Welcome to Who Wants To Be A Millionaire! With this travel game, you will be
able to take the excitement everywhere, but there are a few things you should
know before you get started.
Cover – rotates to reveal game screen
Clip – clips to your purse, backpack or belt loop
Screen – displays questions, answers, score and other game information
Go Home/Enter – used to end the game and “Go Home” and to confirm your
“final answer”
Reset – used to reset the game
Answer Buttons – used to make your answer choice
Repeat/Score – used to repeat the questions and answer choices and to display
your score
CHANGING THE BATTERIES
Your Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Travel Game comes with two (2) button cell
batteries. If your unit becomes unresponsive, or difficult to read, the batteries
may need to be replaced.
Using a Phillips®screwdriver, loose the screw from the battery compartment door
on the back of the unit. Remove battery compartment door.
Using a sharp, non-metallic item, remove the existing batteries.
Insert 2 LR44 batteries making sure that the “+” is facing you.
Replace battery compartment door and tighten screw.

The question and answer choices will automatically scroll across the top line of
the screen. When the question and answers have finished scrolling, the 30-second
timer will start.
To see the question and answer choices again, press REPEAT/SCORE. The
timer will stop while the question repeats.
Use the ANSWER BUTTONS to make your answer choice. Your choice will be
displayed on the top line of the screen. If the answer is too long to be displayed
entirely, it will scroll once. Then the answer choice letter and the first few characters
of the answer will be displayed.
“IS THAT YOUR FINALANSWER?” will scroll across the bottom line.
If you want to change your answer, press a different ANSWER BUTTON.
If it IS your final answer, press ENTER.
If you answered correctly, “YOU’RE RIGHT!” will appear on the screen. You will
be awarded the prize money for the question. The screen will display the next
question level and you will advance to the next level.
Play will continue in this way until you answer incorrectly, choose to go home or
answer the $1,000,000 question.
If you answer a question incorrectly, “SORRY INCORRECT” will scroll across the
top line of the screen, followed by the correct answer choice (A, B, C or D).
Your “TOTAL PRIZE MONEY” will scroll across the screen to announce your total
winnings for the game and the game is over.
The HIGH SCORE for the game will be displayed. The game will prompt, “PRESS
ENTER TO PLAYAGAIN.” If you want to start a new game, press ENTER.
NOTE: To check your score during the game, press REPEAT/SCORE after you
press the ANSWER BUTTON, but before you press ENTER. The unit will display
your current score, then it will repeat the question and answer choices.

To ensure proper function
• Do not mix old and new batteries
• Do not mix alkaline, standard or rechargeable batteries
• Battery insertion should be done by an adult
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged
(if removable)
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision
(if removable)
• Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used
• Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity
• Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy
• The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited
DO NOT DISPOSE OF BATTERIES IN FIRE,
BATTERIES MAY EXPLODE OR LEAK.
LET’S PLAY
To turn on the game, press any key.
“CONTRASTADJUST” will appear on the screen. Use the four ANSWER
BUTTONS to adjust the contrast level. Ais the lightest setting and Dis the darkest
setting. To return to the default setting, press REPEAT/SCORE.
When you have the desired contrast level, press ENTER.
“SCROLLING SPEED” will scroll across the screen on the top line. Use the
ANSWER BUTTONS to adjust the speed.Ais the fastest setting and D is the
slowest setting. To return to the default setting, press REPEAT/SCORE.
When you have the desired scrolling speed, press ENTER.
“WHO WANTS TO BEAMILLIONAIRE” will scroll across the top line.
The game will start with the $100 question, just like on TV.
The screen will display the question level, then move automatically to the question.
The game will display the correct answer, your SCORE, the HIGH SCORE and
then prompt you to play again.
SCORING
Your score is based on the value of the questions answered correctly. Scoring
is NOT cumulative, but is broken down into three plateaus -- $1,000, $32,000,
$1,000,000. The PRIZE TABLE is listed below.

