General information
Reading and storing the user manual
Intended use
Explanation of symbols
The following symbols and signal words are used in this user manual, on the device
or on the packaging.
The device is exclusively designed for heating the immediate
surroundings in indoor.
This device is exclusively intended for private use and not for
the commercial sector.
Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use
not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric
shock, or injury to persons.
The manufacturer or retailer assume no liability for damage
caused by improper or incorrect use.
This user manual is part of the 360˚ Surround Heater
(hereinafter also called“device”). It contains important information
on how to set up and use the device.
Before using the device, read the operating manual carefully, in
particular the safety instructions. Failure to follow this operating manual may
lead to severe injuries or product damage.
Keep this operating manual for future reference. If you pass this device on to a
third party, you must also supply this operating manual.

WARNING!
The device features a tilt protection switch that switches the
device off automatically as soon as it is tilted or lifted.
The ETL Listed Mark is proof that the product has been
independently tested and meets the applicable published
standard.
The following signal words are used in this user manual.
1. TO REDUCE THE RISK OF INJURY, USER MUST READ INSTRUCTION MANUAL
BEFORE OPERATING PRODUCT.
2. ALWAYS PLUG HEATERS DIRECTLY INTO A WALL OUTLET/RECEPTACLE.
NEVER USE WITH AN EXTENSION CORD OR RELOCATABLE POWER TAP
(OUTLET/POWERSTRIP).
3. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot
surfaces.
If provided, use handles when moving this heater.
KEEP COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS SUCH AS FURNITURE, PILLOWS, BEDDING,
PAPERS, CLOTHES AND CURTAINS AT LEAST 3 FEET (0.9M) FROM THE FRONT

Faulty electric installation or excess mains voltage can cause an
electric shock.
- Only connect the power cable if the mains voltage of the
socket matches the information shown on the rating plate.
- Only connect the power cable to an easily accessible socket so
that you can quickly disconnect it from the mains power in the
event of a malfunction.
- Only connect the power cable to a grounded socket.
- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with
throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route cord
under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic
area and where it will not be tripped over.
- Do not place the device directly beneath a wall socket.
- Do not use the device if there is visible damage or if the power
cable is defective.
- If the power cable of the device is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, the manufacturer’s customer
service or a similarly qualified person in order to prevent
hazards.
- Do not open the device. Leave repairs to a qualified service
technician. Contact the service address indicated on the
warranty card. Liability and warranty claims are excluded if
you carry out repairs yourseld, improperly connect the device
to the power supply or operated it incorrectly.
- Only parts that match the original device data may be used
for repairs. This device contains electrical and mechanical
parts that are essential for protection against sources of
danger.

- Do not operate the device by means of an exteral timer or
separate remote-control system.
- Do not immerse the device or the power cable in water or
other liquid. The heater is not to be used in wet or moist
locations.
- Never touch the power cable with wet/damp hands.
- Never pull the power cable out of the socket by the cord;
always grip the plug instead.
- Never use the power cable as a carry handle.
- Do not place any objects on the power cable.
- Keep the device and the power cable away from open flames
and hot surfaces.
- Install the power cable so that no-one can trip over it.
- Do not bend the power cable and do not pass it over sharp
edges.
- Never store or use the device where it can fall into a tub or
sink. Do not use the device if it has fallen into water.
- Disconnect the device from the mains in the case of a fault
(such as unusual noises or smoke).
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any opening
as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the
heater.
- While the device is not in use or is being cleaned, or if a
malfunction occurs, always turn the device off and disconnect
it from the power supply.
- Do not use the device during a thunderstorm. Switch it off and
pull the power cable out of the socket.

not attempt to defeat this safety feature.

Improper handling can damage the device.
- Operate the device on an easily accessible, level, dry, heat-
resistant and sufficiently stable work surface. Never place the
device on the edge of the work surface.
- Do not operate the device by means of an external timer or
separate remote-control system.
- To avoid a build-up of heat, do not position the device directly
against a wall or under wall-mounted cabinets or similar.
- Never place the device on or near hot surfaces (stove tops,
etc.) and never expose the device to high temperatures
(heaters, etc.) or to bad weather (rain, etc.).
- A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not
use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are
used or stored.

Improper handling of the device can cause a fire.
- When setting up the device, make sure that there are no
flammable objects or fabrics close by.
- To prevent heat build-up, do not place the device too close to
a wall or directly beneath wall cabinets. The high temperatures
of the device housing can ignite home furnishings and
household items.
- To prevent overheating, do not cover the device.
- Do not operate the device close to flammable materials, such
as pillows, newspapers or curtains.
- Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed or soft, deep-pile
carpets.

