correctly and safely if it is transpor-
ted, stored, installed and assembled
properly and correctly. F rthermore,

Safety Guidelines
Power Supply
䡺Switch the basic devices on only when
the case is closed.
zWarning!
The devices may only be connected
to the s pply voltage shown on the
type plate.
The devices are designed for opera-
tion with a safety extra-low voltage.
Th s, they may only be connected
to the s pply voltage connections
with PELV circ its or alternatively
SELV circ its with the voltage
restrictions in accordance with
IEC/EN 60950.
䡺For the case where the mod le is opera-
ted with external power s pply: Use only a
safety extra-low voltage in accordance with
IEC 950/EN 60 950/VDE 0805 to power the
system.
䡺First of all yo connect the protecting
line, before yo establish the f rther
connections. When yo remove connec-
tions, yo disconnect the protecting line
last.
䡺Relevant for North America:
The s bject nit is to be s ppplied by a
Class 2 power so rce complying with the
req irements of the National Electrical
Code, table 11(b). If power is red ndant
s pplied (two individ al power so rces) the
power so rces together sho ld comply with
the req irements of the National Electrical
Code, table 11 (b).

Use 60/75°C or 75°C copper(CU)wire only.

installed in residential or b siness premises
the device may only be operated in fire-
proof cabinets.
