TheLS1000XPisanengraving,markingandcuttingmachineequippedwithaCO2lasersource.
The 40W/60W/80W laser sources are air cooled.
The 100W/150W laser sources are water cooled. A water chiller is supplied.
Thistypeoflasero󰘯ersveryhighqualitymarkingonawiderangeofmaterials.
2. Identi󰘰cationofthemarkingequipment

Airextractionsystem
• Neveroperatethemachinewithoutafumeandgasextractionsystemthatisproperlycon󰄈gured,
installed and maintained in good working order.
• The gases and fumes from the marking process must be extracted from the machine and discharged
outside.

Introduction
Water chiller
Never operate the LS1000 XP 100W/150W machine without a properly operating water chiller
thatiscorrectlycon󰄈gured,installedandmaintainedingoodworkingorder.
In order to protect the chiller pump, it is strictly prohibited to operate it without
demineralisedwaterinthetank.Toavoiddamagingthepump,itisimportantto󰄈llthe
tankbeforeusingitforthe󰄈rsttime.
• Itisimportanttocheckthatthedemineralisedwaterlevelisalwaysadequate.Coolingcapacitybeginsto
declinewhenthedemineralisedwaterlevelfallsbelowthegreenarea(NORMAL)onthegauge.
• Neverdrainthewatertankwhilethechillerisinoperation.
• Ensurethattheairintakeandairoutletarewellventilated.Theremustbeaclearanceofatleast20cm
(7.874in)attheairintakeandof50cm(19.685in)attheairoutlet.
• Atthebackofthechiller:Thewater󰘰ltermustbecleanedregularly.Itisessentialtoremoveandclean
depositsformingonthe󰘰ltergauzeinordertopreventanysigni󰘰cantobstructionthatcouldcausethe
chiller to malfunction.
• Bewareofwatercondensation.Inareasofhigherambienthumidityandwhenthetemperatureofthewater
isbelowroomtemperature,condensationformsonthewaterpipesandcooledcomponents.Inthisevent,
itisadvisabletoincreasethewatertemperatureortowarmupthepipesandcooledcomponents.
