Hinweis
Vor Installation des Ex-Headsets und des Anschluss-
zubehörs sind diese Anleitung, die Betriebsanleitun-
gen des Headsets Typ Ex-TRA 200 NB und der
Kabelverschraubung sorgfältig zu lesen.
Note
Prior to installing the ex-headset-kit, these instructions
and the operating instructions of the headset type Ex-
TRA 200 NB must be read carefully.
Anwendung
Das Anschlusszubehör ermöglicht den Anschluss des
Ex-Headsets an explosionsgeschützte Telefone. Das
Ex-Headset verbessert wesentlich die Kommunikati-
on in lärmerfüllter Umgebung. Es schützt vor
schädigendem Umgebungslärm. Es erlaubt Telefon-
kommunikation bei Tätigkeiten bei deren Verrichtung
beide Hände benötigt werden.
Application
The Ex-headset-kit permits the connection of the Ex-
headset to explosion proof telephones. The Ex-headset
improves essentially the communication in ambient
noise areas. It protects against harmful ambient noise.
It permits telephone communication during activities
where both hands are needed.

Verpackungsinhalt
Das Set besteht aus:
Ex-Headset Ex-TRA 200 NB mit dynamischen
Hörkapseln, geräuschkompensierenden Elektret-
Nahbesprechungsmikrofon mit Windschutz und
flexiblen Schwanenhals, sowie einer Leitung mit
Verbindungsstecker.
Bügel und Schrauben zum Aufhängen der
Anschlussleitung und des Ex-Headsets.
14 m lange Anschlussleitung, mit Verbindungs-
buchse zum Headset und Kabelende mit Ader-
endhülsen zum Anklemmen an das Telefon.
Ex–Kabelverschraubung (KLE) M20x1,5 IP66 zur
Einführung der Anschlussleitung in das Telefon.
Packing Contents
The kit consist of:
Ex-headset Ex-TRA 200 NB with dynamic receiver
insets, noise compensating electret nearfield re-
sponse microphone with windshield and goose-
neck, as well a cord with connecting plug.
Bracket and screws to hang up the connecting cord
and the headset.
14 m long connecting cord with a connecting jack
at one end and with wire ends with wire end
sleeves at the other end to connect to the tele-
phone.
Ex-Cable gland M20x1.5 to lead the connecting
cord into the telephone.

Montage und Anschließen
ExResistTel (MB) / ExResistTel IP2 / IP154
Zur Befestigung des Bügels sind in der Gehäuse-
rückwand des Telefons zwei Gewindebuchsen
eingelassen. Der Bügel weist entsprechende
Bohrungen auf, durch die, mittels Senkkopfschrau-
ben, eine Befestigung an das Telefon ermöglicht wird
(siehe Betriebsanleitungen ExResistTel (MB) /
ExResistTel IP2 / IP154). Somit muss, bei Verwen-
dung des Bügels, dieser zuerst befestigt werden.
Danach kann die Wandmontage des Telefons
erfolgen. Zum Anschließen des Ex-Headsets
entfernen Sie einen der am Telefongehäuse
befindlichen Verschlussstopfen und ersetzen ihn
durch die mitgelieferte KLE M20x1,5. Führen Sie die
Anschlussleitung mit den Leitungsenden durch die
Kabelverschraubung und fixieren Sie die Anschluss-
leitung mit der Überwurfmutter der KLE.
ExResistTel (MB)
Schließen Sie alle Adernenden gemäß Anschlussta-
belle an die Klemmen 5 bis 10 im ExResistTel (MB)
an.
ExResistTel IP2 / IP154
Die Aderenden in grau und rosa sind möglichst kurz
abzuschneiden. Schließen Sie die restlichen
Aderenden gemäß Anschlusstabelle an die Klemmen
1 bis 4 im ExResistTel IP2 / IP154 an.
Mounting and Connection
ExResistTel (MB) / ExResistTel IP2 / IP154
There are two built- in threaded bushings in the rear
side of the telephone case for the attachment of the
bracket. The bracket has mating drill holes through
which it can be fastened by means of flat head screws
(see operating manual of the ExResistTel (MB) /
ExResistTel IP2 / IP154). So if you want to use the
bracket it has to be mounted first on to the rear side of
the telephone. Afterwards the wall mounting of the
telephone can take place. To connect the Ex-headset
remove one of the sealing plugs to be found at the
bottom part of the case and screw in the delivered
cable gland M20x1.5 completely. Lead the connecting
cord with the wire ends through the cable gland and
fasten the cord with the cable gland.
ExResistTel (MB)
Connect all wire ends to the terminals 5 to 10 in the
ExResistTel (MB) according to the connection table.
ExResistTel IP2 / IP154
The wire ends in grey and pink have to be cut off as
short as possible. Connect the other wire ends to the
terminals 1 to 4 in the ExResistTel IP2 / IP154
according to the connection table.

