On y work with a fu y functiona , con-
nected vacuum dust extractor. If work is
done without using the dust extractor, the
construction cutter can become unserv-
iceab e within a short time.
Beware of any concea ed e ectric cab es,
gas or water conduits; check the working
area with a meta detector, for examp e.
S its in oad-bearing wa s are subject to
the standard DIN 1053 Part 1 or country-
specific regu ations. Be abso ute y sure to
consu t the structura engineer, architect
or site supervisor responsib e before
commencing work.
After comp eting the work, first raise the
power too from the work piece and then
switch it off.
Protect persons and combustib e objects
from f ying sparks.
Do not treat any materia s that produce
any partic es that are detrimenta to hea th
(e. g. asbestos).
Do not rivet or screw any name-p ates or
signs onto the power too . The protective
insu ation can thereby be rendered inef-
fective. Adhesive abe s are recom-
mended.
On y use an undamaged p ug and cab e.
Damage to property/material
The mains vo tage must correspond with
the vo tage specifications on the power
too .
ersonal protective equipment.
When using this power too wear the
fo owing protective items:
Protective g oves, protective g asses,
sturdy shoes, ear protection, apron,
dust-mask (if required).
Handling.
Switch on the power too before contact-
ing the work piece; conduct the cab e
away to the rear.
A ways work against the direction of rota-
tion so that the power too does not jump
out of the cut.
In order to guarantee optimum dust
extraction, guide the construction cutter
in a c ockwise direction from eft to right.
Only press the locking button (5) when the
machine is at a standstill.
Switching ON/OFF (1).
Risk of injury
Chec before commencing wor : Lift the pro-
tective guard to the fully open position and
then let it go. The protective guard should au-
tomatically return to its fully closed position.
■First check that the cab e and p ug are
not damaged.
Switching the power too ON:
■S ide switch (1) forwards ( ).
Switching the power too OFF:
■Press the switch (1) down at the
back (0).
When switching on, the motor starts run-
ning gent y after a short de ay.
If the power supp y is interrupted whi e
the power too is switched on, or the
power too is p ugged in when it is in
switched-on mode, a residua current
protective device prevents it from starting
to run automatica y. To put the power
too into operation, brief y switch it off
and on again.
