qIf the solar panel is covered by a protective lm, remove it before using
the product. Remove the pull-tab from the battery door. Place the solar
light in a location where it can receive a full 8 hours of sunlight to allow
the rechargeable battery/batteries to reach maximum capacity.
qIf the soil is of a loose, sandy or organic type, grasp the post with both
hands near the spike and rmly push into the ground.
qIf the soil is hard, pour some water onto the ground to soften it.
qIf the soil is stony, soften the ground with a rake or shovel and remove
large rocks. Dig a small hole, insert the xture spike, replace the soil and
tap down.
qNever push the xture into the ground by the xture head.
qAttach the spike (D) to the post (C) by pressing them together and press
the post into the bottom of the cage base (B).
qInstall the bulb on the top cap (A) by turning it clockwise to lock on
the base.
qInstall the top cap (A) by turning it clockwise on top of the cage (B).
qRemove the top cap (A) by turning it counterclockwise.
qRemove the bulb by turning it counterclockwise.
qRemove the battery cover.
qRemove the old battery and replace with 1 new AA NiMh
rechargeable battery of same or greater mAh.
(USE RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES ONLY).
qBe sure to insert the battery in proper direction.
qReplace the battery cover.
qReplace the bulb by turning it clokwise.
qReplace the top cap by turning clockwise.

CAUTION: The light element is fragile. Please be careful not to touch when
removing the bulb to change the battery.
WARNING: When planting the spike ensure that there are no underground utility
lines or pipes.
NOTE: This operation should be done in the morning on a sunny day. This will allow
the light to receive a full 8 hours of sunlight so that the rechargeable battery can reach
maximum capacity.
Note: Clean the battery contacts and those of the device prior to battery installation.

qClean the xture with a soft, dry cloth.
qDo not use any cleaners with chemicals, solvents or harsh abrasives.
WHAT IS COVERED
The manufacturer warrants this lighting xture to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of
purchase. This warranty applies only to the original consumer and only to products used in normal use and service. If this product is found to be
defective, the manufacturer’s only obligation, and your exclusive remedy, is the repair or replacement of the product at the manufacturer’s discretion,
provided that the product has not been damaged through misuse, abuse, accident, modications, alterations, neglect or mishandling.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
This warranty shall not apply to any product that is found to have been improperly installed, set-up, or used in any way not in accordance with the
instructions supplied with the product. This warranty shall not apply to a failure of the product as a result of an accident, misuse, abuse, negligence,
alteration or faulty installation, or any other failure not relating to faulty material or workmanship. This warranty shall not apply to the nish on any
portion of the product, such as surface and/or weathering, as this is considered normal wear and tear.
The manufacturer does not warrant and specially disclaims any warranty, whether express or implied, of tness for a particular purpose, other than
the warranty contained herein. The manufacturer specically disclaims any liability and shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental loss or
damage, including but not limited to any labor / expense costs involved in the replacement or repair of said product.

If the light does not turn on at dusk after 8 hours of charging :
qEnsure that the solar light is in a bright sunny location and not in a shady area during the day.
qMake sure that the light’s photocell is not affected by other light sources at night.
qEnsure that the pull-tab has been removed.
qVerify that the battery/batteries are making contact with the terminal and that they have been inserted in the correct polarity.

qSi el panel solar está cubierto por una película protectora, retírela antes de
usar el producto. Retire la lengüeta de tirar de la puerta de la batería. Coloque
la lámpara solar en un lugar donde pueda recibir 8 horas completas de luz
solar para que la(s) batería(s) recargable(s) alcance(n) su capacidad máxima.
qSi el suelo es de un tipo ojo, arenoso u orgánico, sujete el poste con
ambas manos cerca de la estaca y presione con rmeza en el suelo.
qSi el suelo es duro, vierta un poco de agua sobre el suelo para ablandarlo.
qSi el suelo es pedregoso, ablande el suelo con un rastrillo o pala y retire
las rocas grandes. Haga un agujero pequeño, inserte la estaca del
dispositivo, vuelva a colocar el suelo golpee.
qNunca empuje el dispositivo en el suelo por el cabezal del dispositivo.
qInstale la estaca (D) en el poste (C) presionando ambos y presione
el poste en el fondo de la base de la jaula (B).
qInstale la bombilla en la tapa de la cubierta (A) girándola hacia la derecha
para que se bloquee en la base.
qInstale la tapa de la cubierta (A) girándola hacia la derecha en la parte
superior de la jaula (B).
qExtraiga la tapa de la cubierta (A) girándola hacia la izquierda.
qExtraiga la bombilla girándola hacia la izquierda.
qRetire la cubierta de la batería.
q Retire la batería vieja y cámbiela por una batería recargable nueva
tamaño AA de NiMh igual o mayor que mAh.
(USE SOLO BATERÍAS RECARGABLES).
qAsegúrese de insertar la batería en la dirección correcta.
qVuelva a colocar la cubierta de la batería.
qCambie la batería girándola hacia la derecha.
qVuelva a colocar la tapa de la cubierta girándola hacia la derecha.

PRECAUCIÓN: El elemento de luz es frágil. Tenga cuidado de no tocarlo cuando

El fabricante garantiza que esta luminaria está libre de defectos en materiales y mano de obra por un periodo de dos (2) años a partir de la fecha de
compra. Esta garantía aplica únicamente al comprador consumidor nal y únicamente para los productos utilizados en condiciones de uso y servicio
normales.
Si este producto está defectuoso, la única obligación del fabricante y su exclusiva solución, es reparar o reemplazar el producto a discreción del fabricante,
siempre y cuando el producto no ha sido dañado por mal uso, abuso, accidente, modicaciones, alteraciones, negligencia o mal manejo.

Esta garantía no aplicará a ningún producto que se detecte que se haya instalado, congurado o usado incorrectamente de alguna manera que no sea

Si la lámpara no enciende al anochecer después de 8 horas de carga:
qAsegúrese de que la lámpara solar se encuentre en un lugar bajo sol brillante y no en un área con sombra durante el día.
qAsegúrese de que la fotocelda de la lámpara no resulte afectada por otras fuentes de luz en la noche.
qAsegúrese de haber retirado la lengüeta de tirar.
qVerique que la(s) batería/baterías esté(n) haciendo contacto con la terminal y que haya(n) sido insertada(s) en la polaridad correcta.
