Safety instructions
General safety instructions
• Before switching on and operating the system, rst read this safety advice and the operating instructions.
• Keep the operating instructions in a safe place for later use.
• Installation, commissioning and maintenance of the system may only be carried out by authorised indi-
viduals and in accordance with the installation instructions - ensuring that all applicable standards and
guidelines are followed.
• Protect the devices from water penetration and humidity, since these can cause lasting damage.
• Should moisture nevertheless enter the system, under no circumstance switch on the devices under these
conditions, instead send them for examination to an authorised specialist workshop.
• The system must never be used outside of the technical specications, since this can destroy it.
• The device must be protected from excesses of heat, dust, humidity and vibration.
• When separating the system from the voltage supply, only ever use the plug to pull out the cable. Never
pull directly on the cable itself.
• Lay the connecting cables carefully and check that they are not mechanically stressed, kinked or damaged
and that no humidity can penetrate into them.
• In the event of a malfunction, please inform your supplier.
• Maintenance and repairs may only be carried out by authorised specialist personnel.
• The system must be isolated from the power supply before opening the housing.
• The device may only be opened by qualied service personnel. Unauthorised access invalidates any
warranty claim.
• Connection cables should always be exchanged through VIDEOR E. Hartig GmbH.
• Use only original spare parts and accessories from VIDEOR E. Hartig GmbH.
• The housing should only be cleaned using a mild domestic cleaning agent. Never use solvents or petrol as
these can permanently damage the surface.
• During installation, it is essential to ensure that the seals provided are correctly installed and that they are
not displaced during installation. Damaged seals must not be installed and will invalidate any warranty.
• The installer is responsible for the maintenance of the enclosure as per the technical data, e.g. by sealing
the cable outlets with silicone.
• Wire end ferrules should be used when shortening the exible connection cables.
• The devices may only be operated in the temperature range indicated in the data sheet and within the
dened air humidity range.

Control buttons on the remote control
Switch on monitor when at standby mode
or vice versa.
Press to mute the sound. Press again or press
VOL+ to unmute.
Menu selection
Press to increase / decrease
Press to bring up the main menu to the screen
and exit the current menu.
Press to cycle through the input source
in following:
VGA BNC HDMI
Press repeatedly to cycle through the available
video picture.
Inserting the batteries
Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote
control.
Insert one CR2032 3V battery with the correct polarity into the com-
partment. Please use only new batteries.
Close the compartment cover again.
Hold the remote control in the direction of the infrared sensor. The
distance to the monitor must not exceed 7 meters.
iNote: Please do not throw the used batteries into the household waste, but dispose of
them in an environmentally friendly manner at the appropriate collection points.

Startup
Switch the monitor ON and OFF
Connect the power cord to the monitor and the power source. Turn on the monitor using
the power button on the monitor or remote control. The power indication on the front
panel lights green. Press the power button again to turn o the monitor.
PC Connection
This CCTV monitor provides plug and play capability, meaning that the PC adjusts
automatically to the monitor’s setting. The CCTV monitor sends conguration informa-
tion (EDID) to the PC using the Video Electronics Standard Association (VESA) Display
Data Channel (DDC) protocol.
1. Connect the RGB Output of the PC to the VGA in jack on the set.
2. Turn on the PC and set.
3. Select the VGA input source with using INPUT button on the remote control.

1. Turn on monitor
• Connect the AC input cable to monitor, then press the main power switch on mon-
itor. At this time the monitor will enter into standby mode and the indicator light
turn red.

• Using buttons can turn on monitor from standby mode as follows: Press POWER
keyon front panel or on the remote control.
2. Turn o monitor
• Press POWER button on front panel the or on the remote control to enter standby
mode. The indicator light is red.
• Using main power switch turns o monitor completely.
Selecting screen language
Note: lf you use your monitor for the rst time.you should select the language which
will be used for displaying menus and indications.
• Press the“MENU” button into main menu.
• Press the button toselect OSD menu.
• Press the button to select OSD LANGUAGE.
• Press the button toselect your language.
• When you are satised with your choice, press MENU to exit.
No signal
If the monitor does not receive an input signal, this character is displayed:

