The Home S7CD shredder shreds paper,staples, magnetic strip and
ID chip cards, as well as CDs, DVDs and Blu-rayDiscs.
Àou may not shred: continuous stationery,adhesive labels, Rlm,
newsprint, cardboard, paper clips, laminates or plastic (with the ex-
ception of the aforementioned items).

ter referred to as unit) giving you important information on the intended
use, safety,connection as well as operation of the unit.
The instruction manual has to be kept near the unit at all times. It has

faults of the unit.

{Remove all packagingmaterials from the device.
{Do not place the device in ahot, wet or very humid environment.
{Place the device on alevel, horizontal surface so that it is stable.
{The socket must be easily accessiblesothat the power supply can
be disconnected quickly in case of an emergency.
{Before you connect the device, compare the connection data for
the device (voltage and frequency) on the type plate with that of
your mains power supply.This data must match to avoid damage
to the device.
{Keep the connection cable away from hot surfaces and sharp
edges.
{Lay all cables so that they do not pose atrippinghazard.
{Do not bend or crush the cable.

{Observe that the thickness of the paper increases when folded,
thus possibly exceeding the maximum page capacity.

{Slide the operating switch (4) to the “Auto” position. The device is
ready for use.

{Insert the paper into the centre of the feed shaft (6). The cutting
rollers are switched on automatically.
{Let go of the paper.The device switches back to standby mode
after shredding is completed.

tEmpty the bin frequently in order to prevent damage to the
device.

{Slide the operatingswitch (4) to the “Rev/CD” position. The rollers
begin turning continuously and the device is ready for shredding
CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray discs and plastic cards.
{To shred CDs, DVDs or Blu-ray discs, pull up the cover and place
the materials in the middle of the feed shaft (3).
{To shredplastic cards, place them in the middle of the opening (3)
that is labelled “Inlet of credit card”.
{Let go of the CD, DVD, Blu-ray disc or plastic card.
{After shredding is complete, slide the operating switch (4) to the
“Off” position in order to switch the device off, or slide it to “Auto”
to switch to standby mode for paper and plastic card shredding.

tThese modes serve to remove any blockages in the cutter
system.
{Slide the operating switch (4) to the “Rev/CD” position. The rollers
of the paper cutting system rotate in the opposite direction.
{Slide the operating switch (4) to the “Auto” position.
{Switch approximately three times successivelybetween the posi-
tions “Rev/CD” and “Auto”.
{Switch offthe device and remove the jammed paper or plastic card
from the feed shaft (6).

position.
{Lift the cutting shredder headoff of the waste bin (8).
{Empty the bin.

Clean the unit with adry cloth. In case of heavy soiling, the cloth may
be moistened abit.

Home S7CD (nachfolgend als Gerät bezeichnet) und gibt Ihnen wich-

heit, den Anschluss sowie die Bedienung des Gerätes.
Die Bedienungsanleitung muss ständig in der Nähe des Gerätes verfüg-

{Entfernen Sie alleVerpackungseinheiten um das Gerät herum.
{Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in einer heißen, nassen oder sehr feuch-

{Platzieren Sie das Gerät standsicher auf einer ebenen, waagerech-
ten UnterPäche.
{Die Steckdose muss leicht zugänglich sein, so dass die Netzverbin-
dung notfalls schnell getrennt werden kann.
{Vergleichen Sie vor dem Anschließen des Gerätes die Anschluss-
daten des Gerätes (Spannung und Frequenz) auf dem Typenschild
mit denen Ihres Elektronetzes. Diese Daten müssen übereinstim-
men, damit keine Schäden am Gerät auftreten.
{Schützen Sie die Anschlussleitung vor heißen OberPächen und
scharfen Kanten.
{Verlegen Sie alle Kabel so, dass sie keine Stolpergefahr darstellen.

{Führen Sie das Papier mittig in den Einzugsschacht (6) ein. Die
Schneidewalzen werden automatisch eingeschaltet.
{Lassen Sie das Papier los. Nach Beendigung des Schneidevor-
gangs schaltet das Gerät wieder in den Bereitschaftsmodus.

tEntleeren Sie den Behälter regelmäßig um eine Beschädi-
gung desGerätes zu vermeiden.

{Schieben Sie den Bedienschalter (4) auf die Position „Rev/CD“.
Die Walzen fangen an sich dauernd zu drehen und das Gerät ist
bereit zum Zerschneiden von CDs/DVDs/BluRays/Plastikkarten.
{Zum Zerschneiden von CDs, DVDs oder BluRays klappen Sie die
Abdeckung nach oben und führen das Mediummittig in den Ein-
zugsschacht (3) ein.
{Zum Zerschneiden von Plastikkarten führen Sie diese mittig in die
Öffnung (3) mit der Beschriftung „Inlet of credit card“ ein.
{Lassen Sie dieCD, DVD, BluRay oder Plastikkarte los.
{Nach Beendigung des Schneidvorganges schieben Sie den Be-
dienschalter (4) in die Position „Off“ um das Gerät auszuschalten,
oder „Auto“ um in die betriebsbereitschaft für Papier- und Plastik-
kartenvernichtung zu wechseln.

tDiese Betriebsart dient dazu, eine Blockierung
des Schneidewerks wieder zu lösen.
{Schieben Sie den Bedienschalter (4) auf die Position „Rev/CD“.
Die Walzen des Papier-Schneidwerks drehen sich in umgekehrter
Richtung.
{Schieben Sie den Bedienschalter (4) auf die Position „Auto“.
{Wechseln Sie ca. drei Mal hintereinanderzwischen den Positionen
„Rev/CD“ und „Auto“.
{Schalten Sie das Gerät aus und entfernen Sie das gestaute
Schnittgut aus dem Einzugsschacht (6).
