The Mifa e identifie data must be added th ough FERMAX MEET MANAGEMENT softwa e.

By means of thei WIEGAND connection (output) it is possible to integ ate this Mifa e eade in
thi d pa ty Access Cont ol Systems. It is also possible to integ ate thi d pa ty eade s using
WIEGAND p otocol with the KIN panel.

PROGRAMMING
SECTIONS
2WEB BROWSER PROGRAMMING
For programmi g of the KIN pa el, access is required through a PC via a web browser. Preferably use
Chrome browser.
The PC must be co ected to the same LAN as the pa el a d co figured with a IP address i the
same ra ge. The KIN pa el default IP address is 10.1.0.1.
Type the IP address of the pa el i the address bar of the browser. A ide tificatio form will appear.
The default ide tificatio data are:

2.2 GENERAL
The sectio GENERAL allows the co figuratio of the ide tificatio parameters of the KIN pa el
withi the i stallatio .
It allows time-date co figuratio .
TYPE: Select the ide tificatio parameters of the pa el. There are some other parameters
related, depe di g o TYPE selectio :

I the case of ALPHANUMERIC call, the available characters are A to H. The pa el will
co vert character A to 1, B to 2, etc. For example, dialling 80C, the called is 803.
BLOCK PANEL ENTRANCE

BRIGHTNESS: Set the bright ess value of the scree , 50, 100, 150, 200 a d 250 optio (default
250).
VOICE SYNTH：E ables or disables the speech whe door lock is released. If the speech is
disabled, o speech i the pa el will sou d whe the lock is released.
VIDEO RESOLUTION: I order to fit the differe t types of mo itors. The default value 640×480
SIP DIVERT MODE: This fu ctio is available for the device of sip call list. Please refer to SIP
sectio for further details.
oPARALLEL CALL: Whe the pa el calls the reside t, the mo itor a d the call divert
APP ri gs at the same time. O ce a termi al a swers, the call i the other o e stops
ri gi g.
oSEQUENTIAL CALL: Whe the pa el calls the reside t, the mo itor will ri g 30s. If o
a swer, the call divert APP or other associated devices will start to ri g.
SCREENSAVER: E able or disable scree saver of the pa el. The scree saver appears whe the
pa el is idle, a d obody is i fro t of it for 60 seco ds. The , a d after 3 mi utes, the pa el
tur s off for savi g e ergy.
The scree saver is customizable. Please co tact our Tech ical Departme t for details.
HELP: E able HELP ico at the pa el.

STANDBY INTERFACE: Sta dby i terface is optio al: CALL or HELP. O ly CALL if HELP fu ctio
is disable.
CONCIERGES: You ca select 0,1 or 2 i the dropdow optio s. There will be o CONCIERGE
ico if i the pa el the selected parameter is 0. Visitor ca call o e co cierge if you select 1.
Visitor ca call two co cierges if you select 2. .
The umber of co cierges ca be assig ed to each co cierge from 9901 to 9910, depe di g
o the i stallatio . I additio , a co cierge tag ca be added for descriptio , such as Lobby
Co cierge or SOS Co cierge call.
It is also possible to call other co cierges tha the o es i dicated i the pa el dialli g the
co cierge umber trough the keypad., as same as a call to a apartme t.
DATE FORMAT: Format to show the date i formatio i the scree .
DATE: Setti g date ma ually (See ote below).

TIME: Setti g time ma ually (See ote below).
TIME ZONE: Setti g the time zo e of pa el. Select local time zo e a d save.
DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME: Shall be e abled for DST periods a d disabled for wi tertime.
NOTES:
If the installation has FERMAX MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE, the date and time of panel will
synch onize automatically with the management softwa e. If the panel has access to inte net, the
date and time of panel will also synch onize with inte net time se ve .
If the installation has no FERMAX MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE the installe can set date, time and
time zone manually. Do not use the GMT (TIME ZONE) adjustment in this case. GMT is usable only
when the time is automatically taken f om inte net o FERMAX MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE.
Date and time cannot be saved afte powe loss, unless the e we e inte net o management
softwa e in the installation. Howeve , the time zone, date fo mat and daylight-saving time can be
saved anyway.
Pay attention to the SAVE button elated to panel settings o date/time settings since a e diffe ent
and independent.
2.3 NETWORK CONFIGURATION
Allows the co figuratio of the differe t parameters of the LAN etwork
IP: IP address to be assig ed to this pa el.
MASK: Sub et mask correspo di g to the LAN
GATEWAY: LAN gateway
DNS: DNS server address. I case of doubt, we recomme d usi g the default value 8.8.8.8.
SOFTWARE IP: IP address of the PC where the MEET Ma ageme t Software is i stalled (if a y).

