2 Funktion und Anwendung
Die geschütze Führung der Linearachse DG..−/FDG−/DMES−...−GA bedeckt alle Pro
filhinterschneidungen der Linearachsenführung. Sie bietet eine glatte, reinigungs
freundliche Oberfläche. Das Abdeckprofil schützt die Führung gegen herabfallende
Partikel.
Sie dient bestimmungsgemäß als Variantenelement ab Werk an Linearachsen des
Typs DGE(L)−...−KF, DGP(L)−..., DGPI(L)−..., FDG−... und DMES−.... Sie ist nicht vorge
sehen für Linearachsen des Typs DGE−...−RF.
3 Voraussetzungen für den Produkteinsatz
Hinweis
SStellen Sie sicher, dass die Punkte dieses Kapitels immer eingehalten
werden.
Dies macht das Produktverhalten ordnungsgemäß und sicher.
SVergleichen Sie die Grenzwerte in dieser Bedienungsanleitung mit Ihrem
aktuellen Einsatzfall (z.B. Käfte, Frequenzen, Massen, Temperaturen,
Geschwindigkeiten).
Nur die Einhaltung der Belastungsgrenzen ermöglicht ein Betreiben des
Artikels gemäß der einschlägigen Sicherheitsrichtlinien.
SBerücksichtigen Sie die Umgebungs−
bedingungen vor Ort.
Korrosive Umbebungen beeinträchtigen
die Lebensdauer Ihres Produkts.
SBeachten Sie die Vorschriften für Ihren

4 Einbau
SPlatzieren Sie die Linearachse mit ausrei
chendem Freiraum f und g zu den Umge
bungskonturen.
Sonst kann das Abdeckprofil nicht abmon
tiert werden und behindert im Wartungs
fall den Zugang zu den relevanten Stellen.
Das bedeutet, dass die komplette Achse
zu Wartungszwecken ausgebaut werden
muss.

SPlatzieren Sie die Führungsschiene 5
immer nach oben (siehe Kapitel Techni
sche Daten").
Um das zu ermöglichen, besitzt der Läufer
zwei identisch ausgeführte Schnittstellen
zur Lastanbindung.
Nur die horizontale Ausrichtung der
DG..−/FDG−/DMES−...−GA schützt die
Führungsschiene zuverlässig gegen
Eindringen von Schmutz.
Gegen aufwirbelnde Schmutzpartikel
bietet die DG..−/FDG−/DMES−...−GA
keinen Schutz.
SPrüfen Sie, ob Stoßdämpferhalterungen
für kürzere Hübe als den Nennhub benö
tigt werden.
Zum Anbau von Stoßdämpferhalterungen,
TypKYP−...:
SDemontieren Sie das Abdeckprofil folgendermaßen:

 Läufer 4und Abdeckprofil 1reinigen
(siehe Kapitel Wartung und Pflege").
 Halteschrauben 3herausdrehen.
 Bürstenabstreifer 2demontieren.
 Abdeckprofil 1herausziehen.
 Stoßdämpferhalter Typ KYP−... gemäß
deren Bedienungsanleitung montieren.
Zur Wiedermontage:
SMontieren Sie das Abdeckprofil folgendermaßen:
 Abdeckprofil 1einschieben.
 Halteschrauben 3festdrehen.
 Bürstenabstreifer 2montieren (Anziehdrehmomente siehe Bild 9).
Bei Verwendung von Stoßdämpfern direkt im Profilhalter 6:
SVerwenden Sie ausschließlich den
Bausatz gemäß Kapitel Zubehör".
Nur dieser enthält die Einschraub
elemente für den korrekten Einbau
des Stoßdämpfers.
5 Inbetriebnahme
Hinweis
Bereits ab Werk montierte geschützte Führungen bedürfen keiner Nacharbeit.
SLassen Sie die Schrauben und Stellteile unverändert, für die es keine
ausdrückliche Aufforderung dazu in dieser Bedienungsanleitung gibt.
SEntfernen Sie die Abdeckvorrichtungen an
der zur Lastbefestigung vorgesehenen
Läuferfläche folgendermaßen:
 Bürstenabstreifer 2demontieren.
 Nutabdeckung aJ herausschieben.
 Bürstenabstreifer wieder montieren.
 Abdeckkappen 9herausheben
(nurbei benötigten Bohrungen).