Allgemein
Verbinden Sie den Stecker des Ex-Headsets mit der
Buchse der Anschlussleitung und setzen Sie das Ex-
Headset auf. Die Hörschalen sind so einzustellen,
dass die Ohren gut umgeschlossen werden und das
Kopfband auf der Kopfmitte aufliegt. Eine optimale
Sprachübertragung und bestmögliche Geräuschkom-
pensation ist dann gegeben, wenn sich das Mikrofon
in einem Abstand von ca. 5 mm von den Lippen
befindet.
General
Connect the plug of the Ex-headset to the jack of the
connecting cord and put on the Ex-headset. Adjust the
position of each headset muff equally on both sides,
until the ear cushions have a tight and comfortable fit.
The headband should sit straight on the top of the
head. For the optimal voice transmission and the best
possible noise compensation are then provided adjust
the flexible gooseneck so, that the microphone is
positioned at a distance of approximately 5 mm in front
of your lips.
ExResistTel (MB)
Inbetriebnahme und Betrieb
Ist das Ex-Headset richtig angeschlossen, ersetzt der
Headset Betrieb den Betrieb Freisprechen des
ExResistTel (MB). Daher ist der Betrieb Freisprechen
bei angeschlossenem Ex-Headset nicht möglich.
Wenn Sie das ExResistTel (MB) mit der Lautspre-
cher-Taste einschalten, befinden Sie sich im Headset
Betrieb. Mit den +/- Tasten am ExResistTel (MB)
kann die Lautstärke des Ex-Headsets für das
Gespräch geändert werden. Eine dauerhafte
Änderung der Headset Lautstärke können Sie über
das Menü „Einstellungen_Headset“ oder bei
ExResistTel (MB)
Commissioning and Operation
If the Ex-headset has been connected correctly, the
headset mode replaces the hands free mode of the
ExResistTel (MB). For this reason the hands free mode
is not possible with connected Ex-headset. If you
switch on the ExResistTel (MB) with the loudspeaker
key you are operating in headset mode. With the +/-
keys of the ExResistTel (MB) you can change the
receiving volume of the Ex-headset for the actual
conversation. If you want to change the receiving
volume of the Ex-headset permanently use the menu
„Settings_Headset_Volume“.

