dispositivo medico per uso domestico.
Cos’è?
RHINO CLEAR® è una doccia nasale specicatamente progettata, per eettuare
il lavaggio ed il trattamento delle cavità nasali di adulti e bambini, sia con solu-
zioni saline, sia con soluzioni di farmaci per uso aerosolico, secondo prescrizione
medica.
Come funziona?
RHINO CLEAR® collegata ad un compressore FLAEM, nebulizza soluzioni per il
lavaggio delle cavità nasali, la nebulizzazione è attivata da un pulsante posto
sull’impugnatura. Sul corpo della doccia nasale sono presenti due camere adia-
centi, di cui una destinata alla soluzione da nebulizzare, l’altra alla soluzione di
recupero. Sulla parte superiore della doccia nasale si inseriscono gli adattatori
nasali disponibili in 3 misure diverse a seconda della dimensione della narice del
soggetto a cui è destinato.
Quando usarla?
RHINO CLEAR® può essere usata per:
1. Lavaggio siologico delle cavità nasali (soluzione siologica o acqua terma-
le). E’ utile nel bambino per aiutarlo nell’igiene nasale. Nell’adulto favorisce il
lavaggio siologico del naso e può essere usato prima della terapia aerosolica
nel tratto respiratorio al ne di coadiuvare la distribuzione del farmaco.
2. Lavaggio terapeutico: la somministrazione di farmaci attraverso RHINO CLEAR®
deve avvenire su indicazione di un medico, o del farmacista, che denisce il tipo
di farmaco, le dosi di somministrazione e la durata del trattamento.
3. Aiutare i bambini a respirare bene, infatti no all’età di 1 anno il bimbo re-
spira esclusivamente con il naso quindi, se il naso è chiuso, il bimbo respira con
dicoltà, si sveglia durante la notte, fatica a mangiare e piange spesso. Consi-
derando che no all’età di 3 anni, il bambino non è in grado di soarsi il naso
da solo, il muco con intrappolati batteri, virus, polveri ristagna nelle fosse nasali.
Per liberare bene il naso sono due i metodi più consigliati: il lavaggio nasale e
l’asportazione del muco; per il lavaggio consigliamo di RHINO CLEAR® e per
l’asportazione del muco l’aspiratore nasale per bambini della linea Baby FLAEM.

AVVERTENZE IMPORTANTI
- Questo è un dispositivo medico (Conforme alla dir. 93/42/CEE) e deve essere uti-
lizzato con farmaci prescritti o raccomandati dal Vs. medico. Prima di utilizzare gli
accessori consultate il manuale istruzioni d’uso dell’apparecchio. E’ importante
che il paziente legga e comprenda le informazioni per l’uso. Contattate il Vs. ri-
venditore o centro di assistenza per qualsiasi domanda.
- In presenza di bambini e di persone non autosucienti, l’accessorio deve essere
utilizzato sotto la stretta supervisione di un adulto che abbia letto il presente
manuale.
- Alcuni componenti dell’apparecchio hanno dimensioni tanto piccole da poter
essere inghiottite dai bambini; conservate quindi l’accessorio fuori dalla portata
dei bambini.
- Interazioni: i materiali utilizzati a contatto con i farmaci sono stati testati con una
vasta gamma di farmaci. Tuttavia non è possibile, vista la varietà e la continua
evoluzione dei farmaci, escludere interazioni. Consigliamo di consumare il far-
maco il prima possibile una volta aperto e di evitarne esposizioni prolungate con
la doccia nasale.
ISTRUZIONI PER L’USO
Prima di ogni utilizzo, lavatevi accuratamente le mani e pulite la DOCCIA NA
SALE e gli accessori come descritto nel paragrafo “PULIZIA SANIFICAZIONE
DISINFEZIONE STERILIZZAZIONE”.
La DOCCIA NASALE e gli accessori sono per solo uso personale onde evitare
eventuali rischi di infezione da contagio.
Durante l’applicazione è consigliato proteggersi adeguatamente da eventuali goc-
ciolamenti.
1. Inserite l’atomizzatore (3) nella
camera di nebulizzazione (4.1).
2. Inserite la soluzione (max 10 ml) nella camera di nebulizzazione (4.1)(g. A) .
3. Applicate il separatore (2) vericando che la freccia sul corpo doccia sia allineata
con quella sul separatore (g.B). Inserite successivamente l’adattatore speci-
co per la Vs. età, o il più idoneo alla dimensione delle Vostre narici (1A/1B/1C).

