• 「リチウム電池」の保管・使用環境および使用方法は、メーカの取扱説明書を確認
の上使用して下さい。
• 付属の電池は、リチウム、有機溶媒など可燃性物質を内蔵しており、使用形態や
使用環境、保存環境などによって、電池が漏液、発熱、破裂、発火したり、けがや
機器故障の原因となるので次のことを必ず守ってください。
‐ 電池は、乳幼児の手の届かない所に置いてください。万一、電池を飲み込んだ
場合は、すぐに医師に相談してください。

‐ 付属の電池は絶対に充電しないでください。充電すると電池内の電解液が加熱
され、ガスの発生で内部圧力が上昇し、電池を漏液、発熱、破裂、発火させる
おそれがあります。
‐ 電池を保管する場合及び廃棄する場合は、テープなどで端子部を絶縁して
ください。他の電池や金属製のものと混ぜると漏液、発熱、破裂、発火の
おそれがあります。
‐ 長期間機器を使用しない場合には、機器から電池を取り出してください。
‐ 非常用として備えている機器の電池は定期的に点検ください。いざと言うとき
に機器が使用できなくなったり、電池の漏液で機器を破損させるおそれがあり
ます。
‐ 付属の電池は、一般の不燃ゴミとして捨ててもよいことになっています。自治体
の条例などの定めがある場合には、その条例に従って廃棄してください。

• 本製品を布や布団で覆ったりしないで下さい。熱がこもり、変形・火災の原因と
なることがあります。
• 電池の中の液が皮膚や衣服に着いたときは、水でよく洗い流して下さい。万一、
目や口に入った場合は、すぐに水で洗い流し、医師の診察を受けて下さい。

操作手順

電池ボックス開閉ノブを左に回して電池蓋を本体から取り外し、電池ボックスに電池
を入れます。再び電池蓋を本体に取り付け、開閉ノブを右に回して閉めます。

注意 工場出荷時は電池がセットされています。絶縁シートを外してから
ご使用ください。

目当てを回転させて高さを調整します。メガネ使用時は収納状態で、メガネ不使用
時は出した状態で使用します。
3 電源スイッチを ON にします。システムが立ち上がり、防振機能が作動、
LED 表示
（電源）が点灯します。
4 接眼部（眼幅調整）を動かし、覗きながら左右の視界が丸く一致するように眼幅
を調整します。

左側の接眼部を左目で覗き、ピント調整ノブを回転させて目標にピントを合わせます。
続いて右側の接眼部を右目で覗き、ピント調整ノブを回転させずに視度調整リングを
回転させ、同じ目標にピントを合わせます。最後に両目で覗き、ピントが合っている
ことを確 認します。
6 使用終了時は電源スイッチを OFF にします 。

注意
本製品には 10 分のオートタイマーオフ機能が付いています。
電源スイッチ ON 後10 分経過すると自動的に電源が OFF になります。
継続して使用する場合は電源スイッチを OFF にしてから再度電源スイッチ
をON にしてください 。

その他使用上の注意
• 本体は防水構造になっていますが、水や汚れ（埃、砂等）を付着したまま放置する
と故障の原因となります。海水や汚れが付着した場合は、電池蓋をしっかり閉めて、
水道水を少し流しながら水洗いするか、容器に溜めた真水の中で洗って下さい。水
洗い後は柔らかく乾いた布で水滴をふき取り、風通しのよい日陰で乾かして下さい。
• 湿度の高い場所や埃の多い環境では接触不良の原因となるため、電池蓋を開けな
いで下さい。また、そのような環境下では故障の原因となるため電池交換は行わな
いで下さい。
• 電池蓋は正常な位置に取り付き、締められていることを確認して下さい。
• 急激な温度変化を避けて下さい。レンズやプリズムが曇ることがあります。寒い
場所から暖かい場所へ入るときは特に注意して下さい。
アフターサービスについて
• 保証書はお買い上げ店に所定事項を記入していただき、大切に保存してください。
• 保証期間中は、保証書の記載内容に基づいて無償修理をさせていただきます。
保証規定に基づく修理をご依頼になる場合には、必ず保証書を添付してください。
なお、お買い上げ店または大宮サービスセンターにお届けいただく際の運賃などの
諸費用は、お客様にてご負担願います。

• Never use the binoculars to look at the sun. Doing so could
cause blindness.
• Should you notice anything unusual about the product, such as overheating,
smoke, or a burning smell, turn it o and remove the batteries immediately.
Failure to observe this precaution could result in re or burns. When remov-
ing the batteries, take care to avoid burns.
• Remove the batteries immediately should water, metal, or other foreign mat-
ter nd their way inside the product. Failure to observe this precaution could

gasoline, benzine (petroleum ether), or paint thinner. Failure to observe this
precaution could result in explosions, re, or burns.

