1. 目的 (Purpose):
CABLINE-CX II PLUG におけるケーブルの半田付け手順及び SHELL-A, LOCK BAR ASS’Y の組み付けについて明記する。
This manual is to explain the soldering method / process of the CABLINE-CX II PLUG with cable,
and assembly of SHELL-A, LOCK BAR ASS’Y.

4. パルスヒート条件[推奨] (Recommended pulse heat condition)
Micro-Coax
①アイドリング温度 (Idle temp.) 150℃
②1st ヒート設定温度 (1st heat temp.) 220℃
③ 〃 立ち上がり時間 ( 〃 rise time) 0.5sec.
④ 〃 維持時間 ( 〃 holding time) 2.0sec.
⑤2nd ヒート設定温度 (2nd heat temp.) 320℃
⑥ 〃 立ち上がり時間 ( 〃 rise time) 0.5sec.
⑦ 〃 維持時間 ( 〃 holding time) 5.0sec.
ヒーターチップ加圧力(Heater tip Pressure) 11N
※パルスヒート条件の評価は弊社のパルスヒート冶具、装置で確認しております。
パルスヒート冶具形状や装置、環境等の違いにより、最適なパルスヒート条件は変わることが予想されます。
貴社で御使用の際は、充分なパルスヒート条件の検討を行っていただくよう御願い致します。
This pulse heat condition was evaluated and confirmed by our pulse heat jig and instruments.
The most optimum condition may change based on the shapes of pulse heat jig and instruments,
the environments, or other reason.
Therefore, please examine the pulse heat condition adequately in advance of use.

5. 作業手順 (Work procedures):
5-1. 芯線の半田付け (Soldering of center-conductor)
①まず適合ケーブルの端末処理形状を下図の様にして下さい。
The cables have to be fabricated as shown below in advance of soldering.

② ディスペンサー等でコンタクトにフラックスを塗布し、全コンタクトにフラックスが塗布されたことを確認して下さい。
Apply flux to contact by the dispenser etc., and please confirm all contacts were applied flux.

※Photo.2 のようにフラックスを塗布し過ぎないで下さい。
フラックスの飛散及びフラックス過多による嵌合部への染み出しの原因となります。
※Please do not apply flux too much like Photo.2. It can cause flux splash or leak to the mating area.

※洗浄機等によるフラックスの洗浄は行わないで下さい。フラックスが嵌合部に付着する可能性が有ります。
※Washer must not be used to take flux off because it may cause flux attached to mating area.

③ 半田付け部に半田バーをセットする。
Pre-set and locate solder bar at center of soldering point.

④ケーブルをセットする。
Set the cable.

※Discrete cable を使用する場合は、Jacket の先端と製品のリブの端が合うようにセットして下さい。
When using a discrete cable, set it so that the end of the jacket and the end of the product rib match.

⑤ 芯線をパルスヒートにて半田付けする。半田付け状態は、photo.3 参照。
Solder the cable center conductor and connector with pulse heater.
See photo.3 of soldering condition.

※万が一、極間が短絡した場合は、再度パルスヒートにて加熱を行って下さい。
製品にダメージを与える恐れがある為、回数は 1 回だけです。
短絡が直らない場合は、NG 箇所のみ半田コテにて手修正して下さい。
※When solder bridge is appeared between the terminal, try heating again with pulse heater
only one time.
If the bridge isn’t repaired, repair only the NG point with a soldering iron.
半田コテの条件 (Condition of Soldering iron) : 50W
半田コテ先温度 (Operating temperature) : 350℃
コテ先当て時間 (Application time of soldering iron) : 5 秒以内 (Within 5sec.)

※Discrete cable を使用する場合は、SHELL-A を取り付ける前に結線部に絶縁テープを貼りつけて下さい。
When using a discrete cable, please apply an insulating tape to the connection before assemble SHELL-A.
注意:芯線の半田付け後、Fig.6 の様にケーブルを煽る等、半田付け箇所に負荷が加わる作業は行わないでください。
半田付け箇所が剥がれる可能性があります。
Caution: Do not forcedly pull the cable toward red arrow direction after soldering or apply
excessive load on the soldered area, or it may peel the solder. (Fig.6)

5.10 0.40 0.07 MAX.
HOUSING 及びケーブルのジャケットには掛からないようにお願いします。
SHELL-A の浮きが発生する可能性があります。
Please do not hang on HOUSING and cable jackets.
It might cause the SHELL-A float.

5-2. SHELL-A 取扱注意事項 (Cautions in treating SHELL A)
SHELL-A はキャリア付きリール状態にて納品されます。SHELL-A をキャリアから折り取る手順を明記します。
SHELL A is delivered in the reel with a carrier. The following is the method to cut SHELL A from Carrier.
①金属用はさみ等を用いて、キャリアを左下写真のカットライン(緑線)にて切断する。
Cut carrier on the cut line of the left below picture (green line) by a scissors for metal.
②SHELL-A の中心部を持ち、±45°の範囲で 1 往復させてノッチ部から切り離す。
もし、切り離れない場合は、この往復動作を繰り返して切り離す。
切り離し後はノッチ折り取り部にバリ発生なきことを確認してください。(Photo.7)
Hold the center of Plug shell-A and cut it off from Notch by ±45 degrees of reciprocating work.
When it does not be cut, try again this reciprocating work.
After separated, check there is no burr around the cut part.(Photo.7)

注意:下写真(赤矢印)の様に無理やり引っ張ったりして切り離すとバリや変形の原因になります。
Caution: By pulling like the photo below to cut off by force (Red arrow direction),
burrs and transformation can be caused.
5-3. LOCK BAR ASS’Y 組み付け (Assembly of LOCK BAR ASS’Y)
Fig.7 の様に LOCK BAR ASS’Y を HOUSING ASS’Y へ組み付ける。
LOCK BAR ASS’Y is assembled to HOUSING ASS’Y.

5-4. SHELL-A 組み付け (Assembly of SHELL-A)
①Fig.8 の様に LOCK BAR ASS’Y をケーブル側に 120°傾け、
HOUSING ASS’Y の上側から SHELL-A の赤斜線部(Fig.9)を押し、組み付ける。
LOCK BAR ASS'Y is tilted to the cable side 120 degrees.
Place the SHELL-A on the upper surface of the HOUSING ASS’Y and push only the red shaded areas
to assemble them.

② SHELL-A,B と Ground Bar を半田コテにて全箇所半田付けする。 (Fig.12,13◆部)
半田コテの条件は、8 頁参照。
SHELL-A, B and Ground Bar are soldered with the soldering iron at all designated points.
(Fig.12,13◆point)
Conditions of Soldering iron refer to sheet 8.

※半田付け時は、コネクタに必要以上の力で半田コテを押し当てないで下さい。
コネクタ変形の原因となります。
When soldering, do not press the soldering iron against the connector with excessive force.
There is possibility of connector deformation.

5-5. ケーブル固定 (Cable fixation)
ケーブルと SHELL を接着剤にて固定する。
推奨接着剤: LOCTITE 352
Fix the cable and SHELL with the bond.
Recommended Bond: LOCTITE 352
