9. Attach implements correctly! Attach and secure
implementstospecifieddevicesonly!
10. When attaching or removing implements, place the
supportingdevices inthecorrectpositions!
11. Use extreme caution when attaching or detaching
implementsontoor from thetractor!
12. Always attach ballast weights properly to the fixing
pointsprovided!
13. Observepermittedaxleloads,grossweightandtransport
dimensions!
14. Checkandattachtransportequipmentsuchaslighting,
warningdevicesandanyprotectiveequipment!
15. Actuating mechanisms (cables, chains, linkages etc.)
forremotecontrolleddevicesmustbepositionedinsuch
awaythatnomovementsareunintentionallytriggeredat
anytransportorworkingpositions.
16. Ensurethatimplementsareintheprescribedcondition
foron-roadtravelandlocktheminplaceaccordingtothe
manufacturer'sinstructions!
17. Neverleavethedriver'sseatwhenthevehicleismoving!
18. Always drive at the correct speed for the pre-vailing
driving conditions! Avoid sudden changes in direction
whentravellinguphillordownhilloracrossagradient!
19. Attached implements and ballast weights affect the
driving,steeringandbrakingresponse of the machine.
Make sure that you are able to brake and steer the
machineasrequired!
20. Takeintoaccounttheextensionradiusand/orinertiaof
animplementwhenturningcorners!
21. Start up implements only when all protective devices
havebeenattachedandsetintherequiredposition!
22. Keep clear of the working range of the machine at all
times!
23. Donotstandwithintheturningandslewingrangeofthe
implement!
24. Neveroperatethe hydraulic foldingframesifanyone is
insidetheslewingrange!
25. Partsoperatedby external power (e.g. hydraulics) can
causecrushingandshearinginjuries!
26. Beforeleavingthetractor,lowertheimplementonto
the ground, switch off the engine and remove the
ignitionkey!
27. No one should stand between the tractor and the
implement unless the vehicle has been secured
against rolling with the handbrake and/or wheel
chocks!
2.3.1 Mounted implements
1. Beforemountingimplementson/fromthethree-point
linkage, all controls have to be positioned in such a
way that any unintentional lifting or lowering of the
machine is impossible.
2. Incaseofthree-pointmountedimplementsitisessen-
tial that the hitch category of the implement matches
that of the tractor.
3. Thethree-pointlinkageincludesshearingandpinching
areas.
4. When operating the outer controls of the three-point
linkagedo not step between tractorandimplement.
5. Whentheimplementisintransportpositionassureat
all times a sufficient lateral limitation of the tractor
three-pointlinkage.
6. Whentravellingonpublicroadswithimplementraised
makesurethecontrolleverissecuredagainstlowering.
2.3.2 Power Take-Off Operation
1. UseonlyPTOshaftsspecifiedbythemanufacturer!
2. The guard tube and guard cone of the PTO and the
PTO guard must be attached and in good working
condition(ontheimplementside,too)!
3. Makesurethattherequiredtubecoversareinplace
forPTOshaftsintransportandworkingposition!
4. BeforeinstallingorremovingPTOshafts,disengage
thePTO,switchofftheengineandremovetheignition
key!
5. When using PTO shafts with an overload safety or
free-runningcouplingwhichare not shielded by the
guard on the tractor, mount the overload safety or
free-runningcouplingontheimplementside!
6. Always make sure that the PTO shaft is properly
installedandsecured!
7. Attach chains to prevent the PTO shaft guard from
rotatingwiththeshaft!