PULIZIA SANIFICAZIONE DISINFEZIONE STERILIZZAZIONE
Spegnete l’apparecchio prima di ogni operazione di pulizia e scollegate il cavo di rete dalla
presa.
APPARECCHIO ED ESTERNO DEL TUBO
Utilizzate solo un panno inumidito con detergente antibatterico (non abrasivo e privo
di solventi di qualsiasi natura).
ACCESSORI
Smontate la DOCCIA NASALE come illustrato nello schema di collegamento.
Procedete quindi in base alle istruzioni di seguito riportate.
PULIZIA IN AMBIENTE DOMESTICO - SANIFICAZIONE E DISINFEZIONE
SANIFICAZIONE
Prima e dopo ogni utilizzo, sanicate l’ampolla e gli accessori scegliendo uno dei
metodi come di seguito descritto.
metodo A: Sanicate gli accessori 1A-1B-1C-2-3-4-5-6 sotto acqua calda potabile
(circa 40°C) con detergente delicato per piatti (non abrasivo).
metodo B: Sanicate gli accessori 1A-1B-1C-2-3-4-5-6 in lavastoviglie con ciclo a caldo.
metodo C: Sanicate gli accessori 1A-1B-1C-2-3-4-5-6 mediante immersione in
una soluzione con il 50% di acqua ed il 50% di aceto bianco, inne risciacquate
abbondantemente con acqua calda potabile (circa 40°C).

Dopo aver sanicato gli accessori scuoteteli energicamente ed adagiateli su un

5. Accendete l’apparecchio (vedi manuale d’uso dello stesso).
6. Avvicinate al naso appoggiando il foro dell’adattatore ad una narice.
7. Durante il trattamento è preferibile tenere chiusa con un dito l’altra narice dove
non è applicata la DOCCIA NASALE.
8. Azionate la DOCCIA NASALE tenendo premuto il pulsante d’erogazione (5)
durante la fase di inspirazione e rilasciatelo prima di espirare; in questa fase,
per aiutare l’espulsione del muco, soate delicatamente attraverso la narice
trattata direttamente nella DOCCIA NASALE.
9. Ripetete le operazioni dal punto 6. al punto 8. anche per l’altra narice cercando
di distribuire in modo uniforme la soluzione tra le due narici.
10. Nel caso di bambini o persone non autosucienti, comunque non in grado
di coordinare le varie fasi del punto 8., si consiglia di eseguire l’applicazione
alternando ogni 20 secondi circa le due narici, con pause necessarie all’espul-
sione del muco.
11. Quanto descritto nei punti precedenti è utile per il lavaggio nasale utilizzando
le soluzioni siologiche. E’ consigliabile eettuare il trattamento con farmaci
dopo un primo lavaggio con soluzione siologica per ottenere una più ecace
distribuzione del farmaco sulle mucose nasali.
12. Terminata l’applicazione, spegnete l’apparecchio ed eseguite la pulizia se-
guendo le istruzioni fornite nel paragrafo “PULIZIA SANIFICAZIONE DISINFE-
ZIONE STERILIZZAZIONE”.

DISINFEZIONE
Dopo aver sanicato l’ampolla e gli accessori, disinfettateli scegliendo uno dei metodi
come di seguito descritto.
metodo A: Gli accessori disinfettabili sono 1A-1B-1C-2-3-4-5-6.
Procurarsi un disinfettante di tipo clorossidante elettrolitico (principio attivo: ipoclorito
di sodio), specico per disinfezione reperibile in tutte le farmacie.
Esecuzione:
- Riempire un contenitore di dimensioni adatte a contenere tutti i singoli componenti
da disinfettare con una soluzione a base di acqua potabile e di disinfettante,
rispettando le proporzioni indicate sulla confezione del disinfettante stesso.
- Immergere completamente ogni singolo componente nella soluzione, avendo
cura di evitare la formazione di bolle d’aria a contatto con i componenti. Lasciare
i componenti immersi per il periodo di tempo indicato sulla confezione del
disinfettante, e associato alla concentrazione scelta per la preparazione della
soluzione.
- Recuperare i componenti disinfettati e risciacquarli abbondantemente con acqua
potabile tiepida.
- Smaltire la soluzione secondo le indicazioni fornite dal produttore del disinfettante.
metodo B: Disinfettate gli accessori 1A-1B-1C-2-3-4-5-6 mediante bollitura in acqua
per 10 minuti; utilizzare acqua demineralizzata o distillata per evitare depositi calcarei.
metodo C: Disinfettate gli accessori 1A-1B-1C-2-3-4-5-6 con uno sterilizzatore a caldo
per biberon del tipo a vapore (non a microonde). Eseguite il processo seguendo
fedelmente le istruzioni dello sterilizzatore. Anché la disinfezione sia ecace
scegliete uno sterilizzatore con un ciclo operativo di almeno 6 minuti.
Dopo aver disinfettato gli accessori scuoteteli energicamente ed adagiateli su un
tovagliolo di carta, oppure in alternativa asciugateli con un getto d’aria calda (per
esempio asciugacapelli).
PULIZIA IN AMBIENTE CLINICO O OSPEDALIERO - DISINFEZIONE E
STERILIZZAZIONE
Prima di essere disinfettati o sterilizzati, sanicate l’ampolla e gli accessori scegliendo
uno dei metodi come di seguito descritto.
metodo A: Sanicate gli accessori 1A-1B-1C-2-3-4-5-6 sotto acqua calda potabile
(circa 40 °C) con detergente delicato per piatti (non abrasivo).
metodo B: Sanicate gli accessori 1A-1B-1C-2-3-4-5-6 in lavastoviglie con ciclo a caldo.
DISINFEZIONE
Gli accessori disinfettabili sono 1A-1B-1C-2-3-4-5-6.
Procurarsi un disinfettante di tipo clorossidante elettrolitico (principio attivo: ipoclorito
di sodio), specico per disinfezione reperibile in tutte le farmacie.
Esecuzione:
- Riempire un contenitore di dimensioni adatte a contenere tutti i singoli componenti

