from whom you bou ht this product.
This product is HEAVY, it should be assembled as near as possible to the point of use. TAKE
CARE HEN LIFTING to avoid personal injury and (or) dama e to the product.
This product takes approximately 30 MINUTES to assemble with 2 PEOPLE.
The fittin s pack contains SMALL ITEMS which should be KEPT A AY FROM YOUNG
CHILDREN.

Step by step assembly instructions
Step One
Connect the two sides with the metal bars (3) usin bolt A. Ti hten with allen key (D)
Please ensure that the cross fixin holes on the two sides (part No.'s 1 and 2) are facin up.

Step Two
Assemble the two back support crosses part No. 5 and part No. 6 with screws (B)
Connect the two support crosses on the back of your bookcase with screws (B), usin any of
the available connectin holes, and ti hten with allen key (D)

Step Three
Fit each of the 5 shelves (part No. 4) as shown in the dia ram usin screws (C)

Care and Maintenance
ood Furniture
Wood displays different rain patterns dependin on which way they cut - for example, the
‘medullary ray’ which can appear on oak furniture is a mark of ood quality timber - these are
just characteristics of the natural beauty of the wood. Some furniture is also deliberately a ed
and rustic.
Wood veneers also allow distinctive patterns to be created on flat surfaces, such as table tops
and drawer fronts by the way the slivers are arran ed.
All timber surfaces will chan e colour and mellow over time. New furniture will initially vary in
shade from items that have been previously purchased.
How to care for your wood furniture
Furniture with a hard lacquer, wax polish or painted surface should be dusted with a dry cloth.
Spray polishes are best avoided as they contain silicones which may spoil the furniture’s
surface by buildin up over time.
Make sure all surfaces are protected from heat and liquids by mats and coasters. Wipe up spills
immediately and ensure that a mat or pad is placed under paper if you are writin .
Our furniture will endure most temperatures in the home but it is best to avoid placin furniture
next to heat sources such as radiators or fires. Be particularly careful with solid wood as the
lack of humidity caused by central heatin can cause dama e such as warpin
Metal
A sli htly damp cloth is the best cleanin a ent for both materials.
Do not use any abrasive cleaner or harsh deter ent as this can dama e the surface.
Safety Instructions
Never dra furniture when movin it, always lift it.
Periodically check all fixin s to ensure none have come loose and re-ti hten where necessary.
Please take care when handlin or movin the furniture as careless handlin may cause
dama e or injury.
Furniture can be dan erous if incorrectly installed. Assembly should be carried out by a
competent person. No liability will be accepted for dama e or injury caused by incorrectly
installed or assembled furniture.