6 Wartung und Pflege
SFetten Sie die Wälzlagerkassetten des
Schlittens in Intervallen gemäß der
Bedienungsleitung Ihrer Linearachse.
Zur Freilegung der Schmiernippel aA:
SVollziehen Sie den Abbau des Abdeckpro
fils wie im Kapitel Einbau" beschrieben.
SReinigen Sie die DG..−/FDG−/DMES−...−GA
ausschließlich mit Wasser (max. 60 °C).
7 Ausbau und Reparatur
Zum Tausch stark beanspruchter Teile:
SBestellen Sie einen Verschleißteilsatz (für die geschützte Führung).

2 Method of operation and use
The protected guide of linear axis DG..−/FDG−/DMES−...−GA covers all profile under
cuts of the linear axis guide. It offers a smooth easy−to−clean surface. The cover
profile protects the guide against dirt particles falling down onto the axis.
The protected guide has been designed as a factory−supplied variant element for
linear axes types DGE(L)−...−KF, DGP(L)−..., DGPI(L)−..., FDG−... and DMES−.... It is
not intended for linear axes of type DGE−...−RF.
3 Conditions of use
Please note
SMake sure that the specifications in this chapter are always observed.
The product will then function correctly and reliably.
SCompare the maximum values in these operating instructions with your actual
application (e.g. forces, frequencies, masses, speeds, temperatures).
Only if the loading limits are observed can the device be operated in accord
ance with the relevant safety guidelines.
STake the ambient conditions at the
location into consideration.
Corrosive environments will impair
the service life of the product.
SPlease observe the regulations appli
cable to the place of use and comply
with national and local regulations.
SUse the product in its original state. Unauthorized modification is not
permitted.

SPlace the linear axis with sufficient space f
and g from other machines etc.
Otherwise the cover profile cannot be
removed and will impede access to the
relevant parts for maintenance. This
means that in such cases the complete
axis would have to be dismantled for
maintenance purposes.

SAlways place the guide rail 5upwards
(see chapter Technical specifications").
In order to make this possible, the slide
has two identical interfaces for fastening
a load.
Only if the DG..−/FDG−/DMES−...−GA is
positioned horizontally, will the guide
rail reliably prevent dirt from entering.
The DG..−/FDG−/DMES−...−GA does not
offer protection against dust particles
whirled up.
SCheck whether shock absorber supports
are required for strokes shorter than the
rated stroke.
Fitting shock absorber supports, type KYP−...:
SDismantle the cover profile as follows:

 Clean the slide 4and the cover profile
1(see chap. Care and maintenance").
 Remove the support screws 3.
 Dismantle the brush wiper 2.
 Pull out the cover profile 1.
 Fit the shock absorber support type
KYP−... in accordance with the operat
ing instructions.
When refitting:
SFit the cover profile as follows:
 Push in the cover profile 1.
 Tighten the support screws 3.
 Fit the brush wiper 2(tightening torque see Fig. 9).
Using shock absorbers directly in the profile support 6:
SUse only the assembly kit in accordance
with the chapter Accessories".
Only this contains the screw−in elements
for the correct fitting of the shock absorber.
5 Commissioning
Please note
Protected guides which have already been fitted at the factory do not require
subsequent adjustment.
SDo not modify the settings of screws and adjusting elements if there is no
direct request to do this in these operating instructions.
SRemove the cover devices from the slide
surface intended for fastening the load as
follows:
 Dismantle the brush wiper 2.
 Push out the groove cover aJ.
 Fit the brush wiper again
 Lift out the cover caps 9
(only if holes are required).

6 Care and maintenance
SLubricate the roller bearing cassettes of
the slide at intervals as specified in the
operating instructions for the linear axis.
Access to the lubricating nipple aA:
SRemove the cover profile as described in
the chapter Fitting".
SClean the DG..−/FDG−/DMES−...−GA only
with water (max. 60 °C).
7 Dismantling and repairs
Replacing heavily worn parts:
SOrder a wearing parts kit for the protected guide.

