This is an instruction for quick installation of GoodWe HV series energy storage inverters (ARM
version 14 or higher) and Pylontech Force H1 or H2 battery. For details of the connection or
commissioning, please go to user manual of the inverter and the battery if you cannot find it
in this instruction.Here we take GoodWe ET inverter and Pylontech Force H2 battery as an
example for connection and commissioning.
Precautions
Power Cable Wiring
Step 1: Make Battery cable
Step 2: Connect the ready cable to inverter and battery
Make sure battery and inverter are not
damaged and battery breaker is turned
off before making any further move

Use the power cable in battery components box. Cut the metal connectors from the cable
and connect to the Phoenix connector in inverter components box.
Note: If you want replace the cable by your own, make sure the power cable dimension
selected is 4~6mm2

Get ready of the battery cable in the
components box with Force H2 battery,
and the connector sets in battery
components box

Communication Cable Wiring
Step 1: Make cables

Cut off the RJ45 connector on the “To Battery” Cable attached on inverter.
Note: please note that you should leave enough cable length leading to battery.

Cut the CAN/RS485 cable attached in battery components bag, take out the gland to use later.

After the wiring and commissioning is completed, start battery and inverter up.
Inverter Commissioning
Note: please follow the pin sequence of the initial RJ45 connector or as below
1 Orange&white 485_A2
2 Orange NC
3 Green&white 485_B2
4 Blue CAN_H
5 Blue&white CAN_L
6 Green NC
7 Brown&white NC
8 Brown NC
Position Color BMS Function
Select the right battery model in PV Master →Basic SettingB.
Put the rest of “To Battery” cable through the gland and then make a new RJ45 connector.C.
Connect the new RJ45 cable to battery “CAN” port. And fasten the gland for water-proof.D.
Download and install PV Master on your smart phone and connect inverter via wireless

1.For detailed commissioning of the system on

2.Wrong commissioning will cause BMS
communication failure.
