USER INSTRUCTIONS
NOTICE
This is a “Universal” child restraint. It is approved to Regulation No.44/04
series of amendments, for general use in vehicles and it will fit most, but not
all, car seats.
A correct fit is likely if the vehicle manufacturer has declared in the vehicle
handbook that the vehicle is capable of accepting a “Universal” child restraint
for this age group.
This child restraint has been classified as “Universal” under more stringent
conditions than those which applied to earlier designs which do not carry this
notice.
If in doubt, consult either the child restraint manufacturer or the retailer.
Only suitable if the approved vehicles are fitted with 3 point safety-belts,
approved to UN/ECE Regulation No. 16 or other equivalent standards.
Introduction
Thanks for choosing our Fun Racer child car seat for your children. The
product is approved to ECE R44/04 as a child safety seat for age groups
Ⅰ+Ⅱ+Ⅲ,9-36kg. The car seat will maximumly protect your child only when it
is correctly used. Otherwise, it may cause danger and injury.
In order to protect your child correctly, the Fun Racer must always be used
and installed as described in these instructions.

Please keep this instruction manual in good condition and read it thoroughly
before use.It will help you to install the child car seat correctly. Any incorrect
installation shall cause serious injury to your child. The manufacturer is not
responsible for any danger caused by wrong installation.
Warning
1. The Fun Racer child car seat is suitable for children weighing 9-36
kgs(20-79lbs).
2. The device only suitable for use in the listed vehicles fitted with 3 point
safety-belts, approved to UN/ECE Regulation No. 16 or other equivalent
standards.
3. This is a forward-facing seat, it is not allowed to use them in seating
positions where there is an air bag installed.
4. Any straps holding the restraint to the vehicle should be tight, that any
straps restraining the child should be adjusted to the child’s body, and
that straps should not be twisted.
5. Ensuring that any lap strap is worn low down, so that the pelvis is firmly
engaged, shall be stressed.
6. DO NOT leave the buckle in a partially closed position and it must only
lock when all parts are engaged. It must be possible to release the child
from the restraint immediately in an emergency.
7. The device should be changed when it has been subject to violent
stresses in an acident.
8. Do not make any alterations or additions to the device without the
approval of the manufacturer. It is dangerous if not following closely the
installation instructions provided by the child restraint manufacturer.

9. The child restraint should be kept away from sunlight when it is not
provided with the textile cover, otherwise it may be too hot for the
child’s skin.
10. Children are not left in their child restraint system unattended.
11. Any luggage or other objects liable to cause injuries in the event of a
collision shall be properly secured.
12. The child restraint must not be used without the cover.
13. The seat cover should not be replaced with any other than the one
recommended by the manufacturer, because the cover constitutes an
integral part of the restraint performance.
14. Do not use any load bearing contact points other than those described
in the instructions and marked in the child restraint.
15. This child restraint can only be used in the car, not for home。
16. DO NOT put objects on the child restraint, keep it away from corrosive
material.
17. The manufacturer will guarantee the quality of the child car seat, but not
the second-hand seat.

General Description
The Fun Racer Series have three using status as below according to child’s
weight:
1. Picture 1, GroupⅠ, for children with a body weight of 9-18kg(20-40lbs).
The child safety seat with backrest. Using the 3-point adult seat belt of
your vehicle to fasten the seat, then fasten your child with the harness
belt.

2. Picture 2, GroupⅡ,for children with a body weight of 15-36kg(33-
79lbs). The child safety seat with backrest. Remove the harness belt,
then fasten the child and the safety seat with the 3-point adult seat belt
of your vehicle.

3. Picture 3, GroupⅢ, for children with a body weight of 15-36kg(33-
79lbs). Can remove the backrest from the child safety seat, use the
booster cushion only. Using the 3-point adult seat belt to fasten the
child and the seat.

Usage methods
The usage methods of the car seat are as follows:
1. See picture 7: To adjust the height of the harness straps to fit your child:
Slide the two harness straps off the harness connector, then pull it
through any of the three strap holes up or down on the seat’s backrest.
Re-thread the harness strap back onto the harness connector at the
back of the seat.

2. See picture 8: Tighten and loosen the harness straps: Press down on the
strap adjuster as you pull the two shoulder straps with your other hand
upwards until the harness is fully tightened, then let go of the adjuster
button, the straps will be locked into place. Pull the shoulder straps
towards you to loosen the harness.

3. See picture 9: To lock the crotch strap and shoulder straps: Put the two
buckle tongues together and engage in the harness buckle with an
audible CLICK.

4. See picture 10: Spinning the backrest 180 degree to separate the seat
base and the backrest. The seat base can be installed independently in
the car.

Installation methods
1. Pic 11）Using the child safety seat for children with a body weight of 9-
18kg ( GroupⅠ) :
Pull out the car seat belt, thread the car lap belt under the armrest then
go through the seat belt route slot in one side together with diagnol
belt,then through the plastic backrest and pull out from the other side
of the seat belt route slot and fasten them into the seat belt
buckle.Tighten the lap belt and diagonal belt. (See Pic.11). Caution! The
car seat belt is not tangled, twisted or jammed in the car door or other
auto-parts.Place your child into the child seat,put the shoulder straps
over the shoulders of your child,put the two buckle tongues together
and engage in the harness buckle with an audible CLIKCK! (See Pic.11a)

2. Using the child safety car seat for children with a body weight of 15-
36kg( Group II ) :
Remove the harness seat belt first, sit your child in the child seat, Pull
out the car seat belt, thread the car lap belt under the armrest then
across your child’s hips,pull the diagonal belt through your child’s chest,
then pull the lap belt and the diagonal belt together through the other
side of the armrest and buckle up. Tighten the lap belt and diagonal belt
.(See Pic.11b). Caution! The car seat belt is not tangled, twisted or
jammed in the car door or other auto-parts.

3. Pic.11c）Using the child safety car seat for children with a body weight
of 15-36 kg( Group III ) :
Remove the backrest from the child car seat and use the booster
cushion only. Push the booster cushion firmly against the car seat
backrest, pull out the car seat belt, thread the car lap belt under the
armrest then across your child’s hips,pull the diagonal belt through your
child’s chest, then pull the lap belt and the diagonal belt together
through the other side of the armrest and buckle up. Tighten the lap
belt and diagonal belt .(See Pic.11c). Caution! The car seat belt is not
tangled, twisted or jammed in the car door or other auto-parts.

To release child, just press the red button on the buckle, the buckle tongues
will pop up.

Please make sure that the shoulder straps are at the correct height for your
child.The child’s shoulders should always be below the slot for the harness.
The adjustment of harness straps
Firstly, adjust the length of the belt to fit your child, then Put the two buckle
tongues together and engage in the harness buckle with an audible CLICK.
Press the adjustment button(See pic below)in the front of the seat and at the
same time pull both shoulder straps forward to slacken the harness. To tighten
the harness,you may just pulling forward the free end of the front belt.
Maintenance for Child Car Seat
1. The cover can be removed and washed with a mild detergent using the
washing machine or hand wash in 30℃water.
2. Do not spin, and never tumble dry in an electric clothes dryer, only dry in
the air.
3. The harness and plastic parts can be wiped by wet cloth with lukewarm
soapy water. Do not use chemical reagent, bleacher or corrosive
substance.
4. The cover can be reused after cleaning.