disinfettante, e associato alla concentrazione scelta per la preparazione della
soluzione.
- Recuperare i componenti disinfettati e risciacquarli abbondantemente con acqua
potabile tiepida.
- Smaltire la soluzione secondo le indicazioni fornite dal produttore del disinfettante.
Se volete eseguire anche la STERILIZZAZIONE saltate al paragrafo STERILIZZAZIONE
Dopo aver disinfettato gli accessori scuoteteli energicamente ed adagiateli su un
tovagliolo di carta, oppure in alternativa asciugateli con un getto d’aria calda (per
esempio asciugacapelli).
STERILIZZAZIONE
Gli accessori sterilizzabili sono 1A-1B-1C-2-3-4-5.
Apparecchiatura: Sterilizzatore a vapore con vuoto frazionato e sovrapressione
conforme alla norma EN 13060.
Esecuzione: Confezionare ogni singolo componente da trattare in sistema o
imballaggio a barriera sterile conforme alla norma EN 11607. Inserire i componenti
imballati nello sterilizzatore a vapore. Eseguire il ciclo di sterilizzazione rispettando
le istruzioni d’uso dell’apparecchiatura selezionando una temperatura di 121 °C e un
tempo di 10 minuti primi.
Conservazione: Conservare i componenti sterilizzati come da istruzioni d’uso del
sistema o imballaggio a barriera sterile, scelti.
La procedura di sterilizzazione convalidata in conformità alla ISO 17665-1.

In addition, we recommend you to keep this manual carefully for any
further consultations.
Rhino Clear is a medical device for home use.
What is it?
RHINO CLEAR® is a nasal shower specically designed to wash and treat both
adults and children nasal cavities, either using saline solutions or aerosol solutions
for administering drugs with a nebulizer, according to medical prescription.
How does it work?
RHINO CLEAR® connected to a FLAEM compressor, nebulizes solutions for
washing the nasal cavities, nebulization is activated by a push button on the
handle. On the body of the nasal shower are two adjacent chambers, one for
the solution to be nebulized and the other for the recovery solution. At the top
of the nasal shower are inserted the nasal adapters available in 3 dierent sizes,
depending on the size of the nostril of the user.
When to use it?
RHINO CLEAR® can be:
1. Used for physiological cleaning of nasal cavities (saline solutions or thermal
water). Useful to help child with proper nasal hygiene. Used in adults to favour
physiological cleaning of the nose and can be used before the aerosol therapy
for a more eective drug distribution in the respiratory tract.
2. Used for therapeutic cleaning: drugs administration through RHINO CLEAR®
must be made on the advice of a physician or a pharmacist, who denes drug
selection, dosage, timing of administration and duration of treatment.
3. Used to help children to breathe well, in fact, up to 1 year old the child only
breathes through the nose, then, if the latter is blocked (snues), the child
breathes with diculty, he wakes up in the night, struggles to eat and cries
often. Considering that child can’t usually blow his own nose until about the age
of 3, the mucus with trapped bacteria, viruses and dust stagnates in the nasal
passages. To clear a blocked nose two are the best-known and recommended
methods: the nasal cleaning and the removal of mucus; to clean we suggest
RHINO CLEAR® and to remove the mucus the baby nasal aspirator included in
the Baby FLAEM products line.

IMPORTANT NOTICES
- This is a medical device (Compliant with dir. 93/42/CEE) and must be used with
medications prescribed or recommended by your doctor. Before using the
accessories, consult the device operating instructions manual. It is important for
the patient to read and understand the information for use. Contact your retailer
or service centre if you have any questions.
- Children and people who are not self-sucient must use the device under the
close supervision of an adult who has read this manual.
- Some parts of the device are small enough to be swallowed by children;
therefore, keep the accessory out of the reach of children.
- Interactions: the materials used in contact with medication have been tested
with a vast range of medications. However, in view of the variety and continuous
evolution of pharmaceuticals, interactions cannot be ruled out. We recommend
using the medication as soon as possible once it has been opened and preventing
prolonged exposure in the nasal wash system.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Before each utilisation, wash your hands accurately and clean the NASAL
WASH SYSTEM and the accessories as described in the paragraph “CLEAN-
ING, SANITISATION, DISINFECTION AND STERILISATION”.
The NASAL WASH SYSTEM and accessories are for personal use only to avoid
potential risks of transmitting infection.
During application, it is advisable to suitably protect yourself from any dripping.
1. Insert the atomiser (3) into the
nebulisation chamber (4.1).
2. Put the solution (max 10 ml) into the nebulisation chamber (4.1)(g. A) .
3. Apply the separator (2) verifying that the arrow on the shower body is aligned
with the separator (Pic. B). Then, insert the correct adapter for your age, or the
most appropriate to t the size of your nostrils (1A/1B/1C).
4. Connect the nasal douche system to the device using the tubing (7) and the tting (6).
5. Switch on the device (see the user manual).

