Battery Tips
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix different types of batter-
ies: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc)
or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).
• Remove the batteries during long
periods of non-use. Always remove
exhausted batteries from the toy.
Battery leakage and corrosion can
damage this toy. Dispose of batter-
ies safely.
• Do not dispose of batteries in a fire.
The batteries may explode or leak.
• Never short circuit the battery
terminals.
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not
to be recharged.
• Only batteries of the same or
equivalent type as recommended in
the "Battery Replacement" instruc-
tions are to be used.
• If removable rechargeable batteries
are used, they are only to be
charged under adult supervision.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be
removed from the toy before they
are charged.
• If you use a battery charger, it
should be examined regularly for
damage to the cord, plug, enclosure
and other parts. Do not use a dam-
aged battery charger until it has
been properly repaired.

Battery Compartment Door
For best performance, we recommend replacing the batteries that
came with this toy with three, new alkaline "AA" (LR6) batteries.
• Locate the battery compartment
on the bottom of the toy.
• Loosen the screws in the battery
compartment door with a Phillips
screwdriver. Remove the battery
compartment door.
• Insert three "AA" (LR6) alkaline
batteries, as indicated inside the
battery compartment.
Hint: We recommend using alkaline
batteries for longer battery life.
• Replace the battery compartment
door and tighten the screws with
a Phillips screwdriver. Do not
over-tighten.
• When sounds or lights from
this toy become faint or stop,
it’s time for an adult to change
the batteries!

• Place the base on a flat surface
as shown.
• Insert the tapered end of the bar
into the large opening in the base
as shown.

• Turn the assembly over and insert
the #6 x 2 1/2" shoulder screw
through the hole in the base and
into the bar. Tighten the screw
with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not
over-tighten.

• Insert and "snap" the tabs on each
of the three legs into the slots in the
base as shown.

• Insert and "snap" the handles into
the keyboard as shown.

• Press and "snap" the slots in the
bottom of the keyboard onto the
tabs on the legs.

• Place the groove in seat bottom
onto the bar as shown.
Note: The seat will fit in two
positions. Adjust the seat forward or
back, to your child’s comfort.
One time assembly is now complete.
• Turn the seat assembly over and
insert the two #6 x 3/8" screws
through the holes in the seat
bottom. Tighten the screws with
a Phillips screwdriver. Do not
over-tighten.
• Fit the seat top onto the seat
bottom as shown.

The toy has three different ways
to play.
Rock & Play – When baby rocks
the toy, a song will play with
dancing lights. You can also hear
a song by tapping a key.
Build-a-Song – Press the keys
or rock to hear part of a song.
Press or rock again to hear more.
Freeplay – Press the keys to
play your own songs, just like a
real piano.
• Locate the volume switch on under-
side of the keyboard.
• Adjust volume to low or high
for your child’s comfort.
