Non utilizzare il prodotto per usi diversi da quelli descritti nel presente
manuale di istruzioni, ogni altro utilizzo è da considerarsi improprio e
quindi pericoloso.
Prima di utilizzare il prodotto leggere attentamente le istruzioni indicate
in questo manuale.
Si consiglia di conservare questo manuale per un utilizzo futuro.
Prima di collegare l’apparecchio, vericare che la tensione, indicata sulla
targhetta dati, corrisponda a quella di rete.
Staccare sempre la spina nei seguenti casi: quando l’apparecchio non è
in funzione, durante la pulizia dell’apparecchio e ogni qualvolta si nota

un’anomalia di funzionamento.
Prima di staccare la spina bisogna sempre spegnere l’interruttore. Tirare
sempre per la spina e mai per il cavo.
Dal momento che le due piastre metalliche raggiungono una
temperatura molto elevata, è consigliabile non appoggiare mai il
prodotto sopra superci termosensibili (come legno, carta, ecc..) o nelle
immediate vicinanze di sostanze inammabili.
Evitare inoltre il contatto diretto con mani, occhi, orecchie, viso e collo.
Non toccare le piastre quando l’apparecchio è acceso. Non arrotolare
mai il cavo intorno all’apparecchio.
Al ne di evitare qualsiasi incidente e danni ai bambini non bisogna mai
lasciare l’apparecchio incustodito in loro presenza. Per questo motivo è
consigliabile posizionare il prodotto in un luogo lontano dalla loro
portata.
Non utilizzare o posizionare mai il prodotto sotto asciugamani, coperte o
cuscini, poiché si potrebbe surriscaldare e provocare incendi e/o scosse
elettriche.
Riporre sempre il prodotto lontano da fonti di calore, dai raggi del sole,
dall’umidità, da oggetti taglienti e simili.
Non lasciare mai il prodotto incustodito se in funzione! Spegnere sempre
l’interruttore e staccare la spina dalla rete quando esso non viene
utilizzato.
In nessun caso il prodotto deve essere immerso o entrare in contatto con
l’acqua o altri liquidi.
Non utilizzare la piastra con le mani bagnate o umide.
Nel caso in cui il prodotto dovesse bagnarsi staccare immediatamente
la spina.
NON CERCARE DI RECUPERARLO NEL CASO IN CUI DOVESSE CADERE
NELL’ACQUA.
Utilizzare il prodotto solo ed esclusivamente per il ne per cui è stato
concepito.
In caso di danneggiamenti o guasti al cavo o al prodotto, interrompere
immediatamente l’utilizzo e rivolgersi ad un centro specializzato. Non
manomettere il prodotto nel tentativo di ripararlo o sostituire le parti
danneggiate.
I cavi danneggiati devono essere sostituiti immediatamente.
Queste operazioni devono essere eseguite solo da tecnici specializzati.
Le parti di ricambio devono essere originali o comunque perfettamente
compatibili con esse.
Per evitare il surriscaldamento del prodotto, svolgere completamente
il cavo ed evitare di tenere il prodotto acceso inutilmente quando non
viene utilizzato.
Quando si ripone l’apparecchio lasciare rareddare le piastre ed evitare

di avvolgere il cavo intorno al prodotto.
Se si utilizza l’apparecchio in locali da bagno, è necessario scollegarlo
dall’alimentazione dopo l’uso, poiché la vicinanza con l’acqua può
rappresentare un pericolo anche quando l’apparecchio è spento.

UTILIZZO
Prima del primo utilizzo, pulire tutte le parti della piastra come viene
descritto nel capitolo “Pulizia”.
Prima del primo utilizzo, accendere la piastra per qualche minuto, e
impostarla alla temperatura massima. Come risultato del processo di
produzione possono vericarsi leggeri odori. Questo è normale e si
verica solo al primo utilizzo. Assicurarsi che la stanza sia ben ventilata.
PRIMA DELLA STIRATURA
I capelli devono essere puliti, asciutti e privi di prodotti di styling (ad
eccezione dei prodotti speciali che hanno un eetto positivo sulla
stiratura).
Pettinare accuratamente i capelli in modo che non siano annodati.
Suddividere i vostri capelli in ciocche orizzontali. Le singole ciocche
devono avere circa la larghezza e lo spessore della piastra riscaldante.
Fissare le ciocche che non trattate con una molletta o clip per capelli in
modo che non siano d’intralcio.