CLEANING, SANITISATION, DISINFECTION, STERILISATION
Switch o the device before any cleaning procedure and unplug the power cable from the
socket.
DEVICE AND TUBING EXTERIOR
Use only a damp cloth with antibacterial soap (non-abrasive and with no solvents of
any sort).
ACCESSORIES
Disassemble the NASAL WASH SYSTEM as illustrated in the connection diagram.
Then proceed according to the instructions below.
CLEANING AT HOME - SANITISATION AND DISINFECTION
SANITISATION
Before and after each use, sanitise the nebuliser cup and the accessories, choosing one
of the methods described below.
method A: Sanitise accessories 1A-1B-1C-2-3-4-5-6 under potable hot water
(approximately 40°C) with a gentle, non abrasive dish detergent.
method B: Sanitise accessories 1A-1B-1C-2-3-4-5-6 in the dishwasher with a hot cycle.
method C: Sanitise accessories 1A-1B-1C-2-3-4-5-6 by immersing them in a solution
with 50% water and 50% white vinegar, then rinse thoroughly under potable hot
water (approximately 40°C).
If you also wish to perform cleaning by DISINFECTION, jump to the DISINFECTION paragraph.
After having sanitised the accessories, shake them vigorously and place them on a
paper towel. Alternatively, dry them with a jet of hot air (for example, a hair dryer).
DISINFECTION
After sanitising the nebuliser cup and the accessories, disinfect them choosing one of

7. During treatment, it is better to close with a nger the nostril where the NASAL
WASH SYSTEM is not applied.
8. Activate the NASAL WASH by holding down the delivery button (5) while
inhaling and release the button before exhaling; to help expel the mucous,
blow gently with the nostril being treated directly into the NASAL WASH
SYSTEM.
9. Repeat steps 6. through 8. for the other nostril, trying to distribute the solution
evenly between the two nostrils.
10. For children or anyone unable to correctly coordinate the various parts of step
8., we recommend alternating the application between the nostrils every 20
seconds, leaving suitable pauses to allow the mucous to be expelled.
11. The steps described above are useful for nasal irrigation using saline solutions.
It is advisable to carry out medicated treatments after an initial irrigation with
saline solution for a more ecient distribution of the medication on the nasal
mucous membranes.
12. Once the application is complete, switch o the device and clean it, following
the instructions provided in the “CLEANING, SANITISATION, DISINFECTION
STERILISATION”paragraph.

The disinfectant must be an electrolytic chlorine oxidiser (active principle: sodium
hypochlorite) specic for disinfecting, which is available in any pharmacy.
Directions:
- Fill a container of suitable size to hold all of the parts to be disinfected with a
solution of potable water and disinfectant, according to the proportions indicated
on the packaging of the disinfectant.
- Completely immerse each part in the solution, taking care to avoid the formation of
air bubbles on the parts. Leave the parts immersed for the amount of time indicated
on the packaging of the disinfectant associated with the concentration chosen for
the solution.
- Remove the disinfected parts and rinse with plenty of warm potable water.
- Dispose of the solution following the instructions provided by the disinfectant
manufacturer.
method B: Sanitise the accessories 1A-1B-1C-2-3-4-5-6 by boiling them in water for 10
minutes; use demineralised or distilled water to prevent calcium deposits.
method C: Sanitise the accessories 1A-1B-1C-2-3-4-5-6 with a hot steam steriliser
for baby-bottle (not the microwave type). Perform the process faithfully following
the instructions of the steriliser. To ensure that the disinfection is eective, choose a
steriliser with an operating cycle of at least 6 minutes.
After having disinfected the accessories, shake them vigorously and place them on
a paper towel. Alternatively, dry them with a jet of hot air (for example, from a hair
dryer).
CLEANING IN A CLINICAL OR HOSPITAL SETTING - DISINFECTION AND
STERILISATION
Before disinfection or sterilisation, sanitise the nebuliser cup and the accessories,
choosing one of the methods described below.
method A: Sanitise accessories 1A-1B-1C-2-3-4-5-6 under potable hot water
(approximately 40°C) with a gentle, non abrasive dish detergent.
method B: Sanitise accessories 1A-1B-1C-2-3-4-5-6 in the dishwasher with a hot cycle.