Durch Drücken der Lautsprechertaste wird das
Gespräch beendet. Nehmen Sie das Ex-Headset ab.
Wickeln Sie die Verbindungsleitung auf und hängen
Sie sie zusammen mit dem Ex-Headset auf den
Bügel. Der Headset Betrieb ist durch Trennen des
Verbindungssteckers des Ex-Headsets von der
Anschlussleitung beendet.
End of Operation
You terminate the conversation by pressing the
loudspeaker key. Take off the Ex-headset. Coil the
connecting cord and hang it on the bracket together
with the Ex-headset. You terminate the headset mode
if you disconnect the connecting plug of the Ex-headset
from the connecting cord.
ExResistTel IP2 / IP154
Inbetriebnahme und Betrieb
Um das Ex-Headset benutzen zu können, muss auf
dem Telefon mindestens die Software V9 Release
[9.061421] installiert sein. In der Web Oberfläche
des Telefons muss unter Device/Headset der
Headset Typ auf ‚Imtradex/Ecom Instruments‘
eingestellt sein. Weiterhin muss das Headset in der
Konfiguration des ExResistTel IP2 / IP154
freigegeben werden. Gesteuert wird Verwendung
des Headsets für Telefongespräche über die
Headset Taste (Taste lang (länger als 1
Sekunde) und anschließend die Lautsprechertaste
drücken).
Das Telefon ExResistTel IP2 / IP154 erlaubt das
Telefonieren mit einem angeschlossenen und
freigegebenen Headset zusätzlich zu verschiede-
nen Betriebsarten.
1. Hörerbetrieb
Beim Hörerbetrieb wird das Gespräch mit dem
Hörer geführt.
2. Hörerbetrieb mit Lauthören
Beim Hörerbetrieb mit Lauthören wird das Ge-
spräch mit dem Hörer geführt. Der im Telefon
befindliche Lautsprecher wird dazugeschaltet.
Im Raum anwesende Personen können das
Telefongespräch mithören.
3. Freisprechen
Beim Freisprechen wird das Gespräch über
Mikrofon und Lautsprecher des Telefons ge-
führt. Alle im Raum anwesenden Personen
können am Telefongespräch teilnehmen.
4. Headset Betrieb
Beim Headset Betrieb wird das Gespräch mit
dem Ex-Headset geführt.
5. Headset Betrieb mit Lauthören
Beim Headset Betrieb mit Lauthören wird das
Gespräch mit dem Ex-Headset geführt. Der im
Telefon befindliche Lautsprecher wird dazuge-
schaltet. Im Raum anwesende Personen kön-
nen das Telefongespräch mithören.
Die jeweils aktive Betriebsart wird in der Statuszeile
des Telefons angezeigt.
Um beim Hörerbetrieb zum Hörerbetrieb mit
Lauthören zu wechseln, drücken Sie während
eines Gespräches die Lautsprechertaste .
Um beim Hörerbetrieb mit Lauthören zum Hörerbe-
trieb zu wechseln, drücken Sie während eines
Gespräches die Lautsprechertaste .
Um beim Hörerbetrieb (mit oder ohne Lauthören)
zum Freisprechen zu wechseln, ist die Lautspre-
chertaste zu drücken und bei gedrückter
ExResistTel IP2 / IP154
Commissioning and Operation
For using the Ex-headset at the phone it must be
installed at least the software V9 release [9.061421]. At
the web interface of the phone the headset type must
be configured to ‘Imtradex/Ecom Instruments‘.
Furthermore the Ex-headset must be enabled in the
configuration of the ExResistTel IP2 / IP154, to be
used. The use of the headset for calls will be controlled
with the headset key (key long (longer than one
second) and afterwards press the loudspeaker key ).
The phone ExResistTel IP2 / IP154 allows making calls
with a connected and enabled headset additional to
different operating modes.
1. Handset mode
At handset mode the call will be operated with the
handset.
2. Handset mode with open listening
At handset mode with open listening the call will
be operated with the handset. The loudspeaker of
the phone will be turned on additionally. Persons
present in the room can listen to the call.
3. Hands free mode
At hands free mode the call will be operated with
the microphone and the loudspeaker of the
phone. All persons present in the room can take
part to the call.
4. Headset mode
At headset mode the call will be operated with the
Ex-headset.
5. Headset mode with open listening
At headset mode with open listening the call will
be operated with the Ex-headset. The loudspeak-
er of the phone will be turned on additionally. Per-
sons present in the room can listen to the call.
The already active operating mode will be displayed in
the state line of the phone.
To change from handset mode to handset mode with
open listening, you have to press the loudspeaker
key during a call.
To change from handset mode with open listening to
handset mode, you have to press the loudspeaker
key during a call.
To change from handset mode (with or without open
listening) to hands free mode, you have to press the
loudspeaker key and hang up the handset with
pressed loudspeaker key . Afterwards the loud-
speaker key can be released.
To change from handset mode (with or without open
listening) to headset mode, you have to press the

Sonstige Wechsel der Betriebsart können nicht
direkt erfolgen. Sie sind nur indirekt über einen der
oben aufgeführten Zwischenschritte möglich.

