos. 1) to
choose:

1. UV/white light switch.
2. Re flec ted/tran smit ted whi te light switch.
3. Power switch in di ca tor.
4. Vi ewing zone with control scale.




The detector should be sto red in the

from plus 5°С to plus 40°С and re la ti ve
air hu mi di ty not ex ce e ding 80 % at
plus 25°С.
The detector may be trans por ted in
the ma nu fac tu rer's pac ka ge (for not
mo re than 30 da ys) by truck or ra ilway
trans port in con ta i ners or house cars
or by air trans port in the pres su red
com part ments un der the tem pe ra tu re
from minus 30°С to plus 50°С, re la ti ve
air hu mi di ty not ex ce e ding 98% at
plus 25°С and pres su re from 84 to
107 kPa (630 to 800 mm Hg).



After replacement, the tubes should be delivered
to the luminescent tube utilization agency

1. In case of the blue or white light is
turned off while the power indi-
cator is still functioning, probably
the   of the
detector is actuated. The thermal
protection prevents failure of elec-
tronics. While it is actuated, power
supply of the tube is off.
To reset the thermal protection,
turn off the detector and discon-
nect it from the wall outlet for
more than 3 min. If the tube does
not light up when turning on
again, it should be replaced.
Replacement of the tube should be
performed by 
.
2. In case of power indicator on the
plugged in detector does not work,
please check:
a) check the current of the sup-
ply voltage;
b) probably the power cord is
damaged or the safety fuse
does not work; in both cases,
please, apply to the service
center.
Flashes in lamps within 120 hours since lamp work start are not defects.
