AUTOMATED MODES
The ATP is an automated mode that enables the measurement of light,
medium, and deep block of the patient.
The ATP adapts automatically TOF and PTC measurements depending on the
patient level of neuromuscular block.
To nd the ATP, go to the PTC menu and select ATP.
Press and hold the wheel button for 2 seconds to start the mode. There are no
other actions required thereafter.
To stop the ATP, press the wheel button and the device will automatically
interrupt the mode.

Attach your sensor cable to the ToFscan device to get a
green connection symbol
Prepare and clean the skin for electrodes placement
Check the stimulation current (50mA by default)

START-UP
4Position the splint to the patient
Ensure thumb is sitting ush on the thumb pad and
the index nger is positionned in the loop.

Ensure the skin is clean and healthy.
Start to measure

• Press and navigate wheel to the desired mode.
• Press and hold for at least 2 seconds the wheel
button to start the electrical stimulation.

Cleaning of the ToFscan

Ensure there is battery available
Place ECG electrodes on the ulnar nerve
• Space between electrodes: 2 to 5 cm (0.8in-2in)
• Red clamp = proximal electrode.
• Black clamp = distal electrode.

Only a good impedance allows the
ToFscan to be used in good conditions.
Between each patient, desinfect the device and accessories without
immersing or spaying them.
Careful not to pull down on the sensor wires while cleaning.
9Turn off the device
To turn off the ToFscan, navigate wheel to the power symbol and
hold for 2 seconds
