OPERATION
1. In stall the detector on the flat
ho ri zon tal sur fa ce or fix it on
the ver ti cal sur fa ce with the
help of the selftap ping screws
(re com men ded di a me ter 4,2
mm, screw he ad di a me ter 8
mm, di stan ce betwe en the
screw ho les 121 mm).
2. Con nect the detector to the
wall out let 220 V, 50 Hz and
switch it on with the "POWER"
switch on the top pan el of the
detector (Fig. 1).
The outlet should be close to
thedetectorandeasilyaccessi
ble.
3. Pla ce one or se ve ral bank no tes
in front of the detector un der
ul tra vio let light (in the viewing
zone).
4. Com pa re ob ta i ned data with
the authen tic bank no te da ta.
Aftercompletingworkingwith
thedetectorbesuretoturnoff
the detector and disconnect it
fromtheoutlet.

SAFETYPRECAUTIONS
5. It is stric tly prohi bi ted to work
with the detector if the power
cord is da ma ged. The power
cord must be re pla ced by the
ma nu fac tu rer or the ma nu fac
tu rer’s autho riz ed techni cal
sup port ser vi ce.
6. If the detector was ex po sed to
cold for an exten ded pe riod of
ti me, it is ne ces sa ry to ma in tain
it un der the ro om tem pe ra tu re
for at le ast two hours be fo re
star ting ope ra ting.
1. When replacing the tube, you
should remove the power plug
from the socket to avoid a
shock hazard.
2. Do not in sert or re mo ve the
plug with wet hands. It may
cause a shock ha zard.
3. When re mo ving the power cab
le, han dle it by the cab le plug to
avoid the cab le da ma ge.
4. When mo ving the detector,
re mo ve the power plug from
the soc ket. Otherwise, fi re or
short cir cu it may oc cur.