• Do not place the product on unstable surfaces. Injury could result if the prod-
uct tips or falls.
• Do not use the product while walking. Failure to observe this precaution

• Operators could pinch their ngers when adjusting eye width. Observe cau-
tion when allowing small children to use the product.
• Do not leave the product in direct sunlight. Failure to observe this precaution

• Deterioration of the rubber eyecups as the result of prolonged use could
cause inammation of the skin. Consult a physician should experience symp-
toms that could be the result of inammation.
• Consult a physician immediately should a child swallow a cap.
• Plastic bags and wrapping are a suocation hazard. Keep them out of reach
of children.
• Under no circumstances should you attempt to disassemble the product.

product also voids the warranty.

- Use batteries if the casing is damaged or peeling
- Use batteries if the nominal voltage cannot be determined or exceeds 3V
• Do not use the product if the batteries are not inserted with the “+” and “−”
contacts in the correct orientation.
• Do not short or disassemble batteries or expose them to heat or ame. Failure
to observe this precaution could result in the batteries rupturing or cause re
or injury.
• Refer to the documentation provided by the manufacturer for information on
the use and storage of, and operating conditions for, lithium batteries.
• The supplied battery contains lithium, organic solvents, and other ammable
materials and may, depending on such factors as how and where it is used
and the conditions under which it is stored, leak, overheat, rupture, or ignite;
to prevent injury or damage to the product, observe the following precau-
tions:
- Keep batteries out of reach of children. Should a child swallow a battery,
consult a physician immediately.

electrolyte inside the casing, producing gases that could cause the batter-

rupture, or ignite.
- Remove the battery if the product will not be used for an extended period.
- Batteries in devices intended for emergency use should be inspected peri-
odically. Failure to observe this precaution could result in the device being
unusable in an emergency or in damage to the device caused by uid leak-
ing from the batteries.

Using the Binoculars
1 Rotate the battery-chamber latch to the left, remove the battery-cham-
ber cover, and load the batteries. Replace the battery-chamber cover and
latch it by rotating the latch to the right.

CAUTION The binoculars ship with a battery inserted. Remove the
insulating sheet before use.
2 Adjust the eye height by rotating the eyecups. Retract the eyecups if you
wear glasses and extend them if you do not.
3 Set the power switch to “ON”. The system will start up, the image stabilizer
will engage, and the power LED will light.
4 With your eyes to the binoculars, adjust the eyepiece width until the views
in the right and left eyepieces overlap in a single circle.
5 Looking through the left eyepiece with your left eye, rotate the focus con-
trol until your target is in focus. Then, looking through the right eyepiece
with your right eye but without rotating the focus control, rotate the di-
opter adjustment control until your target is in focus. Finally, conrm that
your target is still in focus when you look through the eyepiece with both
eyes.
6 When you have nished using the binoculars, set the power switch to
“OFF”.

CAUTION
The product features a ten-minute auto-o timer. The
binoculars turn o ten minutes after the power switch is set to
“ON”. To continue using the product, set the power switch to
“OFF” and then back to “ON”.

Other Precautions for Use
• Although the product is water resistant, leaving water, dust, sand, or other
foreign matter on the product could cause it to malfunction. To remove sea-
water or dirt, rst check that the battery chamber cover is securely latched,
then rinse the product under a slow trickle of water from a tap or wash it
gently in a basin of fresh water. After washing the product, remove any water
droplets with a soft, dry cloth, and then leave the product to dry in a shady,
well-ventilated area.
• Do not open the battery chamber cover in locations that are extremely dusty
or damp, as moisture and dust on the battery contacts could interrupt the
supply of power. Do not exchange batteries in such locations, as this could
cause product malfunction.
• Conrm that the battery chamber cover is in the correct position and securely
latched.
• Avoid sudden changes in temperature, as these could cause condensation on
the lens or prism. Particular caution is required when taking the product from
cold to warm environments.
