CLEANING:
• Always remove the plug from the electrical socket and allow the heater to cool down
before cleaning the heater.
• Wipe heater with a soft dry cloth.
• Wind the cable around the cable tidy and store the heater in a clean dry place.
• Do not try to repair the heater yourself, always consult a suitably qualifi ed engineer.
WARNING:
Do not immerse the heater in water.
Do not use any cleaning chemicals such as detergents and abrasives.
Do not allow the interior to get wet.
EVENTUALLY, YOU MAY WANT TO REPLACE THIS HEATER:
New regulations require the recycling of Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(European “WEEE Directive” effective August 2005—UK WEEE Regulations effective 2nd
January 2007). Environment Agency Registered Producer: WEE/GA0248QZ.
When your heater comes to the end of its life or you choose to replace it, do not dispose of
it with your normal household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your
supplier or local authority for suitable options.

READ THIS FIRST:

the supplier where you bought this
product.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using an electrical appliance,
basic safety precautions should always
be observed, including the following:
• This appliance is not intended for use
by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
• Extreme caution is necessary
where children or persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities may come into contact
with the heater when in use.
• The product is for household/offi ce
use only.
• In order to avoid overheating when in
use, do not cover or obstruct grille or
the air intake openings.
• Do nor leave the heater on overnight.
• Do not place the heater on carpets
with a very deep pile.
• Always ensure that the heater is
placed on a fi rm level surface and
ensuring that the heater is not
positioned close to fl ammable
materials, such as curtains, drapes etc.
as this could create a fi re hazard.
• Never leave the heater unattended
whilst it is in use.
• The heater must not be located
adjacent to or against an electrical
outlet.
• Do not run the cord under carpets/
rugs.
• Arrange the cord away from high
traffi c areas and where it will not
present a trip hazard.
• Do not operate the heater with a
damaged cord/plug or if the heater
malfunctions.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must
be replaced by qualifi ed engineer.
• Avoid the use of an extension cord as
this may overheat and cause a risk of
fi re.
• Use the heater in a well ventilated
area.
• Do not use the heater in any
areas where petrol, paint or other
fl ammable liquids are stored e.g.
garages or workshops.
• Do not use this heater in the
immediate surroundings of a bath,
shower, swimming pool or where
water is present.

OPERATION OF THE HEATER:
NOTE: It is normal when the heaters are turned on for the fi rst time or when they
are turned on after having not been used for a long period of time the heaters
may smell slightly for a short while.
1. Take the unit out of the box and remove any protective wrapping.
2. Place the heater on a smooth level surface away from any obstacles.
3. Plug your fan heater into the power supply. Make sure your power supply
corresponds to the power indicated on the rating label.
4. Heat temperature setting can be regulated using the thermostat switch located
on the bottom left of the heater. This switch is used for both the fan and
heat elements. Note the fan speed cannot be altered and will always remain
constant. To turn the fan heater on:
Use right control and set as below:
0 = OFF
= Cool air
I = Medium heat (1kW)
II = High heat (2kW)