STERILISATION
The accessories that can be sterilised are 1A-1B-1C-2-3-4-5.
Equipment: Fractionated vacuum overpressure steam steriliser in accordance with EN
13060.
Directions: Wrap every single part to be treated with a sterile barrier system or
packaging in accordance with Norm EN 11607. Place the packed components in the
steam steriliser. Run the sterilisation cycle according to the operating instructions of
the device by selecting a temperature of 121°C and a time of 10 minutes rst.
Storage: Store the sterilised parts as per the instructions for use of either the sterile
barrier system or packaging.

De quoi s’agit-il ?
RHINO CLEAR® est une douche nasale conçue spéciquement pour eectuer le
lavage et le traitement des cavités nasales d’adultes et d’enfants, aussi bien avec
des solutions salines qu’avec des solutions de médicaments pour utilisation en
aérosol, suivant la prescription médicale.
Comment fonctionne-t-elle?
RHINO CLEAR®, reliée à un compresseur FLAEM, nébulise des solutions pour le
lavage des cavités nasales ; la nébulisation est activée par un bouton qui se situe
sur la poignée. Deux chambres contigües sont présentes sur le corps de la douche
nasale ; l’une d’elles est destinée à la solution à nébuliser, l’autre à la solution de
récupération. On introduit les adaptateurs nasaux sur la partie supérieure de la
douche ; 3 mesures diérentes sont disponibles en fonction de la dimension de la
narine du sujet à qui il est destiné.
Quand l’utiliser ?
RHINO CLEAR® peut être utilisée pour:
1. Lavage physiologique des cavités nasales (solution physiologique ou eau
thermale). Elle est utile chez l’enfant pour l’aider avec l’hygiène nasale. Chez
l’adulte, elle favorise le lavage physiologique du nez et peut être utilisée avant
la thérapie aérosol dans la portion respiratoire an d’aider la distribution du
médicament.
2. Lavage thérapeutique: l’administration de médicaments avec RHINO CLEAR®
doit se faire sur indication d’un médecin ou d’un pharmacien, qui dénit le type
de médicaments, les doses d’administration et la durée du traitement.
3. Aider les enfants à bien respirer; en eet, jusqu’à l’âge d’1 an, l’enfant respire
exclusivement avec le nez ; donc, si le nez est bouché, l’enfant respire avec
diculté, il se réveille durant la nuit, il a du mal à manger et il pleure souvent.
Vu que jusqu’à l’âge de 3 ans, l’enfant n’est pas capable de se moucher tout
seul, le mucus avec des bactéries, des virus, des poussières coincés, stagne dans
les fosses nasales. Pour bien libérer le nez, deux méthodes sont conseillées: le
lavage nasal et l’élimination du mucus ; pour le lavage, nous conseillons RHINO
CLEAR® et pour l’élimination du mucus, l’aspirateur nasal pour enfants de la
ligne Baby FLAEM.

AVERTISSEMENTS IMPORTANTS
- La douche nasale, qui est un dispositif médical (conforme à la Directive 93/42/
CEE), doit être utilisée avec des médicaments prescrits ou recommandés par
votre médecin. Avant d’utiliser les accessoires, consulter le mode d’emploi de
l’appareil. Il est important que le patient lise et comprenne les informations
d’utilisation. Contactez votre revendeur ou le centre d’assistance pour toute
question.
- En présence d’enfants et de personnes non autonomes, l’appareil doit être utilisé
sous le contrôle strict d’un adulte ayant pris connaissance du présent manuel.
- Certains composants de l’appareil sont tellement petits qu’ils pourraient être
avalés par des enfants; conservez donc l’appareil hors de la portée des enfants.
- Interactions : les matériaux utilisés en contact avec les médicaments ont été
testés avec une large gamme de médicaments. Cependant, il n’est pas possible
d’exclure d’éventuelles interactions, vu la variété et l’évolution continuelle des
médicaments. Il est conseillé de prendre le médicament le plus rapidement
possible une fois qu’il est ouvert et d’éviter les expositions prolongées avec la
douche nasale.
INSTRUCTIONS POUR L’UTILISATION
Avant chaque utilisation, se laver soigneusement les mains et nettoyer la
DOUCHE NASALE ainsi que les accessoires comme décrit au paragraphe «
NETTOYAGE, ASSAINISSEMENT, DÉSINFECTION, STÉRILISATION ».
La DOUCHE NASALE et les accessoires sont uniquement à usage personnel
an d’éviter les risques éventuels d’infection par contagion.
Lors de l’application, il est conseillé de se protéger de façon appropriée contre les
écoulements éventuels.
1. Introduire le vaporisateur (3) dans le compartiment de nébulisation (4.1).
2. Introduire la solution (10 ml max.) dans le compartiment de nébulisation (4.1) (g.A).
3. Appliquez le séparateur (2) en vériant que la èche sur le corps douche
soit alignée avec celle sur le séparateur (g.B). Introduisez successivement
l’adaptateur spécique pour votre âge, ou bien le plus adapté à la dimension

Éteindre l’appareil avant toute opération de nettoyage et débrancher le câble de réseau de la prise.
APPAREIL ET EXTÉRIEUR DU TUBE
Utiliser uniquement un chion imbibé de détergent antibactérien (non abrasif et sans aucun
solvant).
ACCESSOIRES
Démonter la DOUCHE NASALE comme illustré sur le schéma de montage.
Procéder ainsi en respectant les instructions reportées ci-dessous.

