►Entfernen Sie die Rändelmuttern von
den Sitzbrettern, stecken sie von unten,
in der gewünschten Position, durch die
Sitzbrettösen und schrauben sie mit den
Rändelmuttern fest.
►Befestigen Sie den Vorderteil der Sitz-
bretter, mit den beiden Sitzbrettgurten,
an den Sitzbrettösen.
►Die Neigung der Sitzbretter kann durch
festziehen oder lockern der Sitzbrettgur-
te eingestellt werden.

►Entfernen Sie die Rändelmuttern von
den Sitzbrettern, stecken sie von oben,
in der gewünschten Position, durch die
Sitzbrettösen und schrauben sie mit den
Rändelmuttern fest.
►Öffnen Sie den Karton und nehmen Sie
Ihr Boot heraus.
►Überprüfen Sie anhand der Stückliste ob
alle Teile vorhanden sind.
►Rollen Sie den Bootskörper auf.
►Schließen Sie die Ventile indem Sie den
grünen Knopf drücken, und im gedrück-
ten Zustand eine viertel Umdrehung
nach links oder rechts verdrehen. Der
grüne Knopf steht im geschlossenen Zu-
stand etwas vor.
►Stecken Sie den Schlauch Ihres Auf-
pumpgerätes (Blasbalg, Luftpumpe oder
Elektropumpe) mit dem Bajonett-Adapter
auf das Ventil und verdrehen Sie den Ba-
jonettadapter nach rechts.
►Pumpen Sie das Boot soweit auf, bis
etwa die endgültige Form gegeben ist.
Siehe auch „Ventil - Aufpumpen“ in der Allge-
meinen Betriebsanleitung Teil 2.
►Jetzt erst pumpen Sie Ihr Boot auf Be-
triebsdruck (0,3 bar) auf.
►Schließen Sie das Ventil mit der Ventil-
kappe (Bajonettverschluss).
►Binden Sie bei eXPediTiOn die Si-
cherheits-Halteleinen, links und rechts,
an den Ösenleisten ein.

►Suchen Sie sich zum Abbauen und Ver-
packen einen sauberen Untergrund.
►Entfernen Sie alle losen Teile vom Boot
(Spritzdecke, wasserdichte Taschen,
persönliche Ausrüstung,....).
►Lassen Sie die Luft vom Boot aus.
►Entfernen Sie die Sitzbretter
►Reinigen und trocknen Sie Ihr Boot und
das Zubehör um Beschädigung durch
Sand und kleine Steine zu vermeiden!
►Überprüfen Sie Ihr Boot auf eventuelle
Beschädigungen und beheben Sie diese
so rasch wie möglich damit das Boot für
die nächste Fahrt wieder einsatzbereit
ist!
►Rollen Sie das Boot vom Bug zum Heck
zusammen (Richtung Ventile) damit die
meiste Luft entweichen kann.

►Rollen Sie das Boot wieder auf und legen
es ach auf den Boden, dass die beiden
Ösenleiste in der Mitte zusammenste-
hen.
►Falten Sie eine Hälfte bis zur Mitte nach
innen.

►Rollen Sie das Boot wieder auf und legen
es der Länge nach in der Mitte zusam-
men.
►Beginnen Sie das Boot vom Bug weg,
eng zusammenzurollen.
►Falten Sie das Heck nach innen und rol-
len das Boot fertig zusammen.
►Falten Sie den Boden auf die Seiten-
schläuche, dass sich zwischen der Bug-
und Heckschutzleiste eine gerade Linie
bildet.
►Verschnüren Sie das zusammengeroll-
te Boot mit einer Packleine oder einem
Gurt.
►Jetzt können Sie Ihr Boot samt serien-
mäßigem Zubehör in Ihrem Pack- oder
Rucksack (Sonderzubehör) verpacken.
►Wenn sich noch Restluft im Boot ben-
det, kann es sein, dass Sie es nicht in
den Packsack oder Rucksack bringen!
(In diesem Fall das Boot nochmals aufrollen
und neu zusammenlegen)
►Beginnen Sie das Boot vom Bug weg,
eng zusammenzurollen.
►Falten Sie das Heck nach innen und rol-
len das Boot fertig zusammen.

Auch wenn es sich im ersten Moment un-
bequem anhört, im knien zu paddeln, sollten
Sie die Haltung einmal ausprobieren. Knien
Sie sich mit leicht gespreizten Beinen ins
Boot und stützen Sie dabei Ihr Hinterteil auf
dem Sitzbrett ab. Ein Teil des Körpergewich-
tes lastet nun auf den Knien und entlastet
die Wirbelsäule. Durch die höhere Kniesitz-
Position haben Sie einen besseren Überblick
und sind beweglicher in der Hüfte. Auf Wan-
derfahrten können Sie zwischen Sitz- und
Kniesitz wechseln, im Wildwasser sollten Sie
jedoch immer kniend paddeln.

