
Assembly
Refer to assembly drawing opposite. Carefully unpack the carton, making sure all the parts are
present before assembly.
Step 1
Ensure the house electricity supply is switched off at the supply.
Step 2
Attach to the wall using the screws provided. Refer
to Fig. 1. Make care to avoid damaging any concealed
wiring and pipes.

Care instructions
We recommend cleaning with a soft dry cloth. Do not use abrasive materials as these will damage
the nish.

It is recommended that this tting is installed by a qualied electrician.
Install in accordance with the IEE Wiring regulations and the Building Regulations.
To prevent electric shock switch off at mains supply before installing or maintaining this tting.
Ensure other persons cannot restore the electrical supply without your knowledge.
If you are in any doubt, please consult a qualied electrician.
This light tting should be connected to a 5 amp fused circuit.
If replacing an existing tting, make a note of the connections.
This product is suitable for installation on surfaces with normal ammability e.g. wood, plasterboard,
masonry. It is not suitable for use on highly ammable surfaces (e.g. polystyrene, textiles).
For your safety, always switch off the supply before cleaning or removing the shade.

Step 3
Having identied the household wiring from your existing light tting, connect to the connection
block inside the product as shown. When completed, ensure that there are no bare or loose
strands of wire exposed, and cover all exposed areas of the connection block with 2 layers of
insulation tape.
Check that
You have correctly identied the house
wires.
The connections are tight.
No loose strands have been left out of the
connection block.
Step 4
Attach the wall light to the wall bracket by screwing the screws through the side of the wall light
and into the bracket, ensure all wires are away from the edge.
Step 5
Fit the bulb per details overleaf. Observe the correct type and wattage; never exceed the correct
type and wattage.
Step 6
Replace fuse or circuit breaker and switch on using the toggle switch on the base of the wall back.
Your light is now ready for use.
