Thank you for purchasing St. Ives storage bed. Please read the instructions carefully before use
to ensure safe and satisfactory operation of this product.
Pre-assembly preparation
Please ensure instructions are read in full before attempting to assemble this product
Necessary Tools

Please check the pack contents before attempting to assemble this product. A full checklist of
components is given in this leaflet. If any components are missing, please contact the number on
the front of this assembly instruction.
This product is HEAVY, it should be assembled as near as possible to the point of use. TAKE
CARE WHEN LIFTING to avoid personal injury or damage to the product.
This product takes approximately 45 MINUTES to assemble with 2 PEOPLE.
The fittings pack contains SMALL ITEMS which should be KEPT AWAY FROM YOUNG
CHILDREN.

Step by step assembly instructions
Step One
All Bolts (A) must be screwed into pre drilled cams of Head end (01) and Foot end (04) as
shown (8 into the head end and 8 into the foot end) and leave minimum 4 mm gap.
Step Two
Attach the sides (02) and (03) to the Head end (01) and Foot end (04) as shown, push the sides
firmly sideward. Firmly tighten the Bolts with Allan key (G).

Step Three
Take the centre support (08) and attach the middle feet (10) as shown per diagram below.
Step Four
Fittings (B) must be screwed into the pre drilled cams of the middle support (05).
Attach the center support rail (08) onto the support brackets, push firmly downwards to secure in
place. Attach the middle support rail (05) into the support brackets (02) and (03).If cams don’t
lock into the place, please use a screw driver to adjust them.
Tighten the middle support (05) with the screw driver. Please adjust the legs individually
according to the floor level on (02) and (03).
Please adjust the middle feet according to the floor level as per picture below.

Step Five
On each of the bed slats (H) put the slat holder (I) and then fit the slat into the predrilled holes on
the bedframe, as shown in the diagram. Repeat this step with the other 40 slats. Please fit the
side supports (09) in the middle of each side of the bed.
Step Six
All fittings (B) must be screwed into pre drilled cams of drawer fronts (06).
Screw the wheels (D) with the wood screws (C) in the marked places on the bottom of
the drawer (07). Please attach drawer fronts (06) to drawers as shown per picture. If
cams don’t lock into place please use the screw driver to adjust them.

Put the handles (F) on the drawer front and tighten them with screws (E).
Step Seven
Please ensure the bedframe is square from corner to corner.
Gently push the drawers in their position.

Care and Maintenance
St. Ives range is a timeless painted bedroom range in white with brushed metal knob handles
and grey with solid aok flat tops and brushed metal knob handles. Each piece has been carefully
constructed to ensure it will give you years of pleasure. The
natural characteristics of oak may include small cracks, knots, blemishes and grain pattern
variations wich all add to the natural charm and beauty of this furniture product. Each piece is
unique and for this reason, no two pieces within the range will perfectly match. However there
will be harmony between all the pieces you may have purchased.
All timber surfaces will change colour and mellow over time. New furniture will initially vary in
shade from items that have been previously purchased.
How to care for your furniture
Try to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight as this may alter the colour and tone of your
furniture over time.
Any spillages that do happen should be wiped up immediately with a clean dry lint free cloth to
avoid marking the surface of the furniture.
Safety Instructions
General warnings:

Never drag furniture when moving it, always lift it. Periodically check all fixings to ensure none
have come loose and re-tighten where necessary. Please take care when handling or moving
the furniture as careless handling may cause damage or injury.
Furniture can be dangerous if incorrectly installed. Assembly should be carried out by a
competent person. No liability will be accepted for damage or injury caused by incorrectly
installed or assembled furniture.
Specific warnings for heavy items:
It is recommended that before moving heavy objects to a new location they are completely
disassembled to avoid personal injury or damage to the furniture. Please be careful to retain all
fittings when doing this.
