DANGER
–Check cables and hose lines for damage prior to every oper-
ation. Have damaged cables and hose lines immediately re-
placed by the authorised customer service.
–Do not damage cables and hose lines or their extensions by
running over, pinching, dragging or the like. Protect them from
heat, oil, and sharp edges.
DANGER
–Please ensure that screw connections of all hoses are not
leaky.
DANGER
–Never work alone!
–For safety reasons, a second person must always be present
when the appliance is being operated, in order to be able to
shut off the appliance in emergencies and to summon help if
needed.
–High-pressure jets can be dangerous if improperly used. The
jet must not be directed at persons, animals, electrical equip-
ment or at the device itself - not even for cleaning.
–The operator must use the accessories as intended. The per-
son must consider the local conditions and must pay attention
to other persons in the vicinity when working with the appli-
ance.
–Check the proper condition and operational safety of the ac-
cessories with the working equipment before using them.
Do not use the accessories if the cables, hose lines or impor-
tant parts are damaged.
–Secure working areas (spraying areas) and the work environ-
ment clearly visible against unauthorised access during work,
put up warning signs and barriers.
–During spraying tasks, nobody besides the operator is al-
lowed in a radius of 10 m around the jet unit.
–Do not use the device in case of fatigue, impairment to health,
under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
–Never work with fluids containing solvents or undiluted acids
and solvents! This includes petrol, paint thinner and heating
oil. The spray mist is highly inflammable, explosive and poi-
sonous. Do not use acetone, undiluted acids and solvents, as
they corrode the materials used for the accessories.
–Do not operate the accessories at temperatures below 0 ?.
–Only use hose lines, spray units and accessories approved
for the maximum working pressure of the device.
The high-pressure water jet machine must be secured
against pressure exceedance to this value.
–Several spraying units on one high-pressure water jet ma-
chine may only be operated simultaneously if no dangerous
recoil changes can occur at the others upon opening or clos-
ing an individual spraying unit.
–Depending on the accessories used, hand-arm acceleration
values of >2.5 m/s² occur.
Long hours of using the appliance can cause circulation prob-
lems in the hands on account of vibrations.
It is not possible to specify a generally valid operation time,
since this depends on several factors:
Proneness to blood circulation deficiencies (cold, numb fin-
gers).
Low ambient temperature. Wear warm gloves to protect
hands.
A firm grip impedes blood circulation.
Continuous operation is worse than an operation interrupted
by pauses.
In case of regular, long-term operation of the device and in
case of repeated occurrence of the symptoms (e.g. cold,
numb fingers) please consult a physician.

Proper use
Environmental protection
The packaging material can be recycled. Please do
not throw the packaging material into household
waste; please send it for recycling.
Old appliances contain valuable materials that can be
recycled; these should be sent for recycling. Batteries,
oil, and similar substances must not enter the environ-
ment. Please dispose of your old appliances using ap-
propriate collection systems.

–If the accessories are used in hazardous areas (e.g. filling
stations), observe corresponding safety instructions. The ap-
pliance may not be operated in explosive atmospheres.
–Do not wedge the trigger of the gun during operation.

–When using detergents, the safety data sheet of the detergent
manufacturer must be observed, especially the information
on personal protective equipment.
–Prior to cleaning, a risk assessment must be performed for
the surface to be cleaned to determine the safety and health
requirements. The respective required protective measures
must be taken.
–Do not spray materials containing asbestos or other health-
hazardous substances.
–Let the accessories cool down after hot water operation or
briefly operate the device in cold water operation.

–The operator must wear protective clothing that was especial-
ly developed for the use with high-pressure water jet ma-
chines. CE-certified protective clothing made of Dyneema fi-
bre offers attested protection when using fixed or rotating
nozzles up to 3,000 bar/45K psi.
–When working or staying in the vicinity of the work area, the
following protective clothing must be worn completely:

Safety installations serve the protection of the user and may not
be modified or bypassed.
Connect an air hose that is suitable for an operating pressure
of at least 10 bar.
The max. admissible air pressure of 7 bar must not be ex-
ceeded.
The air motor must only be operated with dry, clean and oiled
compressed air.
Prior to the installation, apply anti-seize installation paste
(material no. 9.892-362.0) to all threads.
Slide the pressure screw onto the hose nipple.
Unscrew the pressure ring left-hand threat until 1 - 2 turns are
visible.
Slide the hose nipple with the pressure ring into the hose con-
nection.
Screw the pressure screw into the casing and tighten with a
torque of 160 Nm.

Connect control cable.
In order to achieve a perfect cleaning performance, the device
must be adjusted to the relevant case of application.

Adjust the speed of the nozzle bar via the adjustment screw.
Adjust the height of the nozzle bar above the ground via the
adjustment screw.
The setting angle of the nozzles can be adjusted in a maxi-
mum range of 15° in or against the rotation direction.
Loosen the pressure screw of the nozzle arms and turn the
nozzle arms into the desired position.
Ensure that the opposite nozzle arms are turned by the same
angle of twist, but in the opposite direction.
Adjust the handle to the individual operating height.

Adjust the ground clearance for the brush or sealing lip pre-
tension by means of the spacer sheets.
Note
During operation with the brush, the suction openings in the cas-
ing are closed.
If a subsequent change to sealing lip is to take place, the suction
openings must be opened by taking out the plugs.
With normal requirements, the equipment with one brush is ade-
quate. A vacuum cleaner with the following performance data en-
sures sufficient tightness.
– for suction lengths < 15 m: 775 m3/h (5.5 kW)
– for suction lengths > 15 m: 980 m3/h (15 kW)
The device can be equipped with a sealing lip for highest de-
mands.

Switch on the high-pressure water jet machine.
Open air stop cock.
Operate the high-pressure pushbutton and keep it down.

By releasing the high-pressure pushbutton the appliance
switches itself off.
Switch off the high-pressure water jet machine.
Close the air stop cock.
Store accessories in a frost protected room immediately after
finishing the operation.
DANGER
Switch off the high-pressure water jet machine and depressurize
the high-pressure system prior to any work on the device and the
accessories.
Relubricate -WOMA material no. 9.872-024.0 - at the lubricat-
ing points using a grease gun. Loosen threaded pins first.
Use transmission grease FAG Arcanol Multitop WOMA mate-
rial no. 9.890-521.0.
Have accessories checked for proper condition every 12
months by the customer service.
DANGER
For safety reasons, this maintenance must only be performed by
the customer service.
For this maintenance task the device must be dismounted.
Clean and relubricate bearings, renew if necessary.
Clean and relubricate gearwheels, renew if necessary.
Check all seals, shaft seal and especially the high-pressure
seal and renew if necessary.
DANGER
For safety reasons, malfunctions may only be rectified by the cus-
tomer service or especially trained personnel.
Compressed-air maintenance unit material no. 9.872-124.0.
The brushes rotate; water is dispensed to the brushes depending
on the setting. Depending on the selected programme, the suc-
tion turbine is running.
Squeeze or kink the suction hose coupling sleeve.
Open wastewater hose cover.
Coil the battery charging cable around the cable hooks.
