Water drainage
Water drainageWater drainage
Water drainage
A drain pipe (see Fig. 1) comes out from the rear of the app iance, to drain the oven cavity. This
pipe must be connected up to a pipe made to resist steam temperatures (90°C-100°C) with an
interna diameter of 30 mm (DN 30). To prevent choking, it is best to use a rigid pipe and make
sure there are no "e bow" bends anywhere a ong the drain ine. Furthermore, the drain ine
must s ope down (minimum s ope 5%) a ong its fu ength (the ength in question is from the
app iance's drain pipe to the drain point and must not exceed 2 metres). The drain ine must run
into an open f oor drain (Fig.2). In addition, there must be a free air gap of at east 25 mm
(distance between the drain ine coming from the app iance and the funne on the drain
standpipe). Whatever the case, in order to comp y with current hygiene standards, the ine
connected to the app iance's drain pipe must not come into direct contact with the drain point.
It is advisab e to inc ude a suitab e trap in the ine connecting the app iance's drain out et to the
grey water waste system, thus stopping the steam coming back out of the drain.

Use instructions (for the user)
This app iance is not intended for use by persons (inc uding chi dren) with reduced phyca ,
sensory or menta capabi ities, or ack of experience and know edge. Un ess they have
beengiven supervision or instruction concerning use of app iance by a person responsib e for
their safety. Chi dren shou d be supervised to ensure that they do not p ay with the app iance.
For first use, we advise you to et the app iance to run oad-free at maximum temperature for
about one hour. In this way, any unp easant sme s due to therma insu ation and residua work
grease are e iminated. This app iance must be used so e y for the purpose for which it was
express y designed, i.e. cooking foods in the oven. Any other use is considered unsuitab e.
The app iance can be used: for a oven cooking of deserts, pizzas, meat, fish, vegetab es, as
we as for gratinating, and for re-conditioning coo ed and frozen foods. When p acing food in
the cooking compartment, eave a space of at east 40 mm between pans in order not to over-
obstruct air circu ation. Do not use pans with higher than necessary edges: edges are barriers
which prevent the circu ation of hot air. Warm up the oven before every cooking operation to
obtain maximum uniformity. Do not sa t foods in the cooking compartment.

Residua risks (for the user)
After a cooking operation, open the door cautious y, to avoid a vio ent outf ow of heat which
cou d cause burns. Whi e the oven is in operation, pay attention to the hot zones (marked on
the app iance) of its externa surfaces. P ace the machine on a bench or simi ar support, at a
height of at east 85 cm from the f oor. The bench or support must be ab e to support the
weight of the machine and house it correct y. The app iance contains e ectrica parts and must
never be washed with a jet of water or steam. The app iance is e ectrica y connected: before
attempting any c eaning operation, cut power to the app iance. To prevent incorrect connection
of the app iance, the re evant e ectrica and water connections are marked by identification
p ates. If the interna g ass pane of the door has to be c eaned, it must be dismant ed with the
he p of a second operator: one operator supports the g ass pane , whi e the other unscrews its
securing screws.