Select input signal
Press the INPUT button on the remote control or on the monitor to select the input signal.
• Press ▼ ▲to select the correct input signal
• Conrm the selection with the INPUT button on the remote control
OSD Menu
• Press the MENU button to access Main Menu setting interface
• Press the ◄► to select the desired submenu
• Press the ▼▲ again to enter the submenu
Picture Menu
• Press ◄► button to select PC menu
• Use ▼▲ to select what you want to adjust in the VGA/HDMI mode
• Press ◄► button to adjust
• When you are satised with your adjustment, press MENU to exit the main menu

Troubleshooting
General Section
Problem Possible solutions
No picture, no sound Make sure the power cord is connected to a power source
Make sure the power button is pressed
Check the brightness and contrast settings
Picture is available, but the sound is
missing
Check the volume
Make sure that the mute function is not activated. To do this, press the mute button
Check another source, maybe the problem is with the output device
Make sure the audio cables are connected properly
The remote control does not work Make sure there are no obstacles between the remote control and the monitor
Make sure that the batteries are inserted correctly (plus to plus and minus to minus)
Make sure the correct operating mode has been set (monitor, VCR etc.)
Replace the batteries
Monitor goes o suddenly Make sure that no standby timer is activated
Make sure that the power supply is guaranteed
No source is connected
After switching, the picture appears

This is an ordinary process. If the picture still does not appear after 5 minutes, please contact your service

No or only pale colours, the quality of the

Sicherheitshinweise allgemein
• Bevor Sie das System anschließen und in Betrieb nehmen, lesen Sie zuerst diese Sicherheitshinweise und
die Betriebsanleitung.
• Bewahren Sie die Betriebsanleitung sorgfältig zur späteren Verwendung auf.
• Montage, Inbetriebnahme und Wartung des Systems darf nur durch dafür autorisierte Personen vorgenom-
men und entsprechend den Installationsanweisungen - unter Beachtung aller mitgeltenden Normen und
Richtlinien - durchgeführt werden.
• Die Geräte gegen Eindringen von Wasser und Feuchtigkeit schützen, dies kann zu dauerhaften Schäden
führen.
• Sollte dennoch Feuchtigkeit eingedrungen sein, die Geräte nie unter diesen Bedingungen einschalten,
sondern zur Überprüfung an eine autorisierte Fachwerkstatt geben.
• Das System darf nie außerhalb der technischen Daten benutzt werden, da es zerstört werden kann.
• Das Gerät ist vor großer Hitze, Staub, Feuchtigkeit und Vibrationseinwirkung zu schützen.
• Um das System von der Versorgungsspannung zu trennen, ziehen Sie das Kabel nur am Stecker heraus.
Ziehen Sie nie direkt am Kabel.
• Verlegen Sie die Verbindungskabel sorgfältig und stellen Sie sicher, dass die Kabel nicht mechanisch bean-
sprucht, geknickt oder beschädigt werden und keine Feuchtigkeit eindringen kann.
• Falls Funktionsstörungen auftreten, benachrichtigen Sie bitte Ihren Lieferanten.
• Wartung und Reparaturen dürfen nur von autorisiertem Fachpersonal ausgeführt werden.
• Vor Önen des Gehäuses ist eine Netztrennung erforderlich.
• Das Gerät darf nur von qualiziertem Servicepersonal geönet werden. Fremdeingrie beenden jeden
Garantieanspruch.
• Der Austausch von Anschlusskabeln sollte immer von der VIDEOR E. Hartig GmbH gemacht werden.
• Verwenden Sie nur Originalersatzteile und Original-Zubehör von VIDEOR E. Hartig GmbH.
• Zur Reinigung der Gehäuse immer nur ein mildes Haushaltsmittel verwenden. Niemals Verdünner oder
Benzin benutzen, dies kann die Oberäche dauerhaft schädigen.
• Bei der Montage muss grundsätzlich darauf geachtet werden, dass vorhandene Dichtungen ordnungs-
gemäß eingesetzt und bei der Montage nicht verschoben werden. Beschädigte Dichtungen dürfen nicht
mehr verbaut werden und führen zum Erlöschen des Garantieanspruchs.
• Der Errichter ist für die Aufrechterhaltung der Schutzart laut technischer Daten verantwortlich, z.B. durch
Abdichtung des Kabelaustritts mit Silikon.
• Bei Kürzung von exiblen Anschlussleitung sind Aderendhülsen zu verwenden.
• Die Geräte dürfen nur in den im Datenblatt angegebenen Temperatur- und Luftfeuchtigkeitsbereichen
betrieben werden.