Das Sitzbrett wird dann hinter der Bootsmitte
befestigt. Wahlweise paddeln Sie das Boot
mit dem Stechpaddel oder mit einem Doppel-
paddel.

Setzen Sie sich am besten auf das mittlere
Sitzbrett (Zubehör).
Falls Sie kein mittleres Sitzbrett haben, kön-
nen Sie Ihr Boot auch verkehrt (Heck ist gleich
Bug) fahren und sich dabei auf das hintere (in
diesem Fall das Bug-Sitzbrett) setzen.
OUTSide,
adVenTUre eXPediTiOn
Bei Wildwasserfahrten wird der Lenz-
schlauch nach außen gezogen und der Klick-
verschluss innen zusammengesteckt. Ist das
Boot schwer beladen, werden einige Liter
Wasser im Boot bleiben (je schwerer das
Boot beladen ist bzw. je mehr Tiefgang es
hat, desto mehr Wasser verbleibt im Boot).
Zusätzliches Wasser läuft jedoch schnells-
tens ab, das Boot bleibt auch im wuchtigen
Wildwasser manövrierfähig.
►Ziehen Sie den Lenzschlauch nach in-
nen und öffnen Sie den Klickverschluss.
►Richten Sie den Lenzschlauch möglichst
faltenfrei aus und rollen Sie ihn von oben
nach unten so weit wie möglich (mindes-
tens 4x) zusammen.
►Verschließen Sie den Klickverschluss
wieder.
Grundsätzlich werden Kanadier mit Stech-
paddeln gefahren. Wenn Ihnen die Dop-
pelpaddeltechnik angenehmer ist, können
Sie auch mit Doppelpaddel fahren. Durch
die breite Bauweise benötigen Sie aber et-
was längere Doppelpaddel mit etwa 270 cm
(Kombipaddel).

Im Heckbereich des Bodens ist eine Flach-
stelle in die Sie sich nachträglich Lenzlöcher
ausstanzen können.
Bei Fahrten auf ruhigem Wasser werden die
Lenzlöcher, mit dem Lenzlochverschluss (Zu-
behör), verschlossen.
►Zeichnen Sie sich lt. Abbildung die Posi-
tion der Lenzlöcher an.
►Stanzen Sie die Lenzlöcher mit einem
Locheisen (Durchmesser 20-25 mm)
aus.

ßen der Lenzlöcher.
Montage:
• Schrauben Sie den Lenzlochverschluss
auseinander
• Stecken Sie den Teil mit den Schrauben,
von außen durch die Lenzlöcher
• Geben Sie den zweiten Teil von innen auf
die Schrauben
• Schrauben Sie den Lenzlochverschluss
fest zusammen

abdichten vom Lenzschlauch.
Montage:
• Ziehen Sie den Lenzschlauch nach in-
nen und öffnen Sie den Klickverschluss.
• Richten Sie den Lenzschlauch faltenfrei
aus.
• Schrauben Sie die Lenzschlauchklemme
auseinander.
• Stecken Sie die Klemme über den Lenz-
schlauch und schrauben Sie mit den bei-
den Rändelmuttern fest zusammen.

Die Sitzbretthöhe ist so festgelegt, dass man
im Boot knien kann, aber auch sitzen. Wer
nur sitzen möchte, kann die Sitzhöhe mit dem
Sitzbrettbügel um 12 cm absenken. Das hat
den Vorteil, dass das Boot durch den tieferen
Schwerpunkt noch kippstabiler wird.
►Schrauben Sie die Schrauben von den
Sitzbrettern heraus.
►Schrauben Sie die längeren Senkkopf-
schrauben von den Sitzbrettbügeln in
das Sitzbrett.
►Stecken Sie das Sitzbrett auf die Bügel
und schrauben es mit den Flügelschrau-
ben fest.
►Befestigen Sie das Sitzbrett mit Bügel an
den Sitzbrettbeschlägen vom Boot.

►Remove the knurled nuts of the seat-
boards and insert them from underneath
into the seat-board eyelets, fasten the
nuts.
►Fasten the forward part of the seat-
boards to the eyelets of the coaming by
means of the straps.
►The tilt of the seat-boards can be ad-
justed to suit by tensioning or loosening
the straps.

