• Open the fasteners on the bottom of the toy
and remove the sound unit.
• Loosen the screw in the battery compartment
door with a Phillips screwdriver. Remove
the door.
• Remove the exhausted batteries and dispose
of them properly.
• Insert two, new AAA (LR03) alkaline batteries.
• Replace the battery compartment door and
tighten the screw. Do not over-tighten.
Replace Batteries and Turn Power On
In exceptional circumstances, batteries may
leak fluids that can cause a chemical burn
injury or ruin your product. To avoid
battery leakage:
• Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries
of different types: alkaline, standard (carbon-
zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).
• Insert batteries as indicated inside the
battery compartment.
• Remove batteries during long periods of
non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries
from the product. Dispose of batteries safely.
Do not dispose of this product in a fire. The
batteries inside may explode or leak.
• Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent
type, as recommended.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the
product before charging.
• If removable, rechargeable batteries are
used, they are only to be charged under
adult supervision.

• The toy is machine washable without the
sound unit. Do not immerse sound unit.
• To remove the sound unit, open the
fasteners on the bottom of the toy and
pull to remove.
• Machine wash this toy in cold water with
a mild detergent on the gentle cycle. Do
not use bleach. Tumble dry on low heat.
• Replace the sound unit back inside the
toy. Open the fasteners on the bottom of
the toy and fit the sound unit inside with
the button facing the front of the toy.
Close the fasteners.
• Slide the power/volume switch, on the back
of the electronics box, to ON with low
volume , ON with high volume or
OFF .
• Replace the sound box back inside the toy.
Make sure the button is facing the front of
the toy.
• Close the fasteners.
• If this toy begins to operate erratically, you
may need to reset the electronics. Slide the
power/volume switch off and back on.
• When the sounds from this toy become faint
or stop, it’s time for an adult to change
the batteries.

squeeze monster’s tummy (near the music
note) for silly sounds.
• This toy enters sleep mode one minute after
the last squeeze of tug. Squeeze monster’s
