6.1 Install Caster Wheels
The folloing procedre is for Recirclaing Venilaion, hereb filered air is
discharged from he boom of he ni and reinrodced ino he facili.
For Oside Venilaion applicaions, here filered air is ened o of he
facili, skip Secion 6.1 and refer o he Oside Ven Adapor insallaion
insrcions in Secion 6.2.
6.1.1 Place he ni on is side on a fla srface, as shon in Fig. 1.
6.1.2 Locae he for (4) Caser Wheels and he Scredrier.
6.1.3 Unscre and remoe he scres ha are pre-moned ono he Base
Plae, on he boom of he ni. There are for (4) scres per heel,
for a oal of sieen (16) scres.
6.1.4 Align he holes of he Caser Wheel Mon ih he holes on he Base
Plae and se for (4) scres o secrel mon each Caser Wheel
o he Base Plae one b one.

VI. Installation Instructions
6.2 Install Outside Vent Adapter (Optional)
Noe, Oside Venilaion is an opional feare and reqires insallaion of he
oside en componens o reconfigre he ole for discharge of filered air.
The oside en componens consis of one (1) Ole Flange and one (1)
Base Blank-Off Plae.
6.2.1 Unscre and remoe he scres ha are pre-moned ono he Base
Plae, on he boom of he ni. There are for (4) scres per heel,
for a oal of sieen (16) scres.
6.2.2 Posiion he Base Blank-Off Plae on he Base Plae, sch ha he
scre holes of he Base Blank-Off Plae align ih he scre holes on
he Base Plae, as shon in Fig. 2.

VI. Installation Instructions
6.2 Install Outside Vent Adapter (Optional)
6.2.3 Re-insall he sieen (16) scres o secre he Base Blank-Off Plae
o he Base Plae, hich ill preen discharge of air from he boom
of he ni.
6.2.4 The ni has (2) o 4Oside Ven Ole Pors, ha enable i o
ehas air from he back or side depending on hich configraion is
preferred. Each Ole Por is sealed ih an Ole Por Coer Plae,
as shon in Fig. 3.

6.2.5 Deermine hich Ole Por ill be sed for oside ening, and hen

VII. Operation Guidelines
7.1 System Positioning
Place he HealhAirAir Prificaion Ssem in he desired locaion and place he
Acosic Ma nder he ni o dampen is sond.
7.2 System Activation
7.2.1 Plg he Poer Cord ino he Poer Socke, locaed on he boom of he
side panel of he ni, and hen plg he oher end of he cord ino a all
poer socke.
Once plgged in, he Poer indicaor ligh [ ill rn on and displa
aredligh.
7.2.2 Aciae he ni b pressing he Poer bon locaed on he Conrol
Panel, shon in Fig. 6, or on he Remoe Conrol.
Once he ni is poered, he moor ill sar ih he Fan Speed se o
he Mid-Speed and he eHEPA indicaor ill ligh p and displa a green
ligh, hich indicaes ha he eHEPA ssem is aciae.
7.3 System Controls
Each of he respecie conrol elemens shon on he Conrol Panel Displa in
Fig. 6 ork as follos:
SPEED bon, on he Conrol Panel and Remoe Conrol, adjss he
olme of airflo being aken in hrogh he hood. Airflo speed can be
adjsed o one of hree seings: Lo Mid High Speed.
eHEPA bon, on he Conrol Panel and Remoe Conrol, rns he eGrid
on and off. When he eGrid is poered he smbol aboe he eHEPA
bon, as ell as he eGrid Acie ligh, ill rn green. Pressing he
eHEPA bon once more ill sh off he eGrid and rn off he indicaor
ligh.