ACCENDERE/SPEGNERE E SELEZIONARE LA TEMPERATURA
Inserire la spina in una presa di corrente facilmente accessibile.
Tenere premuto il pulsante per accendere la piastra. Le
spie di controllo sull’indicatore di temperatura
lampeggiano nché la piastra non ha raggiunto la
temperatura.
Se si desidera selezionare una temperatura di esercizio
diversa, premere più volte il pulsante per scorrere
le impostazioni di temperatura e selezionare la
temperatura desiderata.
Le impostazioni di temperatura disponibili sono: 130 °C,
150 °C, 170 °C, 190 °C e 210 °C.
Quando si seleziona una nuova impostazione di temperatura, le spie di
controllo sul display lampeggiano nché la piastra non ha raggiunto la
nuova temperatura di esercizio selezionata.
Di seguito sono elencate le impostazioni consigliate. In caso di dubbi,
iniziare con una temperatura più bassa e aumentarla come necessario.
• una temperatura bassa per capelli ni, fragili
• una temperatura da media a bassa per capelli ondulati
• una temperatura da media ad alta per capelli molto ricci, dicili da
stirare, spessi e resistenti
In ogni caso fatevi sempre consigliare dal vostro parrucchiere di ducia
sulla temperatura da utilizzare in base alla tipologia dei vostri capelli.
Per spegnere la piastra, tenere premuto il pulsante accensione nché
tutte le spie di controllo sull’indicatore di temperatura non si spengono.
Per motivi di sicurezza, la piastra si spegne automaticamente dopo 1 ora
(spegnimento automatico di sicurezza) se vi dimenticate di spegnerla.

ATTENZIONE:
Non usate mai la piastra con i capelli bagnati.
Le piastre sono strumenti molto potenti e devono essere utilizzati con la
massima attenzione.
Se si usa la piastra in modo errato oppure ad una temperatura sbagliata
si rischia di surriscaldare o addirittura di bruciare i capelli.
Quando si usa la piastra per la prima volta selezionare sempre una
temperatura moderata.
Consigli per l’utilizzo
Prima dell’uso, assicurarsi che i capelli siano puliti, asciutti e senza nodi.
Prendere una ciocca di capelli e metterla tra le due placche vicino
alla radice dei capelli, premere l’impugnatura per chiudere la piastra,
quindi lasciar scivolare lentamente la piastra verso le punte dei capelli.
Procedere allo stesso modo con altre ciocche no alla completa lisciatura
di tutta la capigliatura.
Terminato l’utilizzo del prodotto premere il tasto on/o per spegnere
e attendere sempre che il prodotto si sia completamente rareddato
prima di riporlo. Spegnimento automatico di sicurezza: se l’unita rimane
accesa senza che venga premuto alcun pulsante, dopo 60 minuti si
spegne automaticamente.
ATTENZIONE: le piastre di metallo sono molto calde, utilizzare
esclusivamente l’impugnatura ed evitate il contatto con la pelle poiché
può provocare ustioni.
PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
Spegnere l’apparecchio staccare la spina e lasciar rareddare
completamente l’apparecchio su una supercie resistente al calore.
Pulire poi il prodotto con un panno morbido e asciutto.
Tenere le piastre sempre ben pulite e prive di polvere, prodotti per
capelli e gel.
Non immergere mai il prodotto in acqua o in altri liquidi.
Non utilizzare mai solventi o detergenti aggressivi per pulire il prodotto.
Non tentare mai di riparare il prodotto da soli, ma rivolgersi sempre ad
un centro di assistenza autorizzato.

