8. Before engaging the PTO shaft, make sure that the
selected PTO shaft speed of the tractor matches the
permissibleimplementspeed!
9. Beforeengaging thePTOshaft, makesurethat noone
isin the hazard areaaroundtheimplement!
10. NeverengagethePTOshaftiftheengineisswitchedoff!
11. NooneshouldbeinthevicinityoftherotatingPTOshaft
when it is in use.
12. AlwaysswitchoffPTOshaftwhentheangleistoolarge
or the PTO shaft is not required!
13. Cau1tion! Theflywheelwillcontinuetorotateforsome
time even after the PTO shaft has been disengaged!
Keepclear oftheimplementduringthistime.Donotdo
anyworkontheimplementuntilthemachinehascome
to a complete stand-still and the flywheel has been
securedusingthehand brake.
14. DisengagethePTOshaft,stoptheengineandremove
theignitionkeybeforecleaning,lubricatingandadjusting
the PTO shaft driven implements or the PTO shaft!
Secure the flywheel with the hand brake.
15. Place the disconnected PTO shaft onto the bracket
provided!
16. After removing the PTO shaft, attach the protective
cover to the PTO shaft end!
17. Ifdamageoccurs,correctthisimmediatelybeforeusing
theimplement!
2.3.3 Hydraulic System
1. The hydraulic system is pressurized!
2. When connecting hydraulic cylinders and
engines, make sure that the hydraulic hoses are
connectedcorrectly!
3. When connecting the hydraulic hoses to the tractor
hydraulics, make sure that the hydraulics of both the
tractorandtheimplementhavebeendepressurized!
4. Inthecaseofhydraulicconnectionsbetweentractorand
implement the coupling sleeves and plugs should be
markedtoensureaproperconnection!Iftheconnections
areswitched,thefunctionwillbereversed(e.g.raising/
lowering)-dangerof accidents!
5. Check the hydraulic hose lines at regular intervals and
replacethemifdamagedorworn!Thenewhosesmust
fulfillthetechnicalrequirementssetbythemanufacturer
of the implement!
6. Whensearchingforleaks,usesuitableaidstoavoidthe
risk of injuries!
7. Liquidsescapingunderhighpressure(hydraulicoil)can
penetrate the skin and cause serious injury! Seek
medicalhelpimmediatelyshouldinjuriesoccur!Riskof
infection!
8. Before working on the hydraulic system, lower the
implement,depressurizethesystem and switch offthe
engine!
2.3.4 Tyres
1. When working on the tyres, make sure that the
implement has been safely lowered and secured
againstrolling(wheelchocks).
2. Installing wheels and tyres requires adequate
knowledgeandsuitabletools!
3. Repairworkonthetyresandwheelsshouldbedone
by specially trained personnel using appropriate
installation tools only!
4. Checktyrepressureregularly!Inflatethetyrestothe
recommendedpressures!
2.3.5 Maintenance
1. Repair,maintenanceandcleaning work as well as
therectificationofmalfunctionsmay only ever be
carriedoutwhenthedriveisswitchedoffandthe
engine is at a standstill!
-Removetheignitionkey! Pull the parking brake
forthebalancingweight.
2. Regularly check that nuts and bolts are properly
seatedandtightenif necessary!
3. Whendoingmaintenanceworktoaraisedimplement,
always use suitable means to secure it against
falling.
4. Whenreplacingworkingtoolswithcuttingedges,use
suitabletoolsandgloves!
5. Disposeofoils,greasesand filtersaccordingto
regulations!
6. Alwaysdisconnectthepowersupplybeforeworking
on the electrical system!
7. Ifprotectivedevicesandguardsaresubjectto
wear, check them regularly and replace them in
goodtime!
8. Whendoingelectricalwelding on the tractor and
attachedimplements,disconnect thealternator
andbatterycables!
9. Replacement parts must at least comply with the
technicalrequirementssetbythemanufacturer of
theimplements!
ThisisguaranteedwhenusinggenuineKRONE
replacementparts!
10. Onlyuse nitrogenforfillingpneumatic
accumulators-Risk of explosion!