If you do want to end the game, press GO HOME/ENTER. The game will display
your SCORE, then the HIGH SCORE achieved on the game.
If you do not want to end the game, press any ANSWER BUTTON. The game
will display the question and answer choices. Answer the question as described
earlier.
You can GO HOME after choosing an answer. When the game asks, “IS THAT
YOUR FINALANSWER?” press REPEAT/SCORE. The game will repeat the
questions and answer choices.
If you decide to end the game, press GO HOME and follow the steps for ending
the game described earlier.
If you decide NOT to end the game, press an ANSWER BUTTON. The game
will display your answer choice and will ask you to confirm your choice.
TIMER
The 30-second timer is displayed on the bottom line of the screen and will alternate
with FINALANSWER? It starts after the last answer choice scrolls across the
screen.
It will only stop if you press REPEAT. If you have not confirmed your FINAL
ANSWER before the timer runs out, OUT OF TIME will scroll across the screen
and the game will be over.

EXAMPLE #1: You answer the $500 question correctly, your score is $500. You
answer the $1,000 question incorrectly. Because you did not reach the first
plateau, your score is $0.
EXAMPLE #2: You answer the $16,000 question correctly, your score is $16,000.
You answer the $32,000 question incorrectly. Because you successfully reached
the first plateau (the $1,000 question), you get to keep that prize and your score
is $1,000.
EXAMPLE #3: You answer the $125,000 correctly, your score is $125,000. You
realize that you don’t know the answer to the $250,000 question. You decide to
“go home.” Your prize is $125,000.
If you answer the $1,000,000 question correctly, “WELL DONE! YOU’RE A
MILLIONAIRE” will be displayed on the screen. The game is over.
The HIGH SCORE will be displayed and you will be prompted to play again.
90-DAY LIMITED WARRANTY
Tiger Electronics (Tiger), warrants to the original consumer purchaser of this
product that the product will be free from defects in material or workmanship for
90 days from the date of original purchase. This warranty does not cover damages
resulting from accident, negligence, improper service or use or other causes not
arising out of defects in materials or workmanship.
During this 90-day warranty period, the product will either be repaired or replaced
(at Tiger's option) without charge to the purchaser, when returned with proof of the
date of purchase to either the dealer or to Tiger.
Product returned to Tiger without proof of date of purchase or after the 90-day
warranty period has expired, but prior to one year from the original date of purchase,
will be repaired or replaced (at Tiger's option) for a service fee of $5.00. Payment
must be by check or money order payable to Tiger Electronics
The foregoing states the purchaser's sole and exclusive remedy for any
breach of warranty with respect to the product.
All products returned must be shipped prepaid and insured for loss or damage to:

The product should be carefully packed in the original box or other packing materials
sufficient to avoid damage during shipment. Include a complete written description
of the defect, a check if product is beyond the 90-day warranty period, and your

THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND NO OTHER
REPRESENTATIONS OR CLAIMS OF ANY NATURE SHALL BE BINDING ON
OR OBLIGATE TIGER IN ANY WAY. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIESAPPLICABLE
TO THIS PRODUCT, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE NINETY (90)
DAY PERIOD DESCRIBED ABOVE. IN NO EVENT WILL TIGER BE LIABLE
FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
RESULTING FROM POSSESSION, USE, OR MALFUNCTION OF THIS TIGER
PRODUCT.
Some states do not allow limitations as to how long an implied warranty lasts
and/or exclusions or limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so the
above limitations and/or exclusions of liability may not apply to you. This warranty
gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state
to state.

GO HOME
At any question level, you can decide to take the money you have won and “go
home.” If, after reading the question and answer choices, you decide to end the
game early, press GO HOME/ENTER.
The screen will display, “GO HOME?”
AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF
Your game unit will shut off automatically after three minutes of non-use.
RESETTING YOUR GAME
If your unit begins acting erratically, or becomes unresponsive, use a ballpoint
pen to press the RESET button.
CAUTION
High temperature will
destroy the unit. Do not
leave unit in direct
sunlight.
Clean only with a piece
of soft dry cloth.
Do not use a pencil or pin
to press the RESET
switch. Use a ball-point
pen.
Do not press the liquid
crystal display and avoid
heavy shock or the
display may fail.
