Safety instructions
1. Readandstrictlyfollowtheinstallationandoperatinginstructionstoensurea
longlifeandreliableunitoperation.
2. Theunitisdesignedtobewallmounted.
3. The unit can only be used when in perfect technical condition and correctly
installed.
4. Ifthereisanon-returnvalveinstalledonthewatersupplypipethesafetyvalve
mustbettedbetweentheunitandnon-returnvalve.
5. Inletandoutletpipesshouldnotbemadeofplastic.ThisrelatestoKDHonly.
6. Theunitshouldalwaysbeventedbeforeinitialstart-up.Venttheuniteachtime
afterthewaterhasbeenemptiedfromtheheaterorpipes(e.g.whenwatersupply
systemhasbeenrepairedormaintained).
7. Connectiontoelectricalsystemandmeasurementofreprotectioneffectiveness
shouldbemadebyaqualiedperson.
8. Theunithastobeearthedorneutrallygrounded.
9. Theunitmustbepermanentlyconnectedtotheelectricalsystemequippedwith
anearthclamp.
10. Electricinstallationshouldbeequippedwithresidualcurrentprotectivedevices
andothersolutionswhichwillensuredisconnectingtheheaterfromthesource
ofpower(intervalsbetweenalltheirpolesshouldnotbelessthan3mm).
11. Theunitmustnotbeinstalledintheplacewhichisexposedtothedangerof
explosionandplaceinwhichthetemperaturemaygodownbelow0°C.
12. Itisnotrecommendedtousemixertapswiththermostat.
13. Theunitmustbekeptinaplaceinwhichthetemperaturenevergoesdownbelow
0°C(thereisawaterinsidetheunit).
14. Theunitmustbeconnectedtothecoldwatersuppliesonly.
15. Donotusewhenthewaterhasbeenemptiedfromtheunitorpipes(e.g.when
watersupplysystemhasbeenrepairedormaintained).
16. Unit’scovermustnotbetakenoffwhilepowerison.
17. Failuretoinstallthelteronwatersupplypipecancauseunitdamage.
18 Accumulationoflimescaleinpartsofthewaterheatermaycauselimitedwater
owandfailureofthewaterheater.Failureoftheheateranddamagescaused
bythelimescalewillnotbecoveredbythewarranty.Thewaterheatersandt-
tingsmustbedescaledontheregularbasis,thefrequencyoflimescaleremoval
depandingonthequalityofwater.
19. Appropriateprecautionmustbetakenwhenusinghotwater.Temperatureof
waterover40°Cmaycausehotfeelingandcanbedangerousforchildren.

Installation – Assembly
1. Applythesupportedtemplateontheplace
wheretheunitwillbetted.Markpoints
fordrillingtheholesforxingscrews.
2. Bringthewatersystempipesandelectric
supplycablestothemarkedplaces.
3. Takeofftheunit’scover.
4. Run the supply wire through the hole
beforeyouxtheunitonthewall.
5. Connecttheunittotheelectricmains.
6. Removerubberplugsfromcoldandhot
waterttings.
7. Connect the unit tothe water supply
system.
8. Openthecoldwatervalveandcheckfor
leaks.
9. Venttheunit.Seepage8,section„Vent-
ing”
10. MakesurethattheWTC3orWT3temp.
limiter is at working position (the knob
shouldbepushedin).
11. Puttheunit’scoverback.
12. Makesurethatthereisnoaccesstolive
partsthroughtheholesatthebackplate.


2. Lechauffageestconçupourunmontageaumur.
3. Lechauffeeaupeutêtreutiliséseulementquandilestcorrectementinstalléetestenparfait
étatdefonctionnement.
4. Sisurletuyaualimentantle chauffe-eaueneauestinstalleunclapetanti-retour, il est
indispensabled’installerunesoupapedesécuritésurletronçonentrelechauffe-eauetle
clapetanti-retour(concerneKDH).
5. Nepasutiliserdetuyauxenplastique-nial’entred’eaufroidenialasortied’eauchaude
(concerneKDH).
6. Avantlapremièreutilisationetaprèschaquevidangeduchauffe-eaud’eau(parexemple
danslecadredestravauxdeplomberie)ildoitêtrepurgeselonlepointde„Purge”.
7. Cetappareildevraêtreinstalléparunprofessionnel,ildoitvérierl’efcacitédelaprotection
électrique.

Le montage
1. Utiliserlegabaritpourdéterminerl’em-
placementdemontage.
2. Amener l’électricité et conduites d’eau
jusqu’àl’endroit où lechauffeeaudoit
êtreinstallé.
3. Enleverboîtierduchauffeeau.
4. Fixez le chauffe-eau avec les vis de
montage, introduisant avant le câble
d’alimentation.
5. Raccordées le chauffe eau au réseau
électrique.
6. Enlever les bouchons des tubulures
d’eau.
7. Brancherlechauffeeauauréseaud’eau.
8. Ouvrirlavanne d’arrivée d’eaufroidet
vérierl’étanchéité.
9. Purger l’installation conformémentau
point„PURGE”.
10. S’assurerqueinterrupteurWTC3ouWT3
estsur„marche”.
11. Fixerleboîtierduchauffeeau.
12. S’assurer qu’il n’y a pas d’accès aux
éléments sous tension par derrière de
chauffeeau.