1. Anwendungsbereich
Die Headsets Ex-TRA 100/200 E, EH und NB sind für den industriellen Einsatz in Bereichen mit erhöhter
Explosionsgefahr vorgesehen.
2. Sicherheitshinweise
Diese Sicherheitsanweisungen enthalten Informationen und Sicherheitsbestimmungen, die für den siche-
ren Betrieb des Geräts unter den beschriebenen Bedingungen unbedingt zu beachten sind. Die Nichtbe-
achtung dieser Informationen und Bestimmungen kann schwerwiegende Konsequenzen haben oder die
spezischen Bestimmungen für die Benutzung von Geräten in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen verletzen.
Bitte lesen Sie diese Sicherheitsanweisungen sorgfältig durch, bevor Sie das Gerät verwenden! Im Fall
widersprüchlicher Informationen haben die Sicherheitshinweise Vorrang. Sollten Zweifel bestehen (unklare
Übersetzung oder Druckfehler), ist die Version in englischer Sprache heranzuziehen.
3. Fehler und Beschädigungen
Sollten Gründe vorliegen, die auf eine Beeinträchtigung der Sicherheit des Geräts hindeuten, darf das
Gerät nicht mehr verwendet werden und ist unverzüglich aus dem Gefahrenbereich zu entfernen. Es sind
Maßnahmen zu ergreifen, um eine versehentliche erneute Verwendung innerhalb des Gefahrenbereichs zu
verhindern.
Die Sicherheit des Geräts kann unter folgenden Umständen beeinträchtigt sein:
• Das Gehäuse ist sichtbar beschädigt.
• Das Gerät wurde zu großen Belastungen ausgesetzt
• Das Gerät wurde nicht ordnungsgemäß aufbewahrt
• Das Gerät wurde beim Transport beschädigt
• Die Gerätekennzeichnung oder Beschriftung ist nicht lesbar.
• Es treten Funktionsstörungen auf.
• Die zulässigen Grenzwerte wurden überschritten.
4. Sicherheitsbestimmungen
Für die Verwendung des eigensicheren mobilen Headsets wird vorausgesetzt, dass der Benutzer die all-
gemein gültigen Sicherheitsbestimmungen beachtet und das Konformitätszertikat gelesen hat, um einen
fehlerhaften Einsatz des Geräts zu vermeiden.
Folgendes ist zu beachten:
• Das Gerät darf nicht in explosionsgefährdeten Staubatmosphären der Zonen 20, 21 oder 22 verwendet
werden.
• Das Gerät darf nicht zerlegt werden.
• Wenn die Beschichtung zur Vermeidung elektrostatischer Ladungen des Headsets stark beschädigt ist
(durchgängiger Bereich von >2 cm²), darf das Gerät nicht mehr verwendet werden.
• Die Lederhülle für das Headset Ex-TRA 100/200 NB darf nicht entfernt werden, wenn die Ausrüstung in
Gefahrenbereichen verwendet wird
5. Ex-Daten und allgemeine Daten
Umgebungstemperatur: Ta -20 °C … +60 °C
Zugelassen für die Zonen 0, 1 und 2, Gerätegruppe II, Explosionsgruppe IIC (explosive Gase, Dämpfe oder
Nebel), Temperaturklasse T4.

- Ex-TRA 100 EH: Gehörschutz-Headset für Helmbefestigung

7. Reparaturen
Reparaturen dürfen nur von der ecom instruments GmbH oder von Fachbetrieben und Servicecentern
durchgeführt werden, die von der ecom instruments GmbH autorisiert wurden, da die Sicherheit des Geräts
nach der Reparatur überprüft werden muss.
Der Reparaturbegleitschein steht auch im Servicebereich unter www.ecom-ex.com zum Download bereit.
8. Reinigung, Wartung und Lagerung
• Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen des Geräts nur ein geeignetes Tuch oder einen Schwamm. Verwenden Sie
zum Reinigen keine lösungsmittelhaltigen Reiniger oder Scheuermittel.
• Es wird empfohlen, die Funktionsfähigkeit und Genauigkeit des Geräts alle 2 Jahre vom Hersteller
überprüfen zu lassen.
• Das Gerät darf nicht bei Temperaturen ober- bzw. unterhalb des zulässigen Bereichs von 0 °C bis +50 °C
gelagert werden.
9. Entsorgung
Alte Geräte der ecom instruments GmbH können entsprechend der EU-Richtlinie 2002/96/EC und dem in
Deutschland seit dem 16.03.2005 geltenden Elektro- und Elektronikgerätegesetz (Elektrogesetz) zur kos-
tenlosen Entsorgung an uns zurückgeschickt werden.

