•DO NOT connect the heater to the mains source
until it has been installed in its final location and
adjusted to the position it will be used in.
•DO NOT operate with the cord coiled up as this
could cause a build up of heat, which could pose a
hazard.
• The use of an extension lead with this heater is not
recommended.
•DO NOT twist, kink or wrap the cord around the
heater, as this may cause the insulation to weaken
and split.
• Children of less than 3 years should be kept away
unless continuously supervised.
• Children aged above 3 years and less than 8 years
shall only switch on/off the heater provided that it has
been placed or installed in its intended normal
operating position, and they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the
heater in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than
8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the
heater or perform user maintenance.
• This heater can be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the heater in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children
shall not play with the heater.
Important Safety Instructions
•WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not
cover the heater.
•WARNING: FIRE RISK EXISTS IF THE HEATER IS
COVERED BY OR POSITIONED CLOSE TO
COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS.
• Use only the voltage specified on the rating plate of
the heater.
•ONLY connect the heater to a properly installed
socket-outlet with earth contact.
• The heater must be handled with care,
•DO NOT use the heater in areas where flammable
liquids are used or stored.
• The heater will become hot when in use and also for
a period after shutdown. DO NOT touch until the
heater is completely cool.
•DO NOT insert or allow foreign objects to enter the
guard grill, as this may cause an electric shock, fire
or damage to the heater.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
a suitably qualified electrician in order to avoid a
hazard.
• Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any
other use is not recommended by the manufacturer
and may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
• The swivel bracket must not be adjusted while the
heater is in use! Risk of burns! Allow the heater to
cool down fully before adjusting the bracket.
• The heater must not be located immediately below a
socket-outlet

•CAUTION: Some parts of this heater can become
very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to
be given where children and vulnerable people are
present.
• The guard of this heater is intended to prevent direct
access to heating elements and must be in place when
the heater is in use
Before Installation
Safe distances required for installation – see figure 1
The heater must only be operated in
a horizontal position with max ±5°
angle left/right.
The heater must be at least 1.8m
above the ground.
The distance of the heater from a
side wall or corner should be a
minimum of 0.50m.
The distance of the heater from
combustible materials must be a
minimum of 0.5m.
The distance of the heater from a
ceiling must be min 0.5 meter.
Electrical
IMPORTANT
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following
code:
Green and Yellow = Earth;
Blue; = Neutral
Brown; = Live
WARNING
The mains lead is made from high temperature cable and as such
should not be replaced without consulting a suitable qualified electrician.
The fitting must be earthed.

Installation

The HSQH3000 Heater is supplied with 1.8m pre-fitted cable and all the
required fixings in the box.
Fixings supplied: 6 x ST4*35 screws; 6 x wall plugs; 4 x M6*14 bolts and
butterfly nuts; Tools needed: Drill, screwdriver and the Allen Key supplied.
According to where
the product installation
location is, use a
power drill to make six
8mm round holes.
• NOTE: Install the
unit a minimum
height of 1.8m
above the floor.
Step 1: see figure 2.

Insert the six plastic
wall anchors into the
six holes.
Step 2: see figure 3.
Fix the brackets using
six ST4*35 screws
and make sure the
installation points are
fixed securely.
Step 3:
Fix the brackets to
the heater using four
M6*14 screws and
butterfly nuts.
Step 4:

HSQH3000 is also
supplied with a fixing
template for ease of
installation.

Switching on for the first use
After switching on the heater for the first time and following extended
periods on non-use, the heater may smell for a short time.
It is normal to see two dark points on the bulb element in the following
few minutes of switching on. This is normal, and will not affect the
performance of the unit.
Attention! Do not look into the light.
Cleaning
Disconnect the heater from the power supply;
After the heater has cooled down, the housing can be wiped dry;
Do not touch the bulb element with your fingers,
The reflector should be cleaned regularly,
Do not use any abrasive or caustic cleaning agents
Never immerse the heater in water
Any maintenance or repairs should only be carried out by a qualified
electrician.
Correct Disposal of this product
This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other
household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the
environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it
responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To return
your used device, please use the return and collection systems or contact the
retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product for
environmental safe recycling.