VII. Operation Guidelines
7.3 System Controls
TIMER bon, on he Conrol Panel and Remoe Conrol, is for operaion
of he iming clock. When his feare is in se he ni ill aomaicall
sh off afer he se ime epires. The ssems defal iming is 4 hors of
operaion.
To se he imer manall, press he TIMER bon once for eer hor o
ish o rn he machine (i.e. press TIMER once for 1-hor of rn ime,
press TIMER ice for 2-hors of rn ime, press TIMER hree imes for
3-hors of rn ime, and press TIMER for imes for 4-hors of rn ime).
If he TIMER bon is pressed fie (5) imes, sch ha i passes hrogh
he complee iming schedle, i ill rn coninosl nil he ni is
manall rned off.
LIGHT bon, on he Conrol Panel and Remoe Conrol, is inacie.
eGrid Active indicaor ligh, on he Conrol Panel, indicaes he sas of
he eHEPA and eGrid ssem. When he eGrid Acie indicaor ligh is on,
hile he eHEPA bon is on, he eGrid is fncioning properl. If he eGrid
Acie indicaor ligh is off, hile he eHEPA bon is on, i signals ha he
eGrid is malfncioning and he ni reqires serice.

VIII. Filter Replacement
8.1 Replacement Filter
The HealhAirPorable Air Prificaion Ssem (HA-PAP-G3) ilies he
HealthyAir® Series 1111 Integrated Filter Module (HA-IFM-1111).
Noe ha, onl manfacrer spplied HealhAir Replacemen Filers are
compaible ih HealhAir Sorce Capre Ssems. No oher replacemen
filers are o be sed ih his ni. The improper se of non-manfacrer
spplied filers ill oid an poenial arran claim.
8.2 Filter Change
When he ni has been in operaion for 400-hors, he Filer Change indicaor
ligh, on he Conrol Panel, ill begin o flash indicaing ha he filers ms be
replaced as follos:
Note: Depending on sage and conaminaes in he enironmen, he filer ma
need o be replaced before he 400-hor defal ccle epires. Conac a
represenaie o deermine if o need o replace he filer more freqenl.
8.2.1 Trn he Poer Off and nplg he Poer Cord from he Poer Socke.
8.2.2 Remoe he Access Door b nscreing he o (2) Thmb Scres, as
shon in shon in Fig. 7.

VIII. Filter Replacement
8.2 Filter Change
8.2.3 Remoe he sed Inegraed Filer Modle.
Caution: The HV Conac Spring ma sore a sligh charge een afer
he ni is poered off. Aoid direc conac ih he HV Conac Spring.
8.2.4 Insall a ne Inegraed Filer Modle (HA-IFM-1111) ino he Filer
Comparmen, as shon in Fig. 8. Ensre ha he plasic rap is
remoed prior o insalling he replacemen filer.
8.2.5 Reinsall he Access Door, ensring ha he Access Door is properl
insered back ino is rack. Once he Access Door is properl aligned
and se in place, secre i b screing in he Thmb Scres.
Noe ha, if he Access Door ms be properl insalled o engage he
Safe Sich. If he Safe Sich is no engaged, he ni ill no
poer on.
8.2.6 Plg he Poer Cord back ino he Poer Socke and all socke.

VIII. Filter Replacement
8.3 Filter Change Indicator Light Reset
Once he filer has been replaced and he ni is poered on, he Filer Change
indicaor ligh ma conine o flash. To rese he filer change imer and
deaciae he flashing ligh, go hrogh he folloing rese procedre:
8.3.1 Unplg he Poer Cord from he Poer Socke, ai a cople seconds
and plg he Poer Cord back ino he Poer Socke.
8.3.2 Press and hold don he Poer Bon [ ]onheConrolPanel(no
he Remoe Conrol) for fie (5) seconds.
8.3.3 Afer fie (5) seconds, release he Poer Bon. The filer change imer
ill rese o 400-hors, afer hich he Filer Change indicaor ligh ill
sh off.

IX. Maintenance

9.1 Cleaning The Filter
To eend he effecie life of he Inegraed Filer Modle, remoe he filer
from he ni and se a sandard acm o remoe colleced pariclae from
he Pre-Filer secion.
9.2 Cleaning Filter Compartment
Visall inspec he inerior of he Filer Comparmen hen he filer is
remoed from he ni dring he filer replacemen process. If pariclae has
accmlaed in he Filer Comparmen, clean he inerior of he ni as follos:
9.2.1 Trn he Poer Off, nplg he Poer Cord from he Poer Socke,
remoe he Access Door, and remoe he filer from he ni.
9.2.2 Vacm and remoe an debris ha has accmlaed in he filer
comparmen and adjacen accessible areas of he inerior of he ni.
9.2.3 Properl replace he Access Door, as described in Secion 8.2.

professionall licensed elecrician.
