MASTER CODE
There is one, 5-digit Master PIN Code for use
by the system administrator.
USER PIN CODES
Up to 100, 5-digit PIN Codes can be assigned
for use by hospital personnel to access the
drawers.
MEDICATION DRAWERS
UNLOCKING THE DRAWERS
• Enter a valid User PIN Code
• Pause 2 seconds
• The green LED flashes twice for suc-
cess and the drawers unlock.
• After 15 seconds (default) or the
user programmed unlock time, the
drawers will be re-locked.
In the event of a cart power failure or non-functioning
keypad, an emergency lock override has been provided.
The key switch override is located on either the underside
of the drawer system or on the top of the drawer system.

• Turn key clockwise to deactivate locks.
• Once the locks have retracted, the keyswitch can be
used again, the emergency override will activate the
locks a maximum of 5 times.

• Battery Fuel Gauge - See Battery fuel gauge and LCD message center.
• Work Light Button - On/Off toggle for LED work light. If left on, the light will
auto-shutoff after five minutes.
• Computer Reboot Button (OPTIONAL) Can function as a remote reboot button or
a power toggle button. Extra hardware, found in OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES, and
compatible hardware are required for function.
• Cart Power Button Not active with Mobius Power option.
• Low Battery Alarm Mute Button Not active with Mobius Power option.

BATTERY FUEL GAUGE
Each Battery Pack has a “fuel gauge” to indicate charge level/capacity.
• You may check a Battery Pack’s charge capacity at any time.
• To check the remaining charge on a Battery Pack, press and release the white
circle on the Battery Pack’s fuel gauge display.
• The charge level is indicated in 25% increments by the number of
status lights appearing between the E-Empty and F-Full.
• After 3 seconds, the status lights will turn OFF.

- LCD displays ‘Replace Battery’
- Audible alarm (triple beep) will alert you every 20 seconds
TIME REMAINING ON BATTERY PACK:
After inserting the Battery Pack into the Battery Holster, the
system will perform a brief self test followed by the display.
CALCULATING REMAINING TIME:
Once the time is calculated, the Battery Pack will show a
continuous display of ‘Time Remaining’ in hours and minutes.
LOW BATTERY WARNING CYCLE:
25 minutes time remaining:
- LCD displays ‘Low Battery’
- Audible alarm (single beep) will alert you every 100 seconds
20 minutes time remaining:
- LCD displays ‘Low Battery’
- Audible alarm (double beep) will alert you every 75 seconds
15 minutes time remaining:
- LCD displays ‘Replace Battery’
- Audible alarm (triple beep) will alert you every 50 seconds
5 minutes time remaining:
- LCD displays ‘System Shutdown

Once the Battery Pack charge capacity is depleted, the LCD Message Center will
turn off. At this point, MOBIUS POWER, your computer and any other devices
requiring power will shut down until the Battery Pack is replaced with a Fully
Charged Battery Pack or the Battery Holster is plugged into an AC outlet using
the optional Holster Charger. You may then power on your computer and other
electronic devices.

SWAPPING/CHARGING MOBIUS BATTERIES
Step 1: Insert your fully charged Battery Pack into
the Battery Holster located on the lower
arm above the base of the workstation.
Step 2: The Battery Pack ‘Time Remaining’ is
indicated on the LCD Message Center.
Step 3: Once the LCD Message Center is active, your
computer and other electronic devices on
your mobile cart may now be powered on.
MOBIUS POWER Holster Charger
Use of the Holster Charger requires two connections. One end
connects to the Battery Holster on your mobile cart and the other
to an AC electrical outlet. After you connect the Holster Charger
to both the Battery Holster and the electrical outlet, the LCD will
read ‘AC Powered’. Charge status can be checked by unplugging
the Holster Charger from the wall outlet and reading the
‘Time Remaining’ on the LCD, or use the LEDs on the Battery Pack. Please
refer to next page for the explanation of how to read the LEDs on each
individual MOBIUS POWER Battery Pack.

To charge the Mobius Power Pack, remove the
battery from the holster by pulling it out by
the handle. Then place the Mobius battery in
the charger with the bevel on the front of the
battery aligned with the front of the charger
bay. The Mobius Power charging station and
holster are gravity fed to eliminate any battery
docking related problems.

Battery Pack into any open slot making