SOFTWARE PIN: PIN ACCESS code for the Ma ageme t Software co trol. The default setti g
is 123456. I dicate the correspo di g parameters a d click SAVE to co firm.
NOTE:
The MEET system uses static IP add essing. This ensu es that each device has a unique IP add ess
in the same installation.
If a device has an IP add ess al eady assigned to anothe device on the netwo k, an "IP CONFLICT"
p ompt will appea in the panel sc een, along with the MAC of the conflicting device.
Both devices will not wo k p ope ly until this issue is esolved.
2.4 ACCESS
This sectio allows some programmi g related to the access co trol fu ctio ality of the pa el.
DOOR RELAY TIME: Time for lock-release relay remai s active (1-9 s optio al).
OPEN DOOR DELAY: The time that the ope -door comma d has be se t a d the relay is ot
activated. The relay will active after the DOOR DELAY TIME be set, Ope door relay is useful
whe the door is ot close the pa el. (optio 0-9 s)
DOOR OPEN ALARM: A alarm will trigger if the door keeps ope ed after the programmed
DOOR ALARM time. Optio s: disable, 30s. 60s. 120s, 180s a d 250s.

DOOR FORCED ALARM: A alarm will trigger if a ab ormal way to ope the door has bee
detected, for example because there has ot bee a y previous “ope the door” comma d.
EXTERNAL RELEASE: O ly available i pa el programmed as PANEL 1. It activates or
deactivates the additio al relay performa ce.
A module Ref. 1491 (4 relay module) must be co ected to the RS485 port of the pa el No.1.
See INSTALLATION sectio for further details.
o1-4 DOOR RELAY TIME: Time that the correspo di g additio al door relay keeps
active (1-9s optio al).
o1-4 OPEN DOOR DELAY: The time that the ope -door comma d has be se t a d the
relay is ot activated. The relay will active after the DOOR DELAY TIME be set. Ope
door relay is useful whe the door is ot close the pa el. (optio 0-9 s).
ADMIN CARD: Admi /master card ID registered to e rol additio al prox cards. This optio is
useful whe there is ot MEET MAGEMENT SOFTWARE available.
Whe there is o ma ageme t software, e ter 0000 if you do ot k ow the ID of the admi
card. The first MIFARE prox card detected by the reader will act as admi /master card.
The card of the reside ts ca be added afterwards.
To program user cards, prese t the admi /master card previously created o the card reader.
The pa el will e ter i cards program mode. All the cards prese ted from ow o will
automatically updated i the pa el a d may be used to ope the door.
If there are ot more cards to program, after two mi utes the pa el will exit program mode.
There is ot possible to deregister cards programmed by this method. Use the FERMAX MEET
MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE for full operatio al possibilities.
DISARM BY CARD: Whe a already programmed user card is prese ted to the reader, a d it
has bee previously assig ed to a mo itor, the alarm system of the correspo di g apartme t
will cha ge to HOME mode.
GUEST CODE: Guest code fu ctio ca be e abled or disabled. The pa el eeds to be
co ected with a module Ref. 1494 to a third-party Access Co trol System. See INSTALLATION
sectio .
WIEGAND Protocol used for Wiega d tra smissio (BURST or 26 BITS). E ter available
parameter depe di g o the third-party Access Co trol System
FACILITY: E ter available parameter depe di g o the third-party Access Co trol System.
ACCESS PIN: To e able or disable the activatio of the relay for ACCES PIN code.
UP to 8 differe t PIN codes per pa el. PIN le gth betwee 4 to 6 digits.

2.5 FACE RECOGNITION
Use this setti g to e able or disable the FACE RECONGNITION fu ctio of the pa el.
The FERMAX MANAGEMENT SOFTVARE V01.05 is required for programmi g a d ma agi g the
photos of the authorized faces. System supports up to 6.000 faces
FACE RECOGNITION: E able or disabled face recog itio fu ctio .
MODEL: Default 5.0 i this versio .
LIVENESS DETECTION: E able or disabled LIVENESS DETECTION fu ctio .
SIMILARITY: High, medium a d low optio s. Default is low.
NOTES:
MEET panel face ecognition function is based on a bidimensional face identification, with the
ability of diffe entiating among photos o live faces in ce tain conditions.
This technology can be used to open doo s but cannot gua antee the highest secu ity level o 100%
accu acy of liveness detection.
If face ecognition is enabled, RTSP video st eaming will not be available.

