General Dimensions
Safety
Stages of the installaon may require the use of personal protecon
equipment.
When working at heights refer to HSE guidance.

Ground Fixing Detail
 It is the responsibility of the installer to ensure that
the foundaons are suitable for the ground
condions.
 The base plate supplied with the Circonomy shelter
is drilled with Ø19 holes.
 The installer should ensure that the ground xings
are sucient to secure the Circonomy shelter to
the foundaons.

Frame Assembly

The legs are supplied undrilled. Do not drill
unl frame is built & level.
Levelling should be done before sheets are
xed.
Bolt legs to fully assembled, levelled frame
using M12 x 70mm socket buon head
screws.
Fit the top and the base
purlins to the side panels
using M10 x 70 socket dome
head screws.
Bolt the centre trimmer to the
top and base purlins using
M10 x 70 socket dome head
screws.
Please take care when
posioning the centre trimmer
as it is handed.
The sequence of images is not representave of assembly order, use as a
guide for bolt selecon only.

Before ghtening all
bolts, ensure that the
framework is square.
Fit the intermediate purlins
between the end panels and the
centre trimmer.
Use M10 x 70mm socket dome
head screws to bolt to the end
panels.
Use M10 x 80mm socket buon
head screws to bolt through the
centre trimmer.
Fit plasc caps to the end panels.

Before ng the sheet, IAE advise that the mid purlins are pre drilled using a drill screw. Drill
unl it starts to thread then remove and clean to remove all swarf. See Fig 11.
·Make sure to allow a 10mm gap between the two sheets.
·Pre drill ø10mm holes in sheet rst to match purlins.
·Fix the sheet to the mid purlins using 5.5x32mm drill screws.

accept.

Fit 50x3mm cover strips using 5.5x32 drill screws.
When ng these strips it is important that you work from one end.

Apply 19mm wide tape to the strip before ng.

Cycle Racks

Ensure sucient xings are used to secure the cycle rack to the ground.
The holes to bolt the cycle rack to the ground are Ø13.5mm.
Cycle racks are supplied as an oponal extra.
Installaon will vary depending on the opon purchased.
NOTE: The hoops must be bolted to the rails before the rails are bolted to the
ground.

Maintenance
Roune visual inspecon
Cycle storage equipment may be subject to heavy use or vandalism, weekly inspecon of this
type can be necessary.
Examples of frame inspecon points are:
Cleanliness.
Rigidity of cycle hoops.
Tightness of all xings.
Signs of corrosion or wear.
Missing parts.
Structural integrity.
Maintenance of plasc sheeng:
Wipe down regularly with warm soapy water using a non-abrasive cloth.
Check for surface damage.
Light scus and scratches can be repaired by dusng with hot air gun or pencil torch ame.
Cracked or severely damaged panels should be removed and replaced.
