Safety
Please read this user guide carefully BEFORE
installing your child seat and retain for future
reference.
This child car seat is suitable for children from 0-13 kg approx. 13 months
(group 0+) and from 9-18 kg (group 1).
The vehicle safety seat must be fitted and used in accordance with the
manufacturer instructions. lncorrect installation could be dangerous.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD ANY CHILD CAR SAFETY SEAT BE
USED ON A FRONT PASSENGER SEAT WITH AN ACTIVE AIRBAG.
1. The cover and chest pads are a safety feature. Never use the child seat
without them.
2. Car interiors can become very hot when left standing in direct sunlight.
Metal fittings on the seat and harness may become hot and should be
covered up.
3. Seat and harness assemblies which get damaged or become badly worn
or which have been involved in an accident must be replaced to maintain
safety.
4. Do not place heavy objects on the parcel shelf, which could, in the event
of an accident, cause injury to passengers.
5. In the event of an emergency,it is important that the child can be
released quickly as defined by British Standards.Therefore the seat belt
buckle is not fully tamperproof and you should ensure your child is
discouraged from playing with the buckle when in use.

6. Ensure that no part of the child seat is trapped in a door or folding seat.lf
your car has a folding rear seat, ensure it is correctly locked upright.
7. Do not attempt to dismantle, modify or add to any part of your child
seat or harness.
8. A child must NEVER be left unattended whilst restrained,in or out of the
vehicle.
9. Please store the user instructions in the clear pocket on the right hand
side of the child seat.
Note: Seat may have a slight rattle when not in use, this is normal.

The child seat MUST only be
installed using a lap and
diagonal seat belt.

front passenger seat with an active airbag
Installing your child into the child seat
How to recline the seat
Lift the recline handle and slide the seat forwards to the preferred recline
position.
Release the buckle by sliding the red button downwards and at the same time
pulling out the harness.

Place your child in the seat and check the height of the should straps for
correct positioning.
The shoulder straps must be threaded through the slots in the cover and seat
shell that are closest to the top of your child's shouliders.
Once the top slots have been reached, you can continue to use the seat but
only until the child's eyes are level with the top of the seat or their weight
exceeds 18kg.
To adjust the height of the shoulder straps, release the yoke,take out the
harness straps from it .Pull the straps through to the front of the seat.
Thread the shoulder strap back through the correct height slots in the seat
cover and shell.

Thread the shoulder straps through the same height slots in the seat cover and
shell making sure the straps are not twisted and both straps are at the same
height (level with each other).
Attach the shoulder straps securely to the yoke and refasten the shoulder
strap cords.
Important: You must ensure the should straps are not twisted.
With the harness open, place your child into the child seat. Place the shoulder
straps over your child's shoulders.
Fasten the buckle by bringing together the two prongs of the harness strap
and push into the buckle until your hear a click.

sit correctly on your child's chest.

Tighten the shoulder straps, by pressing the adjuster button and pulling the
adjuster straps.Your child must be comfortable but securely fastened in.

Installing your child seat –Rearward Facing
For use with group 0 - from birth to approx.9 months (10 Kgs).
WARNING
DO NOT use the child seat rearward facing on a passenger seat
fitted with an active airbag.

The seat must be fully reclined when rearward facing.
How to recline the seat
Lift the recline handle and slide the seat forwards to the recline position.
Place the child seat centrally onto the passenger seat.
The front of the child seat must be pushed firmly against the back of the
vehicle seat.
Pull off approximately a metre of lap and diagonal belt and route the two
belts as follows:
oLap section:Thread the lap section under the seat pull it through
the lab belt routing slot and into in the belt pathway as shown.
oDiagonal section: Pull the diagonal section through the slot at the
top of the seat and wrap it around the back of the seat.
Insert the lap and diagonal belt into the seat belt buckle.
You will hear a click when it is correctly inserted. Pull on it to check it is
securely fitted.
Installation Checkpoints - Rearward Facing
Pull the lap and diagonal seat belt tightly and attach the belt clip to shoulder
strap as closely as you can to the seat belt buckle - but not touching it!
Finally check that the seat is firm and secure.lf it is wobbly or slack, you must
tighten both belts again until the seat is secure.

Installing your child seat - Forward Facing
Only for use with group 1 - from approx.9 months to 4 year (9-18 Kgs).
WARNING
DO NOT use the child seat on a
passenger seat fitted with an
active airbag.
Place the child seat firmly
against the back of the vehicle
seat.