2.6 IP CAMERA
The mo itor ca switch to IP CCTV camera video duri g a co versatio . This fu ctio allows to
co figure IP CCTV cameras usi g RTSP protocol to be displayed as a auxiliary camera to provide
differe t view a gles from the door or related areas
NUMBER OF CAMS: Select up to 4 differe t cameras.

Depending on the brand/model of camera, other URL different than the one above
would be required. Check the IP camera technical documentation.

2.7 SIP
This optio allows to co figure KIN pa el to use SIP fu ctio alities, such us smartpho e divert usi g
the FERMAX MEET ME APP or allows the pa el to operate with a third party SIP systems or termi als
usi g SIP protocol i stead of FERMAX MEET protocol.

FERMAX MEET ME server is used.

Configu ation fo SIP se ve integ ation
Co figure the SIP parameters as explai ed below, for the cases where the KIN pa el works as a
exte sio of a SIP server.
Co tact with the SIP server admi istrator to get some of the i formatio required i this sectio .
ENABLE SIP: Select this box to e able SIP fu ctio s.
SIP SERVER: I dicate the sip SERVER address. Format -> sip: IP_SERVER
DOMAIN: domai of the SIP server or IP address
OUTBOUND: Not ecessary. Leave it i bla k.
STUN IP: domai of the SIP server
STUN PORT: Used for the co figuratio of I ter et SIP server-based i stallatio s. It is usually
port 5060. Check with your etwork or SIP server admi istrator.
H.264: Depe ds o the SIP SERVER. I the case of doubt, leave the default value.
SIP USER, SIP PASSWORD: I dicate the user a d password that this termi al is programmed
i the SIP server.

2.8 SIP TRUNK
Whe there is a VoIP gateway i stalled o the etwork co ected to a PSTN li e or cloud SIP TRUNK
SERVER.
The pa el call ca be diverted to user's mobile pho e or la d li e telepho e through a voice gateway.

2. SIP CALL
This optio allows to ge erate calls to smartpho e devices i the cases where it is ot a MEET mo itor
associated i the i stallatio . A FERMAX MEET ME lice ce Ref. 1496 is required for each apartme t
The call ca be received, simulta eously, i 8 smartpho es i the same apartme t.
Furthermore, it is also possible, to ge erate simulta eous calls to several devices MEET a d/or third-
party SIP devices as well, usi g SIP protocol i stead of FERMAX MEET protocol.
A .CSV file co tai i g the associated umber a d the i formatio of the diverted device or devices
must be updated i the pa el.
The operatio procedure to ge erate a d update the .CSV file is as follow:
1. Select EXPORT to ge erate a bla k .CSV table, a save it i your PC.
Re ame this table as your choice or leave the default ame (MEET CALL DIVERT PXXX-YY.csv),
where XXX is the BLOCK NUMBER a d YY is the device umber assig ed to this pa el).
2. Use Microsoft Excel to ope the created file. It will look like:

server IP address.
d. It is also possible to assig multiple a d differe t divert formats to the same
apartme t (for example a call to a third-party SIP device a d a smartpho e device as
well).
Use the correspo di g format explai ed above, usi g the same row but differe t
colum for each format. See example below.
5. O ce the table has bee fi ished, save it a d import to the pa el. For this, click o “Choose
file”, select the file to import a d click o IMPORT butto .
Wait for a few seco ds u til a pop up message “UPLOAD SUCCESS” appears.

2.10 ADVANCED
Some adva ced setti gs, such as quick dial a d directory, ca be selected i this sectio .
QUICK DIAL: Whe the pa el is worki g i 1WAY PANEL mode, it is possible to use the call
pushbutto i the pa el to directly call to a specific device (mo itor, SIP telepho e,
smartpho e ru i g FERMAX MEET ME APP )

ONU (GPON): Used i large i stallatio s based o SIP protocol (GPON) a d i combi atio with

DIRECTORY: KIN pa el allows to use a directory for calli g the te a ts. Visitors ca select the
te a t ame from this directory a d call directly without k owi g the apartme t umber.
A .CSV table with the ame of the te a ts a d apartme t umbers shall be created.
The operatio procedure to ge erate a d update the .CSV file is as follow:
1. Select EXPORT to ge erate a bla k .CSV table, a save it i your PC.
Re ame this table as your choice or leave the default ame agenda.csv.