40 °C) avec un détergent délicat pour la vaisselle (non abrasif).
méthode B : Assainir les accessoires 1A-1B-1C-2-3-4-5-6 en eectuant un cycle chaud au
lave-vaisselle.
méthode C : Assainir les accessoires 1A-1B-1C-2-3-4-5-6 en les plongeant dans un mélange
à 50 % d’eau et 50 % de vinaigre blanc, puis rincer abondamment avec de l’eau chaude
potable (à environ 40 °C).
Si l’on désire également DÉSINFECTER, suivre les indications du paragraphe DÉSINFECTION.

4. Raccorder la douche nasale à l’appareil au moyen du tube (7) et du raccord (6).
5. Allumer l’appareil (voir le mode d’emploi).
6. Rapprocher le nez en posant le trou de l’adaptateur à une narine.
7. Pendant le traitement, il est préférable de laisser l’autre narine, celle où la DOUCHE
NASALE n’est pas posée, fermée avec un doigt.
8. Actionner la DOUCHE NASALE en laissant le bouton de distribution (5) enfoncé
pendant l’inspiration et le relâcher avant d’expirer; pendant cette phase, pour aider
l’expulsion du mucus, souer délicatement avec la narine traitée directement dans
la DOUCHE NASALE.
9. Recommencer les opérations du point 6. au point 8. pour l’autre narine, en essayant
de répartir uniformément la solution entre les deux narines.
10. En présence d’enfants ou de personnes non autonomes, qui ne sont pas capables de
coordonner les diérentes phases du point 8., il est conseillé d’exécuter l’application
en changeant de narine toutes les 20 secondes environ et en faisant les pauses
nécessaires à l’expulsion du mucus.
11. Les descriptions eectuées aux points précédents sont utiles pour le lavage nasal en
utilisant des solutions physiologiques. Il est conseillé d’eectuer le traitement avec
des médicaments après un premier lavage avec une solution physiologique pour
obtenir une distribution plus ecace du médicament sur les muqueuses nasales.
12. Une fois l’application terminée, éteindre l’appareil et eectuer le nettoyage en
suivant les instructions fournies au paragraphe «ASSAINISSEMENT, DÉSINFECTION
ET STÉRILISATION».

Après avoir assaini les accessoires, les secouer énergiquement et les poser sur une
serviette en papier ou les faire sécher au moyen d’un jet d’air chaud (par exemple,
sèche-cheveux).
DÉSINFECTION
Après avoir lavé l’ampoule et les accessoires, les désinfecter en choisissant l’une des
méthodes décrites ci-après.
méthode A : Les accessoires qu’il est possible de désinfecter sont les suivants : 1A-1B-
1C-2-3-4-5-6.
Se procurer un désinfectant du type chlore électrolytique (principe actif : hypochlorite
de sodium) spécique pour la désinfection, en vente dans toutes les pharmacies.
Exécution :
- Remplir un récipient dont les dimensions sont adaptées à contenir chaque
composant à désinfecter avec une solution à base d’eau potable et de désinfectant,
en respectant les doses indiquées sur l’emballage du désinfectant.
- Immerger complètement chaque composant dans la solution, en prenant soin
d’éviter la formation de bulles d’air en contact avec les composants. Laisser les
composants immergés pendant la durée indiquée sur l’emballage du désinfectant
et associée à la concentration choisie pour la préparation de la solution.
- Retirer les composants désinfectés et les rincer abondamment à l’eau potable tiède.
- Éliminer la solution selon les indications fournies par le fabricant du désinfectant.
méthode B : Désinfecter les accessoires 1A-1B-1C-2-3-4-5-6 en faisant bouillir dans de
l’eau pendant 10 minutes ; utiliser de l’eau déminéralisée ou distillée pour éviter tout
dépôt de calcaire.
méthode C : Désinfecter les accessoires 1A-1B-1C-2-3-4-5-6 avec un stérilisateur à
chaud pour biberon du type à vapeur (pas à micro-ondes). Respecter à la lettre les
instructions du stérilisateur. Pour une désinfection ecace, choisir un stérilisateur avec
un cycle de fonctionnement d’au moins 6 minutes.
Une fois que les accessoires sont désinfectés, les secouer énergiquement et les poser
sur une serviette en papier ou les faire sécher au moyen d’un jet d’air chaud (par
exemple, sèche-cheveux).
NETTOYAGE EN ENVIRONNEMENT CLINIQUE OU HOSPITALIER - DÉSINFECTION
ET STÉRILISATION
Avant de désinfecter ou stériliser, laver l’ampoule et les accessoires en choisissant l’une
des méthodes décrites ci-après.
méthode A : Assainir les accessoires 1A-1B-1C-40-3-4-5-6 à l’eau chaude potable (à
environ 2-3-4-5-6 °C) avec un détergent délicat pour la vaisselle (non abrasif).
méthode B : Assainir les accessoires 1A-1B-1C-2-3-4-5-6 en eectuant un cycle chaud
au lave-vaisselle.
DÉSINFECTION

