1 BenutzerhinweiseDeutsch
Die Feldbus-Baugruppe Typ SPC200-COM-CAN dient be-
stimmungsgemäß zur Ankopplung des SPC200 an Device-
Net. Mit dieser Feldbus-Baugruppe kann der SPC200 als
Slave am entsprechenden Feldbus betrieben werden. Zur
komfortablen Inbetriebnahme eines SPC200 mit integrier-
ter Feldbus-Baugruppe ist das Software-Paket WinPISA ab
Version 4.1 erforderlich. Ausführliche Informationen zur
Feldbus-Baugruppe finden Sie in der Beschreibung
P.BE-SPC200-COM-CAN...-... .
Vorsicht
Beachten Sie unbedingt die dort aufgeführten:
– Sicherheitstechnischen Hinweise
– den bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch der jeweiligen
Baugruppen und Module.
Warnung
Aktoren können ungewollt aktiviert und der SPC200
beschädigt werden, wenn Baugruppen bei eingeschal-
teter Spannungsversorgung hinzugefügt oder entfernt
werden. Schalten Sie vor Installations- und Wartungs-
arbeiten folgende Energiequellen in folgender Reihen-
folge ab:
1. Druckluftversorgung
2. Lastversorgung und Betriebsspannungsversorgung
des SPC200.

2 Aus- und Einbau von Baugruppen
Warnung
Unsachgemäße Handhabung kann zur Beschädigung
der Baugruppen führen.
SBerühren Sie keine Bauelemente.
SBeachten Sie die Handhabungsvorschriften für elek-
trostatisch gefährdete Bauelemente.
SEntladen Sie sich vor dem Ein- oder Ausbau von
Baugruppen elektrostatisch, zum Schutz der Bau-
gruppen vor Entladung statischer Elektrizität.
Die Feldbus-Baugruppe können Sie beliebig in den Steck-
plätzen 2 bis 6 installieren. Wird die Feldbus-Baugruppe
neben die Diagnose-Baugruppe installiert, kann kein Be-
dienfeld aufgesteckt werden, solange das Feldbuskabel
aufgesteckt ist. Es darf nur eine Feldbus-Baugruppe instal-
liert werden. Alle E/As installierter E/A-Baugruppen sind
frei programmierbar.
Baugruppen ausbauen
1. Druckluftversorgung und Betriebsspannung abschal-
ten.
2. Anschlusskabel auf der Baugruppenfront lösen und
abziehen.
3. Beide Sicherungshebel durch Verschieben entriegeln
(siehe folgendes Bild).

4. Baugruppe an der Frontplatte fassen und hinaus-
ziehen.
5. Ggf. freibleibende Steckplätze mit Blindplatten
verschließen.

Baugruppen einbauen
1. Druckluftversorgung und Betriebsspannungsversor-
gung abschalten.
2. Ggf. Sicherungshebel entriegeln und Blindplatte ent-
fernen.
3. Baugruppe an der Frontplatte fassen und in die Füh-
rungsschiene einschieben. Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie
die Baugruppe beim Einschieben nicht verkanten und
keine Bauteile auf der Leiterplatte beschädigt werden.
4. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Stecker der Messerleisten
richtig aufeinander liegen. Schieben Sie die Bau-
gruppe dann mit leichtem Druck vollständig ein.
Daraufhin verriegeln die Sicherungshebel selbsttätig
(siehe Bild).

3 Installation
Anschließen an den Feldbus
Verwenden Sie als Feldbusleitung eine verdrillte, ge-
schirmte 4-Drahtleitung. Über die Feldbusleitung wird die
Busschnittstelle und die interne Logik der Feldbus-Bau-
gruppe versorgt.

Hinweis
SEntnehmen Sie den Kabeltyp unbedingt dem SPS-
Handbuch bzw. dem Handbuch zu Ihrer Anschal-
tung/Scanner. Berücksichtigen Sie dabei die
Entfernung und die gewählte Baudrate.
SWählen Sie die entsprechenden Leitungsquer-
schnitte.
Beachten Sie den Spannungsabfall auf der Versor-
gungsleitung für die Busschnittstelle und der
internen Logik.
Vorsicht
SBeachten Sie die Polung beim Anschließen der
Feldbusschnittstelle und der Spannungsversor-
gung der Busschnittstelle/internen Logik.
SSchließen Sie den Schirm an.
Befindet sich der SPC200 am Ende des Feldbusses, ist
zwischen die Adern Data + (Pin 4) und Data - (Pin 2) des
Feldbussteckers ein Abschlusswiderstand (120 Ohm, 0,25
Watt) zu installieren. Verwenden Sie T-Adapter, so emp-
fiehlt es sich, den Abschlusswiderstand am freien Ausgang
des T-Adapters zu installieren.

