Before You Begin
-Shut off the main water supply.
-Observe all local plumbing codes.
-Carefully inspect waste and supply tubing for any sign of damage.
Replace if necessary.
-For new installations, install the faucet before installing the lavatory.

1. Spout Installation
-Apply a bead of plumbers putty or other sealant to the underside of the
spout according to the putty manufacturer’s instructions.
-Fit the spout through the top of the lavatory.
-Install the metal washer and nut. Position the washer so the second hole
lines up with the drain lift rod hole. Securely wrench tighten the nut.
-Remove any excess putty or sealant.
2. Handle Body Installation
-Apply a bead of plumbers putty or other sealant to the underside of the
escutcheons according to the putty manufacturer’s instructions.
-Insert the handle bodies into the mounting holes from the top of the
lavatory. Make sure the body marked “COLD” is installed in the
right-hand hole (as viewed from the front of the lavatory).

2. Handle Body Installation continued
-Install the dished washer (dished washer may be removed for thick deck
applications) and nut to the bottom of the handle bodies.
-Align the bodies so the copper tubing faces to the outside.
-Wrench tighten the nuts.
-Remove any excess putty or sealant.
-Thread the hoses into the handle body outlets. Use a wrench to tighten,
but do not overtighten.
-Insert the gasket and rubber washer into the tee. Thread the tee onto the
spout shank.
-Hold the spout in position and tighten the tee securely. Do not
overtighten.
-Connect the flexible hoses to the tee inlets. Do not use thread sealant. To
avoid kinking the hoses, loop them as shown. Do not overtighten.

3. Drain Installation
-Disassemble the drain components.
-Remove the protective material from the flange.
-Wrap the bottom 2/3 of the flange threads with three layers of sealant
tape.
-Apply a ring of plumbers putty or other sealant to the underside of
the flange according to putty manufacturer’s instructions. Insert the
flange into the lavatory drain hole.
-Assemble the gasket (tapered side up) and washer to the flange and
partially thread the nut to the flange. Do not fully tighten the nut at
this time.
-Install the body washer and body with the seal hole facing the back of
the lavatory and tighten.
-Ensure the seal hole is facing the back of the lavatory and fully tighten
the nut using care to avoid scratching the finish.
-Remove any excess putty or sealant.
-Insert the stopper into the flange.

3. Drain Installation continued
-Insert the seal into the body seal hole. Insert the short end of the rod
into the body seal hole and under the stopper for regular installations.
For vandal-resistant installations, fit the rod through the hole in the
stopper. Secure with body nut.
-Remove and adjust the stopper so it lifts about 3/8” (1cm) when
opened. To adjust, loosen the stopper nut and shorten or lengthen the
stopper as needed. Tighten the stopper nut.
-Apply three layers of thread tape and a small bead of pipe sealant to
the tailpiece threads. Thread the tailpiece to the body and tighten
securely.
-Slide one end of the clip onto the rod. Slide the link onto the rod with
the thumb screw facing the back of the lavatory.
-Squeeze the other end of the clip, aligning the hole with the rod. Move
the link to the proper position by squeezing the clip and sliding it
along the rod. Push the rod down to the drain open position.
-Insert the lift rod into the hole in the faucet and then into the hole in
the link. If necessary, you may bend the link to fit your installation.
-Tighten the thumb screw on the link so the lift rod knob is 1/2”
(1.3cm) above the lift rod hole as shown in the illustration.

4. Supply Tube and Supply Stop Connections
-Install the lavatory using the lavatory manufacturer’s instructions.
-Connect the supply tubes to the handle bodies and supply stops. (Left is
hot - right is cold).
-Tighten all connections.
5. Installation Checkout
-Connect the tailpiece and P-trap.
-Ensure that all connections are tight.
-Remove aerator by turning it counterclockwise.
-Open the drain.
-Turn on main water supply and check for leaks. Repair as needed.
-Open both hot and cold valves and run water through the spout for
about a minute to remove debris. Check for leaks. Turn valves off.
-Remove any debris from aerator and reinstall.

Avant de Commencer
-Coupez l’arrivée d’eau principale.
-Respectez les codes de plomberie locaux.
-Vérifiez avec soin si l’évacuation ou les tubes d’arrivée d’eau sont
endommagés. Remplacez les pièces si besoin.
-Pour une nouvelle pose, installez le robinet avant d’installer le lavabo.

1. Installation du Bec
-Appliquez du mastic d’étanchéité ou un produit semblable sous de bec,
selon la notice du fabricant du mastic.
-Passez le bec dans le trou prévu dans la partie supérieure du lavabo.
-Installez la rondelle métallique et l’écrou. Placez la rondelle de manière à
alignerledeuxièmetrouavecletrouprévupourlatigedecommande
du drain. Serrez l’écrou à fond avec une clé à molette.
-Enlevez tout excédent du mastic d’étanchéité.
2. Installation du corps de la poignée
-Appliquez du mastic d’étanchéité ou un produit semblable sous les
rosaces, selon la notice du fabricant du mastic.
-Introduisez le corps des poignées dans les trous de fixation, à partir du
dessus du lavabo. Soyez certain d’installer le corps marqué “Froid
(Cold)” dans le trou de droite (vu de face).

2. Installation du Corps de la Poignée

-Installez une rondelle, (cette rondelle peut être en retirés en fonction de
l’épaisseur du comptoir) et fixée à la partie inférieur du corps.
-Alignez les corps pour que le tube en cuivre face vers l’extérieur.
-Serrez les écrous.
-Enlevez tout excédent du mastic d’étanchéité.
-Vissez les tuyaux flexibles sur les sorties de corps des poignées. Serrez
avec une clé, mais ne pas trop serrer.
-Introduisez la bague d’échantéité et la rondelle en caoutchouc dans le T.
Vissez le T sur la tige du bec.
-Tennez le bec en position et fixez le T en le serrant. Ne pas trop serrer.
-Raccordez les tuyaux flexibles aux entrées du T. Ne pas utiliser de mastic
pour les tiges filetées. Pour éviter les entortillements des flexibles, formez
en boucle, tel que illustré. Ne pas trop serrer.