►Remove the knurled nuts of the seat-
boards and insert them from above into
the seat-board eyelets, fasten the nuts.
►Open and empty the carton of your boat.
►Check the list of items to ensure no parts
are missing.
►Unroll the boat.
►Close the valves by pushing and twist the
green button clock- or anti clockwise by a
quarter turn. If valve is closed, the green
button stands out.
►Inate side tubes and bottom till they
reach approximate nal shape.
►Insert the bayonet nozzle adapter of tube
of the ination appliance (bellow pump,
electric- or other air pump), into the so-
cket of the airvalve and twist the bayonet
nozzle clockwise.
►Now inate the boat as far, so that the
nal shape becomes apparent.
See „Valve - Ination“ in the Operating Inst-
ructions - Part 2.
►Now only inate your boat to full opera-
ting pressure (0.3 bar).
►Cover the valve with the valve cap (ba-
yonet cap).
►eXPediTiOn - Fasten safety line to
the eyelet lip on the port- and starboard
side.

►Choose clean ground for dismantling and
packing.
►Remove all loose parts from the boat
(spray cover, waterproof bags and per-
sonal items, ...)

►Clean and dry your boat and the acces-
sories to avoid damage by grit!

and repair such as soon as possible, rea-
dy for next use!
►Roll up the boat from bow to stern (di-
rection towards valves) so as to allow
discharge of air.

ground, the eyelet studded coaming
should meet in the middle.
►Fold the boat in half lengthwise.

►Fold the stern over to the inside of the roll

stern reinforcement.
►Lace the rolled up boat by means of a
line or strap.
►You may now pack your boat and stan-
dard accessories into your pack-bag or
rucksack (special accessory).
►If you still nd residue of air inside air
chambers of the boat, you may not be
able to successfully stow your boat into
your bag or rucksack.
(In the event of that unroll the boat and repeat
the process of rolling up once more).
►Start rmly rolling the boat from bow to
rear.
►Fold the stern over to the inside of the roll
and continue until nish.

It may initially sound to be an uncomfort-
able mode, paddling in kneeling position,
you should though try that posture. Kneel
in the boat, with your legs slightly splayed,
and have your buttock rest on the seat-
board. Part of the body weight now rests on
the knees and relieves the spine. Kneeling
position provides better forward vision and
enhanced hip movement. During water-
way exploration it makes sense to alternate
paddling between knee and seated posi-
tion. When engaged in white water padd-
ling though, you should adapt to kneeling
posture.

The TREKKING XR is adapted for single han-
ded application. The seat-board should then
be tted to the eleventh or twelfth eye of the
coaming strip. You may choose or vary in the
use of single- or double blade paddles.

If you want to paddle your boat on your own
it is the best to sit on the middle seat-board
(accessory)
If you don´t have a middleseat-board it is pos-
sible to drive your boat on back to front and
seat on the back seat-board (in this case the
bow seat-board).

adVenTUre eXPediTiOn
When moving in white-water the bailing-hose
is pulled to the outside and the clip seal inser-
ted inside. If the boat is heavy loaded, a few
litres of water will remain in the boat. Other
water over and above that will quickly drain
off. The boat will remain manoeuvrable even
in extremes of white-water.
►By pulling the bail-hose to the inside and
open the clip seal.
►Arrange the hose at and fairly free of
creases then roll it up (at least 4 x) from
the top to the bottom.
►Close the clip seal.
In general the Canadian is geared to be
paddled by means of single blade pad-dles.
If your preference is for double blade padd-
ling, you may of course go for that choice.
Due to the broader beam, you may opt for
somewhat longer double blade paddles,
appr. 270 cm (combi-paddle).

There is a at patch to the rear of the boats
oor, into which drain holes may be punched.
There is a plug available from the list of ac-
cessories to cover the drain holes, when mo-
ving in calm waters.
►Draw and mark the position of the drain
holes as per illustration.
►Use a punch tool (diameter 20 - 25 mm)
to punch the drain holes.

• Unscrew the drain hole cover.
• Place one part of the cover over the drain
holes and insert the screws through the
drain holes from the outside.
• Place the other part from the inside over
the screws and rmly fasten screws.

open the clip seal.
• Arrange the hose at and free of crea-
ses.
• Unscrew the hose clip seal.
• Place the clip over the bailing-hose and
rmly fasten the 2 knurled nuts.

Seat-board height adjustment allows for
kneeling, as well as seated paddling posi-
tion. Those who orefer setad paddling, by
adjusting the seat retaining bracket the seat-
board height can be lowered by 12 cm. That
the boat stability.
►Unscrew the bolts of the seat-board.
►Screw the long bolts of the seat retaining
bracket to the seat-board.
►Insert the seat-board into the seat retai-
ning bracket and fasten the wingnuts.
►Fasten the seat-board with retaining bra-
cket to the seatboard ttings.
