The Vivid iSafeLock Cart is a simple solution for
mounting the Vivid i/Vivid q, for portable use in the
clinic, providing storage for some of the most popular
peripherals and accessories used day-to-day in
Cardiology. The cart enables easy maneuvering of
the system for improving accessibility and optimizing
positioning.
Attention
This manual is a supplement to the Vivid i/Vivid qUser
Manual direction 5400907.
Read and understand all instructions in the
Vivid i/Vivid qUser Manual and in this Supplement
SafeLock Cart User Manual, before attempting to use
the Vivid iSafeLock Cart.
This manual has to be used in connection with the
Vivid i/Vivid qUser Manual.
All information contained in the Vivid i/Vivid qUser
Manual is relevant.
Keep the Vivid i/Vivid qUser Manual and this
supplement manual with the equipment at all time.
Periodically review the procedures for operation and
safety precautions.

Main Features
• Small foot-print (50 x 50 cm - 19.8" x 19.8")
• Hand rest for extensive operation
• DVD/CD-R built-in to a special compartment
• Height adjustment (75 to 95 cm - 30" to 38")
allows comfortable use while standing or sitting
• 5" swivel-lock wheels with front-brakes for easy
transport
• 6 probe holders (3 on each side), 2 gel bottle
holders (1 on each side), allow comfortable
scanning on either side of the system
• 2 storage compartments for accessories storage
(the height of one of them is adjustable)
• Local Area Network Connectivity (isolated)
• 3 isolated AC outlets for the peripherals/
accessories (total power of 150 VA)
• Cart mains support 100 - 120 VAC (250VA) or
220 - 240 VAC (250VA) (factory configured)
• 4 USB connectors for connecting
peripherals/accessories
• Security cable for locking the Vivid i/Vivid q
system to the SafeLock cart.
• EMC/IEC 601 certified

Equipment is not suitable for use in the presence of
FLAMMABLE ANESTHETIC MIXTURE with AIR or with OXYGEN
or NITROUS OXIDE.
DANGER
To ensure proper grounding, connect this equipment to a
receptacle marked "HOSPITAL ONLY" or "HOSPITAL GRADE".

WARNING
Always lock the SafeLock Cart in its parked (locked) position
after moving the system. Failure to do so could result in
equipment damage.
WARNING
Equipment damage could result if special care is not taken when
transporting the Vivid i/Vivid qsystem (and SafeLock Cart if
applicable) in a vehicle.
CAUTION
Electric shock hazard. DO NOT REMOVE COVER.
Refer servicing to qualified servicing personnel.
CAUTION
When the Vivid i/Vivid qscanner is used with the SafeLock Cart,
make sure the unit is firmly secured in the correct position on the
cart otherwise it might become unstable and tip over.
CAUTION
Whenever the SafeLock Cart is to be moved along any incline, be
careful and make sure that the Vivid i/Vivid qscanner and all
peripherals are securely mounted on and secured to the cart
before attempting to move it.
CAUTION
United States law restricts this device to sale or use by, or on the
order of a physician.
