10. Assembly
Warning!
Only operate the fitting with non-return valves and the specified filters.
Failure to observe this instruction can result in an increased germ load in the
drinking water and thus pose a health or mortality risk.
☞Important!
Prior to the assembly process, flush the pipework in accordance with DIN 1988.
10.1 Install the screw connections (a).
10.2 Install the screw rosettes (b).
10.3 Install the outlet screw connection (c) with the rosette (d).
10.4 Insert the filters (e).
10.5 Install the fitting (g) with union nuts (f).
10.6 Attach the outlet bend (h) to the fitting.
10.7 Open the water volume regulators (i).
10.8 Check the water connections for leaks.
11. Function
Trigger the flow of water
11.1 Press the pressure cap.
• The water will flow.
• The water flow stops automatically once the preset flow time has expired.
☞The flow time is adjustable from 1-50 seconds.
Temperature selection
12. Adjusting the flow time
12.1 Using a screwdriver, carefully take off the stopper.
12.2 Remove the stopper.
12.3 Release the grub screw with an Allen key.
12.4 Remove the pressure cap.
12.5 Use a screwdriver to set the flow time.
a: Blade width 3 mm
+ longer flow time (max. 50 s)
– shorter flow time (min. 1 s)
12.6 Trigger the fitting to measure the flow time.

☞Important!
When putting the pressure cap in place, ensure that the tappet engages with the
corresponding groove.
12.7 Once the desired flow time has been set, put the pressure cap in place.
12.8 Reassemble in reverse order.
13. Adjusting the temperature limits
Warning!
If the hot water supply temperature is above 45°C, the - temperature limit should be
adjusted.
Failure to observe this instruction can result in injuries due to scalding.
☞The temperature limit is not an active scald protection.
13.1 Remove the pressure cap (see Chapter 12.).
13.2 Carefully lever off the stop ring with a screwdriver and pull off the gear teeth by hand.
13.3 Put the pressure cap in place and trigger the fitting.
13.4 Turn the pressure cap until the desired maximum water temperature is reached.
13.5 Slide the stop ring onto the gear teeth so that the stud on the stop ring is at the right-
hand end stop of the housing.
☞Important!
When putting the pressure cap in place, ensure that the tappet engages with the
corresponding groove (see Chapter 12.).
13.6 Reassemble in reverse order.
14. Maintenance and care
The fitting must be checked and maintained at regular intervals depending on the
water quality and in accordance with the local conditions and rules and regulations
applicable at the site.
Maintain the following components:
• Filters (see Chapter 15.)
• Non-return valve (see Chapter 16.)
• Functional element (see Chapter 17.)
Use suitable cleaning agents which do not attack the fitting in a proper manner and
rinse with water after use. High-pressure cleaners must not be used for cleaning.

Remove the fitting
For some maintenance tasks, the fitting must be removed.
14.1 Use an Allen key to close the water volume regulators (a).
14.2 Trigger the fitting.
14.3 Release the union nuts (b).
14.4 Remove the fitting.
15. Replacing the filters
15.1 Remove the fitting.
15.2 Replace the filters (a).
☞Important!
Note the installation position of the filters.
15.3 Reassemble in reverse order.
16. Replacing the non-return valve
Warning!
All non-return valves must be replaced at the same time.
Failure to observe this instruction can result in an increased germ load in the
drinking water and thus pose a health or mortality risk.
16.1 Remove the fitting.
16.2 Fully unscrew the seat (a) using an Allen key (left-hand thread).
16.3 Replace the non-return valve (b).
☞Important!
Note the installation position of the non-return valves.
16.4 Reassemble in reverse order.
17. Replace the functional element
17.1 Close the water volume regulators.
17.2 Trigger the fitting.
17.3 Remove the pressure cap (see Chapter 12.).
17.4 Remove the locking ring.
17.5 Remove the compression spring and the cap socket.
17.6 Unscrew the functional element using an Allen key.
☞Important!
When putting the pressure cap in place, ensure that the tappet engages with the
corresponding groove (see Chapter 12.).
17.7 Reassemble in reverse order.

18. Troubleshooting
If you cannot rectify a fault or if it is not in the list, please contact our customer
service department!
