severe.Onceafusehas“tripped”,removeyourfoot
fromthepedalandwaitapproximately25seconds
beforeoperatingthevehicleagain.Toavoidrepeated
automaticshut-downs,avoidseveredrivingconditions.

normaldrivingconditions,pleasecontactyourlocal

•Youdonotneedtoremovethebatteryfromyour
vehicletorechargeit.
•Beforechargingthebattery,examinethebatterycase
forcracksandotherdamagewhichmaycausesulfuric
acid(electrolyte)toleakduringthechargingprocess.
Ifdamageisdetected,donotchargethebatteryoruse
itinyourvehicle.Batteryacidisverycorrosiveand
cancauseseveredamagetosurfacesitcontacts.
•Donotplacethebatteryonasurface(suchaskitchen
countertops)whichcouldbedamagedbytheacid
containedinsidethebattery.Takeprecautionsto
protectthesurfaceonwhichyouplaceyourbattery.
•Chargethebatteryinawellventilatedarea.
•Oncethebatteryischarged,disconnectthebattery
connectorfromthechargerconnector.Unplugthe
chargerfromthewalloutlet.RefertotheBattery
Installationsectionforinstructionsoninstalling
yourbattery.Ifyourbatteryisalreadyinstalledin
yourvehicle,simplyre-connectthemotorharness
connectortothebattery.

orbyelectricalitems.Careshouldbe
takeninunpackingandassemblyof
thevehicle.Childrenshouldnothandle
parts,includingthebattery,orhelpin
assemblyofthevehicle.
WARNING
• Fitthetopandbottomofthesteeringwheeltogether.
Makesureboththeholesandthespokesinthe
steeringpartsarealigned.
• Insertfour#6x1/2"(1,3cm)screwsintotheholesinto
thebottomofthesteeringwheelandtighten.
• Fitthedashontothetopofthevehicle.
• Inserta#8x1"(2,5cm)screwintheholeineachend
ofthedashandtighten.
• Positionthevehicleonitsside.
• Removethecapontheendofthesteeringcolumn.
Disposeofthecap.
• Fitthestraightendofthesteeringcolumnupthrough
thesquareopeninginthevehicleandoutthroughthe
largeroundholeinthedash.Make sure the steering
column is positioned between the guides on the
underside of the vehicle.
• Inserttheendofthesteeringcolumnthroughthehole
inthesteeringlinkage,asshown.