It is advisable to save these instructions for a future use.
Before connecting the appliance, check the voltage shown on the
appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage.
Always unplug the appliance:

In case of troubles
Unplug the appliance, only after having switched it o. Never try to
unplug the product pulling it from the cable or from the product itself.
Product plates reach high temperature, for this reason it is advisable not
to place the product in direct contact of heat-sensitive surfaces (such as
wood or paper) or nearby inammable substances.
Moreover, prevent hot plates to come in contact with hands, eyes, ears,
face and neck. Never touch plates when the unit is switched on.
In order to protect children from risks of electrical shocks. Never leave
the appliance unattended when it is plugged in. Always store it out of
their reach.
In order to avoid possible res and damages to the product, never use
and place the product under blankets, towels or cushions.
Keep the device and the cable away from heat, direct sunlight, moisture,
sharp objects and similar ones.
Never leave the product unattended if switched on! Switch it o and
unplug it when you do not use it, even if it is only for a while!
The product must not be absolutely dipped in water or other liquids or
coming in contact with them!
Never use the appliance with wet or moist hands.
In case the appliance becomes moist or wet, please unplug it immediately

from the socket DO NOT TRY TO REACH THE PRODUCT INTO WATER!
Use the device only for its intended purpose.
In case of damages to the cable or to the product, it is necessary to stop
immediately using the product and address to specialised centres.
Never try to repair the product by yourself.
Damaged cables must be replaced immediately
These operations should only be carried out by specialised technicians.
For any replacement: use always original spare parts or parts of the same
type.
In order to avoid the product from possible overheating, it is advisable
to unwind completely the cable and not to keep the product switched
on if it is not in use.
Before storing the unit, please let it cooling down. Never wrap the cable
around the unit.
To prevent damage to the cord, do not wrap it around the unit and
ensure it is stored without twisting or folding it.
If the item is used in bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of
water presents an hazard even when the item is switched o.

OPERATION
Clean all parts of the hair straightener before rst use as described in the
chapter “Cleaning”.

Before using the hair straightener for the rst time, switch it on for a
few minutes and set it to the highest temperature. As a result of the
manufacturing process, you may notice a slight odour. This is normal
and only occurs during rst use. Ensure that the room is well ventilated.
BEFORE STRAIGHTENING
The hair should be clean, dry and free of styling products (except special
products that promote hair straightening).
Thoroughly comb the hair so that there are no knots in it.
Separate your hair into horizontal sections. Each section should be
around the width and thickness of the heating plate
Pin or clip the sections you are not working on out of the way.
SWITCHING ON/OFF AND SELECTING A TEMPERATURE
Connect the mains plug to an easily accessible socket.
Press and hold the on/o button to switch on the hair
straightener. The indicator lights ash until the hair
straightener has reached the temperature.
To select another operating temperature, press the on/
o button repeatedly to cycle through the temperature
settings and select a desired one.
The temperature settings are: 130 °C, 150 °C, 170 °C, 190
°C and 210 °C.
Once a new temperature setting is selected, the indicator lights on the
product ash until the hair straightener has reached the newly selected
operating temperature.
Below are recommended settings. If you are unsure, start with a lower
temperature and increase the temperature as necessary.

A low temperature for ne or brittle hair
A medium to low temperature for wavy hair
A medium to high temperature for hair which is very curly, dicult to
straighten, thick and resistant
In any case, always ask your own hairdresser which temperature to use
for your type of hair.
To switch o the hair straightener, press and hold the on/o button until
all indicator lights go out. For safety purposes, the hair straightener will
automatically shut down after 1 hour (Auto Shut O Protection) in case
you forget to switch it o.
WARNING:
Do not use the hair straightener on wet hair.
Hair straighteners are very powerful devices and must be used with the
utmost care.
If the hair straightener is used incorrectly or the temperature is wrong,
then there is a risk of overheating or even burning the hair.
When using the hair straightener for the rst time, always select a
moderate temperature.
HANDLING ADVICE
Make sure your hair is clean, dry and untangled before using the device.
Take a strand of hair and put it between the two plates near the roots of
the hair, press the handle to close the plates then slowly let the plates
slide towards the tips of the hair. Repeat the operation on the other
strands until all the hair is straightened.
When you have nished using the appliance, press the on/o button to
turn it o. Always wait until the appliance has completely cooled down
before storing it.
Safety automatic shut-down: if the device remains turned on and no
buttons are pressed, it will automatically turn o after 60 minutes.
WARNING: the metal plates are very hot, use only the handle and avoid
contact with the skin as this can cause burns.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE
Unplug the unit from the mains and let the product cooling down on a
heat-resistant surface.
Clean the unit with a soft dry cloth.
Keep the plates clean and free from dirt, styling products and gel.
Never dip the unit into water or other liquids. Never use solvents and
detergents.
Never try to repair the unit by yourself but always address to specialised

centres.
