Screening Vibration Sensor System – Getting started
Dear Customer,
Welcome to the world of Wireless Vibration Screening using state-of-the-art wireless
communication technology. The wireless vibration screening solution comprises
batteryless wireless sensors, gateways, a web application LIVE-Asset™ Portal, and an
expandable cloud-based data platform Accelix™. This Connected Reliability system
utilizes Fluke and Pruftechnik technology along with the Everactive Edge capability,
to continuously stream asset health data, using only tiny amounts of harvested
energy.

Introduction
Chapter 1: Introduction
Getting started
Steps to get started with the Screening Vibration Sensor System:
1. Confirm receipt of login information from Fluke — to be able to configure assets
and use the system, a user account is required. This account is set up by the Fluke
Customer Success Manager (CSM) then sent to the user.
2. Unpack the package — the items in the box include
3562 Screening Vibration Sensors, 3504 Wireless Gateway, LTE Wand, Gateway
antenna, Gateway power cord, Outlet adapter pack, Thermo-electric generator
(TEG) harvesters, USB-C 3.1 MTS cables and this guide.
3. Log on, set up assets for the configuration of sensors and gateways — use
LIVE-Asset™ Portal, the web application to create and manage assets, and to
configure sensors. Use the software to:
Monitor the condition of assets in different locations
Receive and evaluate measurement data from the sensor
Refer to the software online help for information on how to create, edit and
manage assets, configuration, measurement and evaluation of readings.
4. Position sensors, harvesters and gateways — use the magnetic bases to position
sensors and harvesters readily; optimal temperature difference required to
generate sufficient power for the sensors. Position gateway temporarily until data
transmission is confirmed.
5. Monitor data — takes place on the LIVE-Asset™ Portal
6. Permanent installation of gateway, sensors and harvesters — once data is
confirmed, install gateway permanently, and use epoxy to mount sensors and
harvesters permanently.

Inspect the delivered goods for defects or missing parts. If the delivery is incomplete
or has defective parts, mark the respective components on the freight dockets and
contact the shipping company or local Fluke sales partner.

Log on Account
Chapter 2: Log on account, then set up assets for
configuration
1. Access the LIVE-Asset™ Portal web page by going to: https://portal.live-asset.com
or scan this QR code.
2. Enter login information received from Fluke CSM then click Login to set up assets
in LIVE-Asset™ Portal.
Set up assets
Start the application then define the required test points for the assets. To define the
test points:
Create Location/Group (e.g. company; location of plant; site or facility)
Create Sublocation/Subgroup (if required)
Create Asset (machinery)
Enter Asset Details
Define Components
Define Test points (preferably bearing location)
Define Tasks and Alarms
Define Device Settings

1. To set up the asset from the application, click the Configuration icon (1) to
access the Configuration module. This is the module where assets are set up.
Alternatively, click Add Assets in the page area.
2. Click Edit (2) to create an Asset hierarchy.
Detailed information about configuration is in LIVE-Asset™ Portal online help.
Click (3)to access the software help at any time
NOTE: Edit tab toggles to Complete tab
Click Add Group then edit the location name.
If required, click Add SubGroup then edit the name of the sublocation.

Set up Assets
In the example, the location is ACME and the sublocation is Drainage.
3. Click Add Asset.
The Asset name is edited in Asset Details Editor. Asset speed, power, ID and
type of foundation may also be edited here.
NOTE: The asset power and mounting foundation are required if the user
wants to apply the recommended alarm limits.
4. Use Components Editor to define the asset components.
Use the drop-down menus to define driver and driven components.