exemple, sèche-cheveux).
STÉRILISATION
Les accessoires pouvant être stérilisés sont les suivants: 1A-1B-1C-2-3-4-5.
Appareil : Stérilisateur à vapeur à vide fractionné et surpression conforme à la norme
EN 13060.
Exécution: Emballer chaque composant à traiter en système ou emballage à barrière
stérile conforme à la norme EN 11607. Introduire les composants emballés dans le
stérilisateur à vapeur. Eectuer le cycle de stérilisation en respectant le mode d’emploi
de l’appareil et en sélectionnant une température de 121 °C et une durée de 10
minutes.
Conservation: Conserver les composants stérilisés choisis comme indiqué sur les
instructions d’utilisation du système ou sur l’emballage à barrière stérile..
La procédure de stérilisation est validée conformément au règlement ISO 17665-1.

Was ist es?
RHINO CLEAR® ist eine Nasenspülung die entwickelt wurde, um die Spülung und
die Behandlung der Nasenhöhlen von Erwachsenen und Kindern auszuführen,
sowohl mit Salzlösungen, als auch mit Aerosollösung, gemäß der ärztlichen Ver-
schreibung.
Wie funktioniert sie?
RHINO CLEAR® zerstäubt, angeschlossen an einen FLAEM Kompressor, Lösungen
zur Spülung der Nasenhöhlen, die Zerstäubung wird mithilfe einer Taste auf dem
Gri aktiviert. Auf dem Körper der Nasenspülung benden sich zwei nebenein-
anderliegende Kammern, eine für die zu zerstäubende Lösung, die andere für die
rückgewonnene Lösung. Auf dem oberen Teil der Nasenspülung werden die Na-
senstücke eingefügt, die in 3 Größen erhältlich sind, je nach Größe des Nasenlochs
des Patienten.
Wie benutzt man sie?
RHINO CLEAR® kann benutzt werden, für:
1. Physiologische Spülung der Nasenhöhlen (physiologische Lösung und Ther-
malwasser). Hilft dem Kind bei der Nasenhygiene. Bei Erwachsenen fördert sie
die phsiologische Spülung, kann vor der Aerosol-Therapie bei einer Atemwegs-
behandlung benutzt werden, um bei der Verteiling des Arzneimittels behilich
zu sein.
2. Therapeutische Spülung: Die Verabreichung von Arzneimittel mit der RHI-
NO CLEAR® muss nach Anweisung eines Arztes oder Apotherkers ausgeführt
werden, der die Art des Arzneimittels, die Verabreichung und die Dauer der Be-
handlung deniert.
3. Man hilft dem Kind unter 1 Jahr frei zu atmen, diese Kinder atmen aus-
schließlich durch die Nase und wenn die Nase geschlossen ist, hat das Kind
Schwierigkeiten zu atmen, wacht Nachts auf, hat Probleme zu essen und weint
öfters. Bedenkt man, dass Kinder bis 3 Jahre sich nicht alleine die Nase putzen
können, staut sich der Schleim mit den Bakterien, Viren, Staub in den Nasenhöh-
len. Um die Nase zu befreien werden zwei Methoden empfohlen: Die Nasen-
spülung und die Entfernung des Schleims; zur Spülung empfehlen wir RHINO
CLEAR® und zur Entfernung des Schleims den Nasensauger für Kinder der Baby
FLAEM Linie.

WICHTIGE HINWEISE
- Dies ist ein Medizinprodukt (entsprechend der Richtlinie 93/42/EWG) und kann mit
von Ihrem Arzt verordneten oder empfohlenen Medikamenten verwendet werden. Vor
der Benutzung des Zubehörs die Bedienungsanleitung zur Benutzung der Vorrichtung
lesen. Es ist wichtig, dass der Patient die Informationen zur Benutzung liest und versteht.
Bei jeglichen Fragen kontaktieren Sie Ihren Händler oder den Kundendienst.
- Kinder und pegebedürftige Personen darf das Zubehör nur unter strenger Aufsicht
eines Erwachsenen verwendet werden, der die vorliegende Gebrauchsanweisung
gelesen hat.
- Einige Geräteteile sind sehr klein und könnten von Kindern verschluckt werden.
Bewahren Sie das Zubehör daher außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf.
- Wechselwirkungen: die in Kontakt mit den Arzneimitteln verwendeten Materialien
wurden mit einer weiten Bandbreite von Medikamenten getestet. Trotzdem ist es
durch die Vielfalt und die kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung der Medikamente nicht
möglich, Wechselwirkungen auszuschließen. Wir empfehlen, das Medikament so bald
wie möglich nach dem Önen zu verbrauchen und eine längere Exposition mit der
Nasendusche zu vermeiden.
GEBRAUCHSANWEISUNG
Vor jedem Gebrauch gründlich die Hände waschen und die NASENDUSCHE und
das Zubehör wie im Absatz „REINIGUNG, ENTKEIMUNG, DESINFEKTION und
STERILISATION”beschrieben reinigen.
Die NASENDUSCHE und das Zubehör sind nur für den persönlichen Gebrauch, um die
Gefahr einer Infektion durch Ansteckung zu vermeiden.
Es wird empfohlen, sich während der Anwendung gut gegen eventuellesTropfen zu schützen.
1. Den Zerstäuber (3) in die Zerstäubungskammer (4.1) einführen.
2. Die Lösung (max. 10 ml) in die Zerstäubungskammer (4.1)(Abb. A)einführen.
3. Den Trenner (2) einsetzen, überprüfen, dass der Pfeil auf dem Spülungskörper
mit dem auf dem Trenner übereinstimmt (Abb.B). Erneut das für das Alter oder
die Größe der Nasenlöcher geeignete Nasenstück einführen (1A/1B/1C).
4. Verbinden Sie die Nasendusche mit der Vorrichtung mittels Schlauch (7) und
ZUSAMMENSETZUNG DER VORRICHTUNG:
1) Nasenstück“A”durchsichtig, für Kinder bis 3 Jahre geeignet
Nasenstück“B”weiß, für Kinder von 3 bis 12 Jahren geeignet

