System Start-Up
1.Plugthepowertransformerinto anap-
provedpowersource.Connectthepower
cord to thevalve.
2.Whenpowerissuppliedto thecontrol,the
screenwill display“INITIALIZING WAIT
PLEASE” whileit findstheserviceposition.
3.ManuallystepthevalvepasttheBRINE
positiontotheBACKWASHposition.If
screenislocked, press SETTINGS for3
secondsto unlock.Press andholdthe
MANUL REGEN.Keyfor3seconds.Press
any keyto skip theBRINEcycle.
4.OnceintheBACKWASHcycle,openthe
inletonthebypass valveslowlyandallow
watertoentertheunit. Allow all air to es-
capefromtheunitbeforeturningthewa-
teronfullythenallowwatertorun to
drainfor3-4minutes oruntil all media
fines arewashedoutofthesoftenerindi-
catedbyclearwaterinthedrainhose.
5.Press any buttontoadvanceto theRINSE
position.Checkthedrainlineflow. Allow
thewaterto run for3-4minutesoruntil
thewaterisclear.
6.Press any buttonto advanceto theREFILL
position.Checkthatthevalveisfillingwa-
terinto thebrinetank.Allow thevalveto
refill forthefull amountoftimeasdis-
playedonthescreentoinsureaproper
brinesolutionforthenext regeneration.
7.Thevalvewill automaticallyadvancetothe
SERVICE position.Opentheoutletvalve
onthebypass,thenopenthenearest
treatedwaterfaucetandallowthewater
to run until clear,close thetap andreplace
thefaucet screen.
8.Add salt into thecabinet / brinetank.
9.Programunit.

show DELAYEDREGENOFF.
IMMEDIATEREGENERATION
To startanimmediateregeneration(orstep
valvethrougheachposition), press and hold
theMANUALREGEN. Buttonfor3seconds
(until beeps). Thevalvewill startanimmedi-
ateregeneration.Press any keyto skip to
thenext cycle.
