Connecting the headphones
Each extremity of the cables has an indicator: "'L" for left and "R"
for right (fig. 1). Make sure you connect each end of the cable to
the correct headphone inputs which are also labelled "L"' and "R"
on the underside of the ear-pieces next to the connectors (fig. 2).
Storage
You can store your headphones 1n the carrying case. You simply
have to disconnect the cable and store it 1n the case 1n the intended
compartment (fig 3).
Care and maintenance
It 1s advisable to clean your headphones regularly to limit wear and
tear To do so, we recommend using a clean, dry lint-free cloth
After much use. wear marks may be v1s1ble on the ear cushions .
In this case, 1f you wish to, the ear cushions can be replaced. Ask
your local Focal retailer for replacement parts. The ear cushions
are easy to uncl1p by pulling them. and to clip back into place by
pushing them back onto the ear-pieces, making sure the 5 pins are
correctly 1n place (fig 4)

Elegia is an audiophile circum-aural closed-back pair of headphones from Focal. The ergonomic design makes them
incredibly comfortable and oers excellent sound isolation, making these headphones the ideal solution for long
listening sessions. Continuing its headphone development programme, the Focal R&D team has introduced several
new innovations, all with incredible audio performance in mind. The full-range 'M'-shape aluminium/magnesium
dome speaker driver provides a very high frequency response, which is the basis for Elegia’s supremely dynamic
sound. In addition, the frameless voice coil, which is lightweight yet incredibly sti, reproduces the minutest details
that adds to the convincing all-round performance. With its incredible tonal balance combined with long-term
comfort, the Elegia is a key reference in the high-end closed-back headphones sector.
