Safety Features
• The device is equipped with an internal timer. Once the set timer time has elapsed,
the supply of heat is automatically switched off. To switch the device on again, touch
the field (22)(see the “Operation” chapter – “Operating Elements and Functions”
and the “Using the Device and Preparing Food” chapter).
• The device automatically stops the supply of heat when the drawer (9) is pulled out of
the device while preparing food. The control lamp for the active programme goes out
and the display (16) shows
“–––”.
If the drawer is inserted back into the device, the
control lamp for the previously selected programme lights up and the set temperature
and the remaining timer time appear on the display. The set programme continues to
run until the timer time has elapsed or the device is switched offmanually (see the
“Operation” and “Using the Device and Preparing Food” chapters).
• The device has overheating protection. It switches offif it is overloaded. In this
case, pull the mains plug out of the plug socket and allow the device to cool down
completely. It is then ready to be used again.
Before Initial Use
• Remove any possible films, stickers or transport protection from the device. Never
remove the rating plate and any possible warnings!
• The device should be used for the first time without any food in it as it may produce
some smoke or odours due to coating residues. Allow the device to heat up on the
highest temperature setting for approx. 15 minutes without any food in it (see the
“Operation“ and “Using the Device and Preparing Food” chapters).
• Thoroughly clean the device and all accessories (see the “Cleaning and Storage”
