HOW TO USE THE HEADSET OR SPEAKER:
1. Use the speaker button to turn the speaker ON/OFF
2. Use the Headset button to use the headset once it has been connected.
HOW TO ADJUST THE VOLUME:
1. Use the volume button to adjust the ring volume when the phone is idle.
2. Use the volume button to adjust the call volume when on an active call.
HOW TO ACCESS YOUR VOICEMAIL (VM):
1. When there is a VM message you will see a blinking GREEN MWI (Message Waiting Indicator).
2. Press the ‘MESSAGE’button to retrieve the message.
3. Press a specific ‘LINE/MULTIPLE-PURPOSE (MPK)’button to retrieve messages for a specific line
account.
HOW TO MUTE/DELETE/DO NOT DISTRUB (DND):
1. Press the ‘MUTE’ button to mute/unmute the microphone
2. The mute icon will indicate whether the microphone is muted.
3. Press the ‘MUTE’button when not on an active call to place the handset onto ‘Do Not
Disturb (DND)’. Pressing the ‘MUTE’button again will take the handset off ‘DND’.

WHAT THE LINE/MPK COLOURS MEAN:
1. When the ‘LINE/MPK’ has been configured as an extension and the line colour is GREEN –the
line/extension is not currently on a call and is available.
2. When the ‘LINE/MPK’ has been configured as an extension and the line colour is RED –the
line/extension is currently on a call and is unavailable.
3. When the ‘LINE/MPK’ has been configured as an extension and the line is FLASHING –the
line/extension is currently ringing.
HOW TO MAKE A CALL:
1. Take the handset/headset off the hook OR press the speaker button OR an available ‘LINE/MPK’
button (this will activate the speakerphone).
2. You will have a dial tone, and the corresponding line’s LED will turn GREEN.
3. Enter the phone number.
4. Press the ‘SEND’button or press the ‘DIAL’soft key.
HOW TO REDIAL:
1. Take the handset/headset off the hook.
2. Press the ‘SEND’button or press the ‘REDIAL’soft key.
Please note: The phone will only redial the last number that was called.
HOW TO ANSWER A SINGLE INCOMING CALL:
1. Answer the call by taking the handset/headset off the hook or by pressing the ‘SPEAKER’button
or by pressing the corresponding account ‘LINE/MPK’button.
HOW TO ANSWER MULTIPLE INCOMING CALLS:
1. You will hear a ‘Call Waiting’ tone when there is a call waiting.
2. The next available line will flash RED.
3. Answer the incoming call by pressing the corresponding ‘LINE/MPK’button.
4. The current call will be placed on hold.
5. You can toggle between calls by pressing the corresponding ‘LINE/MPK’button.
HOW TO END A CALL:
1. You can easily end a call by pressing the ‘END CALL’ soft key, or by hanging up the phone.
HOW TO PLACE A CALL ON HOLD/TAKE OFF HOLD:
1. To place a call on hold, press the ‘HOLD’button.
2. To resume a held call, either press the ‘HOLD’button or the ‘RESUME’softkey.

HOW TO BLIND TRANSFER A CALL:
1. During an active call, press the ‘TRANSFER’ softkey.
2. Dial the number/extension and press either the ‘SEND’ button or ‘#’to complete the
transfer of the call.
HOW TO DO AN ATTENDED TRANSFER:
1. During an active call, press the ‘TRANSFER’ softkey.
2. Dial the number/extension to be transferred to and press the ‘AttTrnf’softkey to make the
second call.
3. Once the call is established, press the ‘TRANSFER’ softkey and they caller on hold will be
transferred.
HOW TO INITIATE A CONFERENCE CALL:
1. Establish calls with the 1 or 2 parties intended to join the conference call.
2. While 1 call is active, the other call will be put on hold with its ‘LINE/MPK’flashing GREEN
3. Press the ‘CONF’softkey
a. On the GRP2613 handset, the softkey will be ‘ConfCall’
4. The conference will then be established after pressing the desired ‘LINE/MPK’currently on hold.
a. On the GRP2613, press the ‘UP arrow’key. Then, click on the ‘ConfCall’softkey

HOW TO CANCEL A CONFERENCE CALL:
1. Press the ‘CANCEL’ soft key or the active ‘LINE/MPK’(The LED in solid GREEN).
2. This will resume the 2-way conversation with the current line.
HOW TO ‘KICK’A LINE IN A CONFERENCE CALL:
1. Users can remove an extension from an ongoing conference by:
a. Pressing the ‘KICK’softkey.
b. Specifying which extension/number to kick.
c. Pressing the ‘SUBMIT’soft key.
HOW TO SPLIT AND/OR RECONFERENCE:
1. During an active conference call, press the ‘HOLD’softkey. The conference will then be split, and
the calls will be put on hold separately with the ‘LINE/MPK’flashing GREEN.
2. Press the ‘LINE/MPK’to resume a 2-way conversation.
3. To re-establish the conference call: Press the ‘ReConf’softkey right after the conference call is
split
HOW TO END A CONFERENCE CALL:
1. Press the ‘HOLD’ button to split the conference call.
2. The conference call will be ended with both calls on hold;
3. OR all parties can press the ‘ENDCALL’softkey or simply hang up the hand/headset to terminate
the call.
HOW TO ADD A CONTACT:
1. On the ‘LOCAL CONTACTS’Menu, select ‘LOCAL PHONEBOOK’and press the ‘NEW’softkey.
Your handset screen should look like the above screenshot.
2. Input the contact details into the fields and press the ‘SAVE’softkey.
3. The new contact will now be added to your ‘LOCAL PHONEBOOK’.
