Operators check list before use
• Make sure the lifter is moving freely on its castors.
• Operate the brakes (10) to make sure they are
working.
• Lift & lower the lifting boom (2) via the control
buttons (15) on the hand control (8).
• Check that the base adjustment (16) is opening
and closing, via the hand control (8).
• Check the emergency function by pressing the
buttons (17) on the control box (3). Check the
manual function by turning the knob (7) in the
direction of the arrow.
• Check that the emergency stop button (6) is work-
ing – depress and try hand control – turn in the
direction of the arrow to release.
• Release Knee pad adjustment knobs x 2 (12)
the pad should move up / down and slide in / out,
tighten to lock.
• Make sure footplate (11) is secure and clean.
Charging options
• Charger integrated in control box - plug net cable
into power socket.
• When the power is plugged in, the green LED light
on the control box lights up.
• The green and yellow diode on the control box (3)
illuminates during charging, when fully charged the
yellow diode turns off.

Accessories
Sling attachment hooks
You have the option to use either the outer hooks or inner
hooks. (A risk assessment MUST be carried out before
attempting a lift).
Place the sling strap in the hooks. Upon lifting make sure
that the strap maintains its position.
Lifting sling
We only recommend using the designed slings for the
“Active Lifter.” The sling must be checked before every lift –
(please see sling user manual for guidance). Label must be
intact and readable.
Daily cleaning and
maintenance
Clean with a damp cloth and ordinary detergent. Do not
use strong acids, bases or alcohol when cleaning. See
user manual.