10. Garantie und Haftung
Entsprechend den allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen gewährt die ecom instruments GmbH für dieses
Produkt eine Garantie von zwei Jahren auf Funktion und Material unter den angegebenen und zulässigen
Betriebs- und Wartungsbedingungen. Ausgenommen sind alle Verschleißteile (z. B. Ohrpolster, Wind-
schutz, Ohrstücke und ähnliche Komponenten).
Diese Garantie gilt nicht für Produkte, die nicht ordnungsgemäß verwendet, verändert, vernachlässigt oder
bei Unfällen beschädigt wurden. Gleiches gilt für Geräte, die unzulässigen Betriebsbedingungen ausgesetzt
oder unsachgemäß verwendet wurden.
Sämtliche Mängelansprüche im Rahmen dieser Garantie können durch Rücksendung des fehlerhaften
Produkts an den Hersteller beseitigt werden. Wir behalten uns das Recht vor, das Gerät zu reparieren, zu
verändern oder auszutauschen.
Die zuvor genannten Garantiebedingungen gelten ausschließlich für den Käufer. Sie gelten exklusiv und
ersetzen alle anderen vertraglichen oder gesetzlichen Verpichtungen. Die ecom instruments GmbH
übernimmt keine Haftung für besondere, direkte, Begleit- oder Folgeschäden sowie für Verluste, beispiels-
weise Datenverlust, unabhängig davon, ob diese infolge einer Verletzung der Garantieverpichtung, durch
gesetzmäßiges und ungesetzmäßiges Handeln, Handeln in gutem Glauben usw. verursacht wurden.
Da die Beschränkung der gesetzlichen Garantie sowie der Ausschluss oder die Einschränkung von Begleit-
und Folgeschäden in bestimmten Ländern nicht zulässig sind, gelten die zuvor genannten Beschränkungen
und Ausschlüsse möglicherweise nicht für jeden Käufer. Sollte eine Bestimmung dieser Garantiebedingun-
gen nicht gültig sein oder durch ein zuständiges Gericht für nicht vollstreckbar erklärt werden, bleibt die
Wirksamkeit und Gültigkeit der anderen Teile dieser Garantiebedingungen davon unberührt.

1. Application
The headset Ex-TRA 100/200 E, EH and NB are intended for use in industrial application in that have areas
increased risk of explosion.
2. Safety precautions
These safety instructions contain information and safety regulations, which are to be observed to ensure
the safe operation of the equipment in the described conditions. Non-observance of this information and
these instructions can have serious consequences or it may violate the specic regulations regarding the
use of the equipment in the Ex area.
Please read these safety instructions carefully before starting to use the device! In the event of conicting
information, the details specied in the precautions/instructions shall apply. In case of any doubt
(in form of translating or printing errors) the English version shall apply.
3. Faults and damages
If there is any reason to suspect that the safety of the equipment has been impaired, it must be withdrawn
from use and removed immediately from the hazardous area. Measures must be taken to prevent it from
being used again within the hazardous area accidentally.
The safety of the device may be compromised, if, for example:
• There is visible damage to the housing.
• The unit has been subjected to excessive loads.
• The unit has been improperly stored.
• The unit has been damaged in transit.
• The markings or inscriptions are illegible.
• Malfunctions occur.
• Permitted limit values have been exceeded.
4. Safety regulations
Use of the intrinsic safe headset assumes that the operator observes the conventional safety regulations
and has read the certicate of conformity in order to eliminate faulty operation of the device.
The following items are to be observed:
• The device should not be operated in explosive dust atmospheres Zone 20, 21 or 22.
• The device may not be disassembled at any time.
• If the anti-electrostatic charge coating on the headset is signicantly damaged (continuous area of
>2cm²), the device is to be withdrawn from operation.
• The leather sleeve for the Ex-TRA 100/200 NB shall not be removed when the equipment is used in
hazardous locations

7. Repair
Repairs are to be conducted by ecom instruments GmbH or by personnel or service centers authorized by
ecom instruments GmbH, because the safety of the device needs to be tested after repairs are implemented.
The actual repair report sheet can be downloaded from the service area at www.ecom-ex.com.
8. Cleaning, maintenance and storage
• Only use a suitable cloth or sponge to clean the unit.
Do not use any solvents or abrasive cleaning agents when cleaning.
• It is recommended that you have the functionality and accuracy of the unit inspected by the
manufacturer every two years.
• Do not allow storage temperatures to exceed or fall below the permitted range of 0° C to +50° C.
9. Disposal
Old electrical devices by ecom instruments GmbH will be directed to disposal
at our expense and disposed of free of charge in accordance with European
Directive 2002/96/EC and the Elektro- und Elektronikgerätegesetz (ElektroGesetz
– German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act) dated 16 March 2005.
The costs associated with returning devices to ecom instruments GmbH are
to be borne by the sender.
The symbol has the following meaning: Old electrical devices should not
be disposed of along with normal or household waste.