4 Inbetriebnahmehinweise
Die Feldbus-Adresse des SPC200 können Sie mit dem Soft-
ware-Paket WinPISA (ab Version 4.1) oder dem Bedienfeld
einstellen.
Der SPC200 kommuniziert mit dem Master über ein E/A-
Feld (interne Ein-/Ausgänge). Die zulässige Anzahl der
konfigurierbaren Ein- und Ausgänge ist von der genutzten
Betriebsart des SPC200 abhängig (max. 8 Byte Eingänge
und 8 Byte Ausgänge). Die folgende Tabelle gibt einen
Überblick:

5.1 Anzeige der Mod-/Net-LED
Die Bi-Color-LED auf der Feldbus-Baugruppe ermöglicht
eine Schnell-Diagnose über den Kommunikationszustand
vor Ort. Die Fehlermeldungen des SPC200 lassen sich über
die Bit Strobed I/O Message Connection übertragen (siehe
Beschreibung).

1 Notes on useEnglish
The field bus module type SPC200-COM-CAN has been
designed for coupling the SPC200 to the DeviceNet. With
this field bus module the SPC200 can be operated as a
slave on the relevant field bus. For user-friendly commis-
sioning of an SPC200 with the integrated field bus module,
you will require the WinPISA software package as from
version 4.1. Detailed information on the field bus module
can be found in the manual P.BE-SPC200-COM-CAN...-... .
Caution
Pay strict attention to the following instructions in the
manual:
– The safety guidelines
– The designated use of the individual components
and modules.
Warning
Actuators can be unintentionally activated and the
SPC200 can be damaged if components are added or
removed when the power supply is switched on. Before
undertaking installation and/or maintenance work,
switch off the following sources of power in the se-
quence specified:
1. The compressed air supply
2. The load voltage and operating voltage for the
SPC200.

2 Fitting and removing components
Warning
Incorrect handling may result in damage to the compo-
nents.
SDo not therefore touch any contacts.
SPlease observe the regulations for handling electros-
tatically sensitive components.
SDischarge yourself electrostatically before fitting or
removing components, in order to protect the compo-
nents against discharges of static electricity.
The field bus module can be fitted in any of the locations 2
to 6. If the field bus module is fitted next to the diagnosis
module, a control panel cannot be fitted because of the
connected field bus cable. Only one field bus module may
be fitted. All the I/Os of the fitted I/O modules can be pro-
grammed as desired.
Removing the modules
1. Switch off the compressed air supply and operating
voltage.
2. Disconnect and remove the connecting cable on the
front of the module.
3. Unlock both locking levers by pushing them (see fol-
lowing diagram).

4. Hold the module on the front plate and pull it out.
5. If applicable, seal unused locations with blank plates.

Fitting the modules
1. Switch off the compressed air supply and operating
voltage.
2. If applicable, unlock the locking lever and remove the
blanking plate.
3. Hold the module by the front plate and push it into the
guide rail. Make sure that the module is not tilted
when it is pushed in and that no components on the
printed circuit board are damaged.
4. Make sure that the plugs of the multi connector strip
are inserted correctly. Then gently press in the module
completely. The locking levers will then lock automati-
cally (see diagram).

3 Installation
Connecting to the field bus
Use a twisted screened 4-core cable for the field bus. The
bus interface and the internal logic of the field bus module
are supplied with power via the field bus cable.

Please note
SPlease refer to the PLC manual or the manual for your
module /scanner for the correct type of cable. Take
into account the distance and the baud rate selected.
SSelect the appropriate cable cross-sectional area.
Note the voltage drop in the supply line for the bus
interface and the internal logic.
Caution
SMake sure of the correct polarity when connecting
the field bus interface and the power supply for the
bus interface/logic.
SConnect the screening.
If the SPC200 is at the end of the field bus, a terminating
resistor (120 Ohm, 0.25 Watt) must be fitted between the
cores Data + (pin 4) and Data - (pin 2) of the field bus plug.
If you are using T-adapters, we recommend that you fit the
terminating resistor on the unused output of the T-adapter.

4 Instructions on commissioning
You can set the field bus address of the SPC200 with the
WinPISA software package (as from version 4.1) or with
the control panel.
The SPC200 communicates with the master via an I/O field
(internal inputs/outputs). The permitted number of confi-
gurable inputs and outputs depends on the operating
mode of the SPC200 used (max. 8-byte inputs and 8-byte
outputs). This is summarized in the table below.

5 Diagnosis
5.1 Display on the Mod/Net LED
The two-coloured LED on the field bus module enables
speedy on-the-spot diagnosis of the state of communica-
tion. The error messages of the SPC200 can be transmitted
via the bit Strobed I/O Message Connection (see manual).