If opening the packaging with a sharp knife or other pointed
objects, careless handling can damage the device.

1. With both hands, lift the device out of the packaging.
2. Check that the delivery is complete (see chapter“Scope of delivery/device
components”).
3. Inspect the device and individual parts for damage. Do not operate a damaged
device; instead, contact the maufacturer via the service center listed on the
warranty card.

any part of the device other than the controls.
- Allow the device to completely cool down before moving or
cleaning it.

Control Functions
1. Plug into a standard 120V AC, 60 Hz source.
2. Your heater is equipped with a 4 position power switch
(fig. C)
3. Set the power switch to maximum (II) for fast warm-up of a
room. Once the room temperature is comfortable, select a
lower setting to save electrical consumption and to prevent
the room from becoming too warm.
4. Adjust the thermostat to maximum and select the desired
power setting. Once the room temperature is comfortable,
rotate the thermostat counterclockwise till the heater shuts
off. The thermostat will now maintain the temperature by
cycling the heater on or off. During particularly cold weather,
the low power setting may be insufficient to satisfy the
thermostat. Select a higher setting for these periods.
Use the carry handle to transport the device.

Reset instructions
This heater is equipped with an automatic Safety Shutoff Switch
for overheat protection, which is activated as the internal
temperature exceeds normal operating temperatures.
IF THE HEATER SHUTS DOWN
1) TURN IT OFF
2) UNPLUG IT AND WAIT 10 MINUTES
3) PLUG IN AND TURN ON
Fan operation
To use the unit as a cooling air circulator without heat, turn the
power switch knob to and the thermostat to its highest
setting.
If your Heater fails to operate
• Be sure it is plugged in and that the electrical outlet is working.
• Check for any obstruction. If you find an obstruction, turn the
heater OFF. Unplug the heater and wait at least ten minutes for
cool-down. Carefully remove the obstruction. Re-plug the
heater in and restart it as described in OPERATION section.
• If you still notice the same defect, detach the plug from the
outlet and have the appliance checked by service personnel
only.
• Check that the set temperature is not lower than the current
room temperature. Set the desired temperature higher than
the current temperature to restart the heater.

The device gets hot during operation. You could burn yourself.
- Let the device cool down completely before any cleaning or
maintenance.
Risk of damage!
Improper handling can damage the device.
- Do not use any harsh cleaning products, brushes with metal
or nylon bristles, or sharp or metallic cleaning materials such
as knives, hard scrapers or similar. They may damage the
surfaces.
Cleaning the daevice
Wipe the housing of the device with a clean, slightly damp cloth.
Cleaning
We recommend that the heater be cleaned at least once a month
and before storage.
• Turn the heater OFF and unplug it. Allow it to cool before
handling and storing.
• Use a dry cloth to clean the external surfaces of the heater.
DO NOT USE WATER, WAX, POLISH OR ANY CHEMICAL SOLUTION.
• Clean your heater by the above-mentioned steps, then pack the
heater in its original container and store it in a cool dry place.
• This heater is not disassembled.
• Under normal use and circumstances, the motor is factory
lubricated and will require no further lubrication.

Before each use check that:
- The device is undamaged.
- The operating controls are undamaged.
- The accessories are in perfect condition.
- The vents are clear and clean.
Do not operate a damaged device or accessory. Instead, get it
inspected and repaired by the manufacturer or their customer
service or a similarly qualified person.
Storage
Risk of damage!
Improper storage of the device can result in damage.
- Allow the device to completely cool down.
- Store the device in a clean, dry, frost-protected place out of
the reach of children.
1. Thoroughly clean the device (see“Cleaning”)
2. Roll up the mains cable without knots or bends.
3. If possible, pack the device in the original packaging.

Waste disposal and environmental protection
Disposing of the packaging
Sort the packaging before you dispose of it. Dispose of
paperboard and cardboard with the recycled paper service and
wrappings with the appropriate collection service.
Dispose of old electrical device
old electrical devices must not be disposed of as household waste!
If the dv be used any more, each consumer is obligated by
law to dispose of old devices separately from household waste,
e.g. at a municipal/city district collection point. It is thereby ensured
that old devices are professionally recycled and negative effects on the
environment are avoided Therefore, electrical devices are marked with