REINIGUNG, ENTKEIMUNG, DESINFEKTION UND STERILISIERUNG
Schalten Sievor jeder Reinigung das Gerätab und ziehen Sie das Netzkabelaus der Steckdose.
GERÄT UND AUSSENSEITE DES SCHLAUCHS
Verwenden Sie nur ein mit antibakteriellem (nicht scheuerndem und
lösungsmittelfreiem) Reinigungsmittel befeuchtetes Tuch.
ZUBEHÖR
Nehmen Sie die NASENDUSCHE ab, wie im Schema angezeigt.
Dann gemäß den nachstehenden Anweisungen fortfahren.
REINIGUNG IN DER HÄUSLICHEN UMGEBUNG - ENTKEIMUNG UND DESINFEKTION
ENTKEIMUNG
Entkeimen Sie die Ampulle und Zubehörteile vor und nach jedem Gebrauch, indem Sie
eine der nachfolgend beschriebenen Methoden wählen.
Methode A: Entkeimen Sie die Zubehörteile 1A-1B-1C-2-3-4-5-6 in warmem Trinkwasser
(ca. 40 °C) mit mildem (nicht scheuerndem) Geschirrspülmittel.
Methode B: Entkeimen Sie die Zubehörteile 1A-1B-1C-2-3-4-5-6 in der
Geschirrspülmaschine im Heißspülgang.
Methode C: Entkeimen Sie die Zubehörteile 1A-1B-1C-2-3-4-5-6 durch Eintauchen in
eine Lösung von 50 % Wasser und 50 % weißem Essig, dann mit ausreichendem warmem
Trinkwasser nachspülen (circa 40 °C).
Sollten Sie auch die Reinigung mit DESINFEKTION ausführen wollen, gehen Sie auf den
Abschnitt DESINFEKTION über.
Anschluss (6).
5. Schalten Sie das Gerät ein (siehe Bedienungsanleitung desselben).
6. Die Önung des Nasenansatzstücks in ein Nasenloch einführen.
7. Während der Behandlung empehlt es sich, das unbehandelte Nasenloch, wo die
NASENDUSCHE nicht angewendet wird, mit einem Finger zuzudrücken.
8. Die NASENDUSCHE aktivieren, indem die Abgabetaste (5) beim Einatmen gedrückt
und vor dem Ausatmen wieder freigegeben wird; damit der Schleim ausgeschieden
werden kann, ist in dieser Phase die Luft mit einem leichten Druck aus dem mit der
Nasendusche behandelten Nasenloch direkt in die NASENDUSCHE auszustoßen.
9. Wiederholen Sie die Vorgänge vom Punkt 6. bis zum Punkt 8. auch für das andere
Nasenloch und versuchen Sie dabei, die Lösung gleichmäßig auf die beiden
Nasenlöcher zu verteilen.
10. Bei Kindern oder Personen mit Behinderungen, welche die verschiedenen Phasen des
Punktes 8) nicht koordinieren können, empehlt es sich, die Behandlung der beiden
Nasenlöcher etwa alle 20 Sekunden mit Pausen abzuwechseln, in denen der Schleim
ausgestoßen werden kann.
11. Was in den vorhergehenden Abschnitten beschrieben ist, ist für die Nasenwäsche
mit physiologischen Lösungen nützlich. Es empehlt sich die Durchführung der
Behandlung mit Medikamenten nach einem ersten Waschen mit physiologischer
Lösung, um eine wirksamere Verteilung des Arzneimittels über die Nasenschleimhaut
zu erhalten.
12. Schalten Sie das Gerät nach der Behandlung aus und führen Sie die Reinigung laut