10. Warranty and liability
In accordance with our general terms and conditions ecom instruments GmbH
provides a warranty for this product for a period of two years regarding its
function and material under the specied and permitted operating and maintenance
conditions. This excludes all parts that are subject to wear and tear
(e.g. ear pads, windscreen, earpieces and other such components).
This warranty does not extend to products that are used improperly, have
been modied, neglected, damaged in accidents or exposed to abnormal operating
conditions and inappropriate handling.
Any claims under the warranty can be invoked by returning the defective
equipment to the manufacturer. We reserve the right to repair, adjust or exchange
the device.
The aforementioned guarantee conditions are the sole and only right of the
purchaser to compensation, are exclusively valid and replace all other contract
or legal warranty obligations. ecom instruments GmbH assumes no liability
for special, direct, indirect, accompanying or consequential damage as well
as losses including the loss of data, independent of whether it was caused by
violation of the warranty obligation, lawful or unlawful action, action in good
faith or any other action.
If the limitation of a legal warranty as well as the exclusion or limitation of accompanying
or consequential damage is not permissible in certain countries,
it may be that the aforementioned limitations and exclusions are not valid for
every purchaser. Should any such clause of these warranty conditions be declared
ineffective or unenforceable by a competent court, then the effectiveness
or enforceability of any of the other conditions of these warranty conditions
shall remain unaffected by such a judgement.

1. Application
Les micro-casques Ex-TRA 100/200 E, EH et NB ont été conçus pour les applications industrielles dans les
zones à haut risque d’explosion.
2. Consignes de sécurité
Ces instructions de sécurité contiennent des informations et des réglementations de sécurité qui doivent
être strictement observées pour une utilisation sans danger des équipements dans les conditions indi-
quées. Le non-respect de ces informations et instructions peut avoir des conséquences graves et violer les
réglementations spéciques relatives à l‘utilisation des équipements dans les zones Ex.
Prière de lire attentivement ces remarques relatives à la sécurité avant de commencer à utiliser l‘appareil !
En cas d‘informations contradictoires, celles qui sont précisées dans les précautions liées à la sécurité pré-
vaudront. En cas de doute (possibilité d’erreurs de traduction ou d’impression), la version anglaise prévaut.
3. Pannes et dommages
S’il l‘on suspecte une défaillance du dispositif de sécurité de l’appareil, il ne doit plus être utilisé et être
retiré immédiatement de la zone de danger. Prendre les mesures nécessaires pour prévenir toute remise
en marche accidentelle dans la zone dangereuse.
La sécurité de l’appareil peut être compromise, si par exemple :
• Des dommages externes sont visibles sur le boîtier.
• L’unité a été soumise à des charges excessives.
• L’unité a été stockée de manière incorrecte.
• L’unité a été endommagée lors du transport.
• Les marquages ou inscriptions sur l’unité sont illisibles.
• L’appareil présente des dysfonctionnements.
• Les valeurs limites autorisées ont été dépassées.
4. Réglementations liées à la sécurité
L’utilisation du casque à sécurité intrinsèque, suppose que l’utilisateur respecte les réglementations de
sécurité conventionnelles et ait lu le certicat de conformité pour éviter toute utilisation inappropriée.
Les points suivants doivent être respectés :
• L‘appareil ne doit pas être exploité dans des atmosphères poussiéreuses potentiellement explosives
Zone 20, 21 ou 22.
• Ne démonter l‘appareil sous aucun prétexte.
• Si le revêtement de la charge anti-électrostatique sur le casque est signicativement endommagé (zone
continue >2 cm²), l‘appareil ne doit plus être utilisé.
• En cas d’utilisation dans une zone dangereuse, il est interdit de retirer la housse en cuir du modèle
Ex-TRA 100/200 NB.

7. Réparation
Les réparations doivent être effectuées par ecom instruments GmbH ou par un personnel ou des centres
de réparation autorisés par ecom instruments GmbH, car la sécurité de l‘appareil doit être testée une fois
la réparation effectuée.