2 Método de funcionamiento y uso
La protección del eje lineal DG..−/FDG−/DMES−...−GA cubre todas las hendiduras de
la guía de eje lineal. Proporciona una superficie lisa y fácil de limpiar. El perfil de
cubierta protege la guía contra la caída de partículas de suciedad que pudieran
caer en el eje.
La protección ha sido diseñada como elemento variante suministrado de fábrica
para ejes lineales tipos DGE(L)−...−KF, DGP(L)−..., DGPI(L)−..., FDG−... y DMES−....
No está prevista para ejes lineales del tipo DGE−...−RF.
3 Condiciones de utilización
Por favor, observar
SDeben observarse en todo momento las instrucciones dadas en este capítulo.
Con ello, el producto funcionará de forma correcta y fiable.
SCompare los valores máximos especificados en estas instrucciones de funcio
namiento con su aplicación actual (p. ej. fuerzas, frecuencias, masas, velocida
des, temperaturas).
El producto sólo puede hacerse funcionar si se observan los límites de carga
de acuerdo con las directrices de seguridad correspondientes.
STenga en cuenta las condiciones ambien
tales del lugar de utilización.
Un entorno corrosivo reducirá la vida útil
del producto.
SPor favor, observe las normas aplicables
en el lugar de uso y cumpla con los están
dares nacionales y locales.
SUtilice el producto en su estado original. No se permiten modificaciones no
autorizadas.

SColoque el eje lineal con suficiente espa
cio f y g de otras máquinas, etc.
De lo contrario el perfil de cubierta no
podrá retirarse e impedirá el acceso a las
correspondientes piezas para manteni
miento. Esto significa que en tales casos,
todo el eje deberá ser desmontado con
fines de mantenimiento.

SColocar siempre el raíl de guía 5mirando
hacia arriba (véase el capítulo Especifica
ciones Técnicas").
Para que esto sea posible, la corredera
tiene dos interfaces idénticos para fijar
una carga.
Sólo si el DG..−/FDG−/DMES−...−GA se
monta horizontalmente, será efectiva la
protección ante la entrada de suciedad.
El DG..−/FDG−/DMES−...−GA no ofrece
protección contra las partículas de polvo
arremolinadas.
SVerifique si se necesitan soportes de
amortiguador para carreras más cortas
que la carrera nominal.
Montaje de soportes de amortiguador
tipoKYP−...:
SDesmonte el perfil tapa como sigue:
 Limpie la corredera 4y la sección de
perfil tapa 1(véase sección Cuidados y mantenimiento").

 Retire los tornillos de soporte 3.
 Retire el cepillo rascador 2.
 Extraiga el perfil tapa 1.
 Monte el soporte del amortiguador
tipo KYP−... de acuerdo con las
instrucciones de funcionamiento.
Si se monta posteriormente:
SMonte el perfil tapa como sigue:
 Empuje el perfil tapa 1.
 Apriete los tornillos de soporte 3.
 Monte el cepillo rascador 2(par de apriete, véase Fig. 9).
Utilizando amortiguadores directamente en el soporte del perfil 6:
SUtilice sólo el kit de montaje según el
capítulo Accesorios".
Sólo este contiene los elementos de
atornillado para el montaje correcto del
amortiguador.
5 Puesta a punto
Por favor, observar
Las protecciones que han sido montadas en fábrica no requieren ajustes
posteriores.
SNo modifique los ajustes de los tornillos ni pasadores roscados si no se
indica explícitamente en estas instrucciones de funcionamiento.
SRetire los dispositivos de tapa de la
superficie de la corredera previstos
para fijar la carga como sigue:
 Retire el cepillo rascador 2.
 Saque la tapa de la ranura aJ.
 Monte ce nuevo el cepillo rascador.
 Levanta las tapas de cubierta 9
(sólo si se necesitan agujeros).

6 Cuidados y mantenimiento
SEngrasar las jaulas de rodamientos a
bolas de la corredera a los intervalos
especificados en las instrucciones de
funcionamiento del eje lineal.
Acceso a la boquilla de lubricación aA:
SRetire el perfil tapa como se describe
en la sección Montaje".
SLimpiar DG..−/FDG−/DMES−...−GA sólo
con agua (máx. 60 °C).
7 Desmontaje y reparaciones
Reemplazar las piezas desgastadas:
