Important Safety Advice
When using electrical appliances, basic
precautions should be followed to reduce
the risk of re, electric shock, and injury to
persons, including the following:

heater. Overheating will result if the heater

The supply cord must be placed on the right
hand side of the heater away from the heat
outlet underneath the heater.
Although this heater complies with safety
standards, we do not recommend its use on
deep pile carpets or on long hair type of rugs.
Caution: Some parts of the is product can
become very hot and cause burns. particular
attendtion has to be given where children and
vulnerable people are present.
This appliance can be used by children
aged form 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experinence and
knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children shall not
play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintaince shall not be made by Children
without supervision.
Children of less than 3 years should be
kept away unless continuously supervised.
Children aged from 3 years and less than 8
years shall only switch on/off the appliance
provided that it has been placed or installed
in its intended normal operating position
and they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understanding the hazards
involved. Children aged from 3 years and
less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate
and clan the appliance or perform user
maintaince.
The appliance must be positioned so that the
plug is accessible.
If the supply cord is damaged it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or service
agent or similarly qualied person in order
to avoid a hazard.
Caution: In order to avoid a hazard due to
inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out,
this appliance must not be supplied through
an external switching device, such as a timer,
or connected to a circuit that is regularly
switched on and off by the utility.
This heater is not equipped with a device
to control the room. Do not use this heater
in small rooms when they are occupied by
persons not capable of leaving the room on
their own, unless constant supervision is
provided.
The appliance must not to be located beneath
a socket outlet.

Do not place material or garments

carries the Warning symbol indicating that

General
Unpack the heater carefully and retain the packaging for possible
future use, in the event of moving or returning the re to your
supplier.
The re incorporates a ame effect, which can be used with or
without heating, so that the comforting effect may be enjoyed
at any time of the year. Using the ame effect on its own only
requires little electricity.
Before connecting the heater check that the supply voltage is
the same as that stated on the heater.
Please note: Used in an environment where background noise
is very low, it may be possible to hear a sound which is related
to the operation of the ame effect. This is normal and should
not be a cause for concern.
Electrical
WARNING – THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED
This heater must be used on an AC ~ supply only and the voltage
marked on the heater must correspond to the supply voltage.
Do not switch the appliance on until properly installed. Please
read all the safety warnings and operating instructions.
Wall xing - see Fig. 1
The appliance should be securely xed to the wall using the wall
plugs and screws supplied for block walls.
Note – for studded walls special fasteners are required, see
diagram for recommended position of xing screws.
Controls - see Fig. 2
Three switches provide a choice of heat settings. A switch is in
the ON position when the side with the markings on (i.e. ,I, or
II) is pushed in.
Switch 1 (I) Controls the electricity supply to the heater and
ame effect.
Note: This switch must be in the ON (I) position for heater to
operate with or without heat.
Switch 2 (I) Provides 1kW heat output.
Switch 3 (II) Provides 2kW output with switch 2.

Recycling
For electrical products sold within the European
Community. At the end of the electrical products
useful life it should not be disposed of with household
waste. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check
with your Local Authority or retailer for recycling
advice in your country.

Your product is guaranteed for one year from the date of
purchase.
Within this period, we undertake to repair or exchange this
product free of charge (excluding lamps & subject to availability)

Thermal Safety Cut-out
A thermal safety cut-out is incorporated in the heater to prevent
damage due to overheating. This can happen if the heat outlet
was restricted in any way. The heater will switch on once the
obstruction has been removed and the heater has cooled. If the
cut-out continues to operate intermittently, the heater should be
switched off and a service agent contacted.
Maintenance
WARNING: ALWAYS DISCONNECT FROM THE POWER
SUPPLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY MAINTENANCE.
Light Emitting Diode
This re is tted with LED (Light Emitting Diode) bulbs in place
of conventional bulbs. These generate the same light levels as
conventional bulbs, but use a fraction of the energy consumed.
These LED bulbs are maintenance-free and will not require
replacing during the life of the product.
Cleaning
WARNING – ALWAYS DISCONNECT FROM THE POWER
SUPPLY BEFORE CLEANING THE HEATER.
For general cleaning use a soft clean duster – never use abrasive
cleaners. The glass viewing screen should be cleaned carefully
with a soft cloth. DO NOT use proprietary glass cleaners.
To remove any accumulation of dust or uff the soft brush
attachment of a vacuum cleaner should occasionally be used
to clean the outlet grille of the fan heater.

Généralités
Déballer le chauffage avec précaution et conserver l'emballage
en cas d'utilisation ultérieure, tel qu'un déménagement ou le
renvoi du foyer à votre fournisseur.
Le foyer est à effet de amme, lequel peut être utilisé avec
ou sans chauffage, si bien que vous pouvez proter de cette
agréable fonction à tout moment de l'année. L'utilisation de l'effet
de amme seul consomme peu d'électricité.
Avant de connecter le chauffage, contrôler que la tension
d'alimentation est la même que celle indiquée sur le chauffage.
Veuillez noter ce qui suit : Si l'appareil est utilisé dans un endroit
silencieux, il est possible qu'un son soit audible, lié à l'utilisation
de l'effet de amme. Cela est normal et ne doit pas vous inquiéter.
Conguration électrique
AVERTISSEMENT : CET APPAREIL DOIT ÊTRE MIS
À LA TERRE
Ce chauffage doit être utilisé avec une alimentation CA
uniquement et la tension gurant sur celui-ci doit correspondre
à la tension d'alimentation.
Ne pas allumer l'appareil tant qu'il n'est pas correctement installé.
Merci de lire l'ensemble des avertissements de sécurité ainsi que
les instructions d'utilisation.

ATTENTION : Les normes Françaises ne permettent pas
d’utiliser en position xe murale un chauffage muni d’une
che de prise de courant.
Pour le montage mural, la che de prise de courant doit
être coupée du câble par une personne qualiée et vous
devez faire appel à un professionnel pour relier le câble
secteur à un réseau d’alimentation comportant un dispositif
de coupure de tous les pôles selon les normes en vigueur.
Un moyen de déconnexion doit être prévu dans les
canalisations xes conformément aux règles d’installation.
Cet appareil doit être xé au mur de façon sécurisée, à l'aide de
chevilles et de vis destinées aux murs en blocs.
Remarque : pour les murs à colombage, des xations spéciales
sont nécessaires ; voir le diagramme concernant la position de
xation des vis recommandée.

Recyclage
Pour les produits électriques vendus au sein de la Communauté
européenne. À la n de leur vie utile, les produits électriques
ne doivent pas être éliminés avec les déchets
ménagers. Merci de les recycler en utilisant les
infrastructures existantes. Consulter les autorités
locales ou votre revendeur concernant les méthodes
de recyclage dans votre pays.
Service après-vente
Cet appareil est garanti deux ans à partir de la date d’achat.

Commandes - voir Fig. 2
Trois interrupteurs permettent de régler différemment les
paramètres de chauffage. Un interrupteur est en position
MARCHE lorsque le côté marqué ( I, I, ou II) est enfoncé.
Interrupteur 1 (I) Contrôle l'alimentation électrique du chauffage
et de l'effet de amme.
Remarque : Cet interrupteur doit être en position MARCHE (I)
pour que le chauffage fonctionne, avec ou sans chaleur.
Interrupteur 2 (I) Fournit une chaleur de 1 kW.
Interrupteur 3 (II) Fournit une chaleur de 2 kW avec
l'interrupteur 2.
Protection thermique de sécurité
Une protection thermique de sécurité intégrée au chauffage,
pour éviter tout dommage dû à une surchauffe. Cela peut se
produire si la sortie de chaleur est obstruée de quelque manière
que ce soit. Le chauffage se rallumera dès qu'il n'y aura plus
d'obstruction et qu'il aura refroidi. Si la protection thermique
continue de fonctionner par intermittence, le chauffage doit être
éteint et un agent de maintenance doit être contacté.
Maintenance
AVERTISSEMENT : TOUJOURS DÉBRANCHER L'APPAREIL
DE L'ALIMENTATION AVANT DE PROCÉDER À UNE
OPÉRATION DE MAINTENANCE.
LED : DIODE ELECTROLUMINESCENTE
Cet appareil dispose d’ampoules LED, c’est-à-dire de diodes
électroluminescentes. Elles génèrent le même degré de lumière
que les ampoules conventionnelles, mais elles consomment
moins d’énergie. Ces ampoules ne demandent aucun entretien
et ne devront pas être remplacé durant toute la durée de vie
du produit.
Nettoyage
AVERTISSEMENT : TOUJOURS DÉBRANCHER LE
CHAUFFAGE DE L'ALIMENTATIONAVANT DE LE NETTOYER.
Pour le nettoyage courant, utiliser un plumeau doux et propre ;
ne jamais utiliser de produits abrasifs. La vitre doit être nettoyée
avec précaution, à l'aide d'un chiffon doux. NE PAS utiliser de
produits pour vitre.
Pour éliminer toute accumulation de poussière ou particules
pelucheuses, utiliser de temps en temps l'accessoire brosse
douce d'un aspirateur, pour nettoyer la grille du radiateur soufant.