8. Nettoyage, maintenance et stockage
• Utiliser uniquement une éponge ou un tissu adapté pour nettoyer l‘unité. Ne pas utiliser de solvant,
ni agent abrasif pour le nettoyage.
• Il est recommandé de faire contrôler, tous les deux ans par le fabricant, le fonctionnement et la
précision de l‘unité.
• La température de stockage doit être comprise entre 0 °C et +50 °C.
9. Mise au rebut
Les anciens appareils d‘ecom instruments GmbH seront mis au rebut à nos frais, et gratuitement pour
vous, selon la Directive européenne 2002/96/EC et Elektro- und Elektronikgerätegesetz (ElektroGesetz –
Loi allemande sur l‘équipement électrique et électronique) datée du 16 mars 2005.
Les coûts liés au retour des appareils à ecom instruments GmbH sont à la charge de l’expéditeur.
Le symbole a la signication suivante : Les anciens appareils électriques ne doivent pas être mis au rebut
avec les déchets courants ou ménagers.

10. Garantie et responsabilité
Conformément à nos conditions générales, ecom instruments GmbH offre une garantie pour ce produit,
pour une période de deux ans, pièces et main d‘œuvre, en respect des conditions d‘entretien et d‘utilisation
permises et spéciées. Ceci ne comprend pas les pièces d‘usure (ex : accessoires d‘oreille, protection
contre le vent, écouteurs et autres composants similaires).
Cette garantie ne couvre pas les produits qui sont utilisés de manière incorrecte, ont été modiés, négligés,
endommagés lors d’accidents ou exposés à des conditions de fonctionnement anormales ou à une manipu-
lation inappropriée.
Toute réclamation tombant sous le coup de la garantie peut être invoquée en renvoyant le matériel défectu-
eux au fabricant. Nous nous réservons le droit d’échanger, de modier ou de réparer le matériel.
Les conditions de garantie susvisées font référence au seul et unique droit de compensation de l‘acheteur,
elles sont exclusivement valides et remplacent tout autre forme de contrat ou de garantie légale. ecom
instruments GmbH n‘assume aucune responsabilité en cas de dégâts directs, indirects, associés ou consé-
quentiels, ni de pertes incluant la perte d‘informations, qu‘elles dépendent d‘une violation d‘une obligation
de garantie, d‘une action légale ou illégale, d‘une action en tout bonne foi ou de tout autre action.
Si la limitation de la garantie légale et l’exclusion ou la limitation des dommages annexes ou consécutifs ne
sont pas autorisées dans certains pays, il est possible que les limitations et exclusions ci-dessus ne soient

1. Usos
Los auriculares Ex-TRA 100/200 E, EH y NB están diseñados para usos industriales en áreas con un alto
peligro de explosión.
2. Precauciones de seguridad
Estas instrucciones de seguridad contienen información y normas de seguridad que deben respetarse
para garantizar el funcionamiento seguro del equipo en las condiciones descritas. El incumplimiento de
estas instrucciones puede tener consecuencias graves o infringir la normativa especíca relativa al uso del
equipo en áreas Ex.
Lea estas instrucciones de seguridad detenidamente antes de usar el dispositivo por primera vez. En caso
de información contradictoria, prevalecerá la descrita como parte de las precauciones de seguridad. En
caso de duda (derivada de un error de traducción o impresión), prevalecerá la versión redactada en inglés
de este documento.
3. Averías y daños
Si existe alguna razón que conduzca a sospechar de la seguridad del equipo, desista de su uso y aléjelo
del área peligrosa. Tome las medidas necesarias para evitar que el dispositivo pueda volver a encenderse
accidentalmente en áreas peligrosas.
La seguridad del dispositivo podría verse perjudicada si, por ejemplo:
• La carcasa sufre un daño visible.
• La unidad ha sido sometida a una carga excesiva.
• La unidad ha sido conservada de forma inadecuada.
• La unidad ha resultado dañada durante su transporte.
• Las marcas o inscripciones de la unidad son ilegibles.
• El dispositivo no funciona correctamente.
• Se superan los límites permitidos.
4. Normas de seguridad
Durante el uso del auricular intrínsecamente seguro, el usuario debe respetar las normas convencionales
de seguridad; el usuario debe leer el certicado de conformidad para evitar cualquier uso incorrecto del
dispositivo.
Además, el usuario deberá respetar las siguientes normas de seguridad:
• El dispositivo no debe utilizarse en las zonas con atmósfera explosiva por presencia de polvo 20, 21 o 22.
• El dispositivo no debe desarmarse en ningún momento.
• Si el revestimiento de los auriculares para evitar descargas electrostáticas está severamente dañado
(área continua de >2cm²), el dispositivo dejará de utilizarse.
• La funda de cuero de Ex-TRA 100/200 NB no debe quitarse cuando el equipo se utiliza en zonas peligrosas.
