storage and transit. We recommend that you treat your new building as soon
as possible after assembly using a wood preservative treatment. Apply in
accordance with the manufacturers instructions.

varying moisture content.
Assembly of damaged parts may be deemed to be acceptance and this may

Position the batten so it is tight against
the horizontal battens on the reverse of
the door and offset 14mm from the top
of the door. Fix using 5 x nails.

Place the panels on top of the base making sure that they are all tight and flush before fixing the panels
together using 3 x 50mm screws for each corner.
From inside the shed secure the front and back panels to the floor using 3 x 50mm screws and 2 x
50mm screws for the sides. Screw down through the bottom batten into the bearers underneath.

Place and fix the hinges to the door. Each hinge
should be positions in line with the horizontal
framing. Fix the smaller piece of the hinge to the
door.
With another person holding the door and the hinges
open place and fix the hinges to the entrance.
Fix a turn button to the top
and bottom of the slave door
using a 30mm screw for
each.
Place each of the corner
strips against the ends
of the front and back
panels so that they are
tight and fix them in
place using 3 x 30mm
screws for each.

Place and fix a turn button above the opening door.
Make sure that the button is fixed to the door end
and will hold the top of the door shut.

Position the roof sheet over the top of the battens positioned as shown. Fix this in
place hammering through the board into the batten using 30mm nails spaced in
300mm intervals.
Fix a Z’ bracket to each end of the 1109mm battens using a 25mm screw.
Place the roof sections so
that they are in line with
the front and back panel
and meet at the apex.
Fix each roof in place
using the 30mm nails
spaced in 300mm
intervals.

Unroll the felt and cut it into
three equal lengths.
Place the felt at the lowest part
( the eaves) of the roof first so
there should be at least a
45mm overhang on the edges.
Secure the felt to the roof,
nailing into the sides using felt
tacks placed in 150mm
intervals.
Place the remaining piece of
felt over the top and again
secure this in place along the
sides with felt tacks.
Further secure the top piece
down using tacks to fasten
down the overlapping material.
Cut and fold the felt at the
corners as shown.

Place the barge boards against the
front and back of the shed making
sure that they are in line with the roof
and meet at the apex. Fix each board
in place using 3 x 40mm screws.
Place the finial over the top of where
the barge boards meet and fix it in
place using 2 x 30mm screws. Position the staple on the door end in
line with the centre batten on the
reverse of the door. Making sure that
the staple is in line with the framing
behind, fix it in place using 2 x 25mm
screws.
Before fixing the Hasp to the door,
make sure that it is in line with the
framing on the reverse of the door
and that it closes over the Staple. Fix
this in place using 3 x 25mm screws.