DE - Garantie
Die nachstehenden Ausführungen über Umfang der Garantie, Garantiefristen und die Anmeldung von Garantieansprüchen gelten ausschließlich für die
Bundesrepublik eutschland.
Wir räumen dem Käufer nach seiner Wahl zusätzlich zu den ihm gegen den Verkäufer ausstehenden gesetzlichen Gewährleistungsansprüchen einen Anspruch nach Maßgabe
der nachfolgenden Garantieverpichtung ein:
I. Dauer und Beginn der Garantie
1. Grundsätzlich wird für jedes im Haushalt eingesetzte Gerät die auf der Garantiekarte ausgezeichnete Garantiezeit gewährt.
2. Bei gewerblicher Nutzung der von der Bauart her für den Haushalt bestimmten Geräte beträgt die Garantiezeit lediglich sechs Monate.
3 Die Garantie ist mit dem Zeitpunkt der Übergabe des Gerätes wirksam.
4. Bewahren Sie die vom Verkäufer ausgefüllte Garantie-Urkunde mit der Rechnung, dem Lieferschein oder einem anderen Kaufnachweis auf.
5. Durch Garantieleistungen tritt keine Verlängerung der ursprünglichen Garantiezeit ein.
6. Garantieansprüche können nur geltend gemacht werden, wenn die Mängelrüge innerhalb von 14 Tagen nach Entdeckung des Mangels schriftlich bei uns eingeht.
II. Inhalt und Unfang der Garantie
1. Ihr Gerät wird sorgfältig geprüft. Für den Fall, daß der Garantieanspruch zu Recht besteht, entscheiden wir, auf welche Art der Schaden behoben wer den soll / wird. Im
Reparaturfall sorgen wir für eine fachgerechte Ausführung.
2. Bei der Einsendung zur Reparatur sind Garantie-Urkunde und Kaufnachweis beizufügen.
3. Innerhalb der ersten sechs Monate erbringen wir die Garantieleistungen ohne Berechnung von Nebenkosten (Fahrt- und Wegzeitkosten, Fracht- und Verpackungskosten).
4. Darüber hinausgehende Ansprüche, insbesondere Schadenersatzansprüche, sind ausgeschlossen, soweit eine Haftung nicht gesetzlich angeordnet ist.
III. Einschränkungen der Garantie
1. Eine Garantie besteht nicht bei Fehlern oder Mängeln, die auf folgendes zurückzuführen sind:
a) Reparaturen und Abänderungen, die von nicht autorisierter dritter Stelle vorgenommen werden oder wurden;
b) äußere Einwirkungen, zum Beispiel Transportschäden, Beschädigungen durch Stoß oder Schlag, Schäden durch Witterungseinüsse oder sonstige Naturerscheinungen;
c) unsachgemäße / fehlerhafte Bedienung oder Beanspruchung;
d) Verwendung von ungeeigneten Reinigungsmitteln, Chemikalien usw.
2. Die Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf leicht zerbrechliche Teile, zum Beispiel Glas, Kunststoff, Glühlampen.
3. Geringfügige Änderungen gegenüber Prospekten oder Mustern oder früher gelieferter Ware gelten nicht als Mangel. Gleiches gilt bei lediglich geringfügigenAbweichungen
von der Sollbeschaffenheit, die für Wert- und Gebrauchstauglichkeit des Gerätes unerheblich ist.
4. Im Ausland gelten die von unserer jeweils zuständigen Landesvertretung herausgegebenen Garantiebedingungen.

Garantie-bedingungen. Einzelheiten
teilt Ihnen der Händler, bei dem Sie
das Gerät gekauft haben, auf Anfrage
jederzeit mit. Die Inanspruchnahme
von Garantie-leistungen setzt die
Vorlage des Kaufbeleges und die
Einhaltung der Garantiefrist voraus. Der
Garantieanspruch verfällt, wenn das Gerät
beschädigt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt
oder unbefugte Eingriffe vorgenommen
wurden.
